This place has made me never want to shop at an Ulta again. They used to have 2 girls and someone…read morewas there every day..now they are down to one and have no second girl in site. They have changed their hours from every day to Monday-Thursday, and Saturday. I went on a Thursday and she wasn't there for some reason, wasn't told the schedule and came back Friday...she wasn't there. By this time I was a little peeved. I called today to make an appointment and was placed on hold for 5 minutes and then hung up on. I called back and placed on hold again...5 minutes and I was hung up on AGAIN. I am officially done and over that place! Customer service is hit or miss there. Their products aren't any cheaper than going to Macy's and buying them. They are more convenient, but the fact that they can't get their act together makes that irrelevant.

They did not fill the prescription wrong, but rather gave her someone else's medication! I still can't comprehend how this happened with all of the questions they ask regarding address and phone number. The most concerning thing was when I reached back out, the store manager stated that this has happened before and will likely happen again, due to mistakes. I understand that, but the nonchalant attitude of the staff, with the store manager leading the way, is dangerous. We will never use Walgreen's Apple Valley, and will question using Walgreens again. It's also a nice reminder to check ALL medication before using and don't simply rely on professionals to provide it.

But the customer service at the desk and floor have always been helpful. They always greet me with a smile when I enter and I also appreciate how diverse the staff is. They can get busy especially around the holidays, but they always go through the customers pretty quickly and efficiently. I love how bright and open the space is. There's a lot of color in the displays and they have a huge variety of products. Pretty much anything you need for makeup and skin is located here. Their credit card program is great and there's lots of rewards you can get. I recently brought my toddlers and they loved looking around at everything with me. I also didn't feel judged by the staff for bringing small kids to the shop. It's hard to get out with small kids these days, but friendly staff definitely make it a bit easier. :)

I pulled up to the drive up pharmacy window to pick up a prescription, and the pharmacist never even acknowledged that I was there. He just went about what he was doing ignoring me for 10 minutes. I ended up just leaving and transferring my prescriptions to Amazon pharmacy where they are delivered and less than half the cost of Walgreens.
