I recently found out this is the busiest Walgreens in the state of Minnesota. It shows. I live…read moreextremely close to this location so this is where I get all my prescriptions. I otherwise try to avoid the place because it is a ZOO. It seems like every time I go, day, night, weekday, weekend, holiday, whatever, the line at the pharmacy is at least 10 people deep and despite the workers hustling, it moves slow. The drive thru is not much better usually with cars backed up. There are several Walgreens locations nearby. If you're in your car and have the option- I'd pick a different one over this one.

If I could give zero for customer service I would…read more They do a lot of volume here but do not understand that time could pass more pleasantly for everyone without being rude. I have no idea who trains them, but they are HOSTILE. The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the pharmacists themselves are the most affordable compounding pharmacists around. Bloomington Pharmacy is much nicer to people and they do compounding but they are pricier. If you can afford it, go there instead. This pharmacy frequently does NOT notify me that my prescription is NOT ready or why. They always blame me for their lack of communication so I try to build this into my refill process. They never have the right sized plunger / syringe combo for my liquid medicine. Two other plusses are they are 24/7 and they have a drive through. The customer service though, especially over the phone is absolutely horrendous so do not deal with them if you are vulnerable or sensitive - take reinforcements. I am not sure why their default setting is so unprofessional, but if you ever get a nice person, it's a pleasant surprise. #latestagecapitalism

This is the CVS inside Target (there's also a CVS across the street from Target). I've been getting…read moremy prescription filled here as of late last year. This was my 4th time picking up my prescription. They have an app where you can see the price, when your pills are ready, etc. Almost every time I go here the line could be 2-4 people and still take more than 30 minutes. Never go here if you have somewhere to be or during a lunch break. Also the people waiting in line complain the whole time which makes the wait much harder. Often times when it's my time to go up to the counter to get my pills the person behind me (almost always an older lady) will literally approach the counter right on my heals which is annoying and I have to sometimes tell them to back up. I feel like the regular checkout lanes is one thing but to be in my personal bubble while I'm picking up my medication is crazy. I wish they had an actual line structure or signage that told people to wait a few steps back (which should be common sense but here it's definitely not). The staff are always super helpful when it comes to knowing that insurance may cover pills if they are in one form vs another or if a generic or if it's better to buy over counter vs the prescription. It usually seems like they are short staffed and a bit overworked so I try to be patient whenever the line is discouraging. Overall I just wish it was a bit more organized as far as the line process.

Sheesh The shelves looked pretty empty, everything was unorganized and the vibes were entirely off as they gave war zone vibes! This is not Bloomington Mn , it identified more as Vietnams war zone! The parking lot was all chopped up coming into this location. I was praying that it didn't ruin the rental vehicle, yes that's how bad it was! I stopped in for a Birthday card and a quick pregift but I became so irritated in here, that I left with hand lotion and sanitizer wipes since this store gave me dry lips and made me want to sanitize everything walking out! Get it together district or whomever is in charge of this location! This is unacceptable for the Walgreens brand and I'm here to give honest opinions and reviews so... there you have it!!! The staff were nice as they laughed with me at my feedback and opinion but they did their best to back it up.... so they are loyal... keep them! Great job guys for having your companies back and for letting me know that, I no longer needed to hold on to my pearls and purse tightly! HA All staff deserve a raise and 7 months off with pay as well as, a paid vacation while you marketing and district manager team, clean up this store and make it great! Sheesh , CVS WOULD NEVERRRR!!!

I just got off the phone with him about 20 minutes ago, politely asking he remove an incorrect fax number from a provider that we are consistently getting prescription refill faxes for. He asked me three times which location we were (he offered two choices) and I said neither one. I repeated that this was just the wrong place entirely, to which he finally heard/processed and then continued to talk over me. When I asked him if that made sense, he said "Yup, got it, wrong fax, bye," and just hung up without pause. If he had listened to what I said before, he would have clearly heard that I was simply calling to make sure no more PHI was released, that they correct their fax number, and that this repeated error was dealt with. I called back and Kerry answered. I asked to speak with the manager, and Jamal picked up again, introducing himself this time as the Pharmacist. I said I wanted to make sure our fax number was indeed taken off the provider's name in their system, and that he had abruptly ended the call earlier that I didn't get a chance to ensure it was fixed. He said he hung up because he had another line waiting to be answered. I don't believe that justifies his rude actions. He then confirmed that the fax number was taken off, and rushed me off the phone yet again. I was only thinking about their patient's protected health information (PHI), and making sure this repeated error was getting fixed. He did not have to act so rudely when it was his patient's that it was affecting. If their prescriptions were getting sent to the wrong place, that not only jeopardizes their identity (PHI), but it delays their prescriptions in getting refilled. If a patient needs a certain medication to live, I don't want to be the cause of delaying them getting it. Please do not go here.
