Is it weird to be reviewing a Bath and Body Works? Or to seek out a specific location to review? Ok…read morewell, I'm doing it anyway. My hubby and I went to the mall last weekend to just wander and browse. It's cold out, gets dark early and there's just not much to do. So here we are. We walked up to the front of this store, keep in mind we haven't entered yet, and immediately are greeted by one of three women waiting at the front. Ok fine, I'll say hi and no thanks I don't need a bag and no thanks I don't want to hear about the special deals. Leave me alone I'm literally just here to smell candles (kidding), but really it was a little much when we're still technically not in the store. Our mistake was walking further into the store, where the remaining two associates proceeded to give us the same speech, "hi, are you looking for anything? Need a bag? Did you know about our sales?". I'm sure they're trained to do this but ohmyGOODness you're selling lotion and candles I'm fully capable of browsing on my own. This may feel very rant-y, and you're right because it is. But keep in mind there are literally several other Bath and Body Works locations at this mall alone. Plus a Body Shop or any other options. I get they're aiming for service-friendly, but there's a balance and a high-pressure sales pitch is just not going to do it for me.

I always love the scent of this store-- it smells amazing the second you walk in. The space is also bright, clean, and well-organized, which makes browsing a nice experience (even when you're trying not to get distracted by all the goodies). I came in with one purpose: to grab a specific bottle of lotion and get out.... Mission quick errand today. When I headed to the register to check out, no one was there. I waited a few minutes before a staff member appeared. Unfortunately, she didn't seem very enthusiastic about helping me. She rang me up quickly, as if there were a line behind me but I was the only customer at the counter. When I mentioned I had coupons, she appeared visibly annoyed and had to restart the transaction to apply them. Honestly, Bath & Body Works runs promos and sends out coupons often, it would be helpful (and more customer-friendly) if staff asked whether you had any coupons before finalizing the transaction. That small step could avoid awkward interactions and make the checkout process much smoother. Overall, the staff didn't come off as particularly welcoming or friendly during this visit. I'm glad I knew what I needed and was in and out quickly because I didn't feel especially appreciated as a customer this time around.

Discrepancy in coupons using & dates. I was told my various…read morelocation managers that expired coupons were accepted 7 days after they expire. As you can see by my photos I have PLENTY of coupons. The supposed manager laughed in our face as we presented coupons and said they were expired. The other 2 ladies pictured (one nice lady at front desk) mentioned different dates: "expire in 2 days, expire in 5 days". I was confused. I asked the manager (in black And white plaid shirt) if she was going to let a $300 sale walk out because she would not honor the coupons? She shrugged as if did not care. I walked away, decided to end my shopping and stop at $50! As I was paying I started to take pics and I nicely announced I was going to post a review. On my way out, I stopped and talked to manager, asked if I could take a pic for a Yelp review- the so called manager turned her back to me and walked away from me! How disgusting! Shout out to the Eden Prairie Mall location that takes expired coupons 7 days after expiration date. High Prestige at Mall Of America...tsk, tsk... (Manager is seen walking away in the black & white plaid shirt). Still have my coupons should someone care to call me!!!

How am I the first person to review the Bath & Body Works at MOA??…read more Well anyways... I will say that the people working here are super helpful and friendly! They all have different favorite scents picked out which is nice as I hate feeling like they are reading off of a generic script or something. I love every product I've ever bought from here! From the soap, to the bubble bath, even my new favorite lotion (sweet pea)! So why, you ask, am I only giving it three stars?? Because unlike most of the other B&BW stores I have been to, this is the only one that smells at any given time like they combined every available scent they sell into the ventilation system... It's horrifying and it's not like that at any other store. I never get headaches when I'm at the one in Rosedale... Speaking of Rosedale's store... it seems as though that store is actually BIGGER than the one here at MOA... which I think this one should be a flagship store and therefore have a really nice large and open layout... instead I feel like I am being crammed into tiny walking paths in between precariously leaning PILES of product... It's claustrophobia inducing and makes shopping here a real pain.. I mean seriously I get physically ill, almost like vertigo. Those two factors keep me from shopping here as often as I would like too... So for now, I will wait until I run out completely before venturing to here, or I will wait until I am back at Rosedale!

After trying several different companies, we finally settled on Apple Valley and have been using their shampoo bars for men for several years. My husband and son, both love their product - my husband uses Man and my son uses Man 2.0. We found it convenient to try their sample pack to see which product we liked the best. I tried several of their bars for my hair but unfortunately didn't get the lather that I like, so opted for a different company for myself. That doesn't diminish how happy we have been with their bars. We like that the bars are made in the USA and their commitment to cruelty free, organic & sustainable products. We also like that it is a Christian based company and 10% of their proceeds go to charitable organizations - for us, that's a WIN/WIN.

I cried I was so scared to brush it or do anything with it because whatever was left of my hair would ended up in my hands, the brush, or in the drainage filter! ‍ I cut it short, really short, like a man's hair cut ‍‍ I was devastated and embarrassed to go anywhere, especially to work ‍ Then, after searching for how to do some home remedies and after having spent a lot of money in an arsenal of hair products like oils, shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, hair serums, leave in hair treatments, etc., etc., the natural products from Apple Valley Natural Soaps came my way!! I was happy the way my hair felt since the first time! I still have a long way to go in order to regain a healthy scalp and hair, but I am very optimistic about these natural products. I truly believe I've found the way to restore and maintain a healthier hair and scalp. I can't wait to see my hair getting long again! and after this horrible and painful hair process experience a new beginning and healthier re-start awaits for me to bring back an even better outcome for my hair growth and maintenance. I thank God for helping me to find these great items and for the people that make them!
