Every time I visit, I discover a different type of product and amazing new scents. The employees are so friendly and go out of their way to assist you. I discovered this place because of Yelp and now my family and boyfriend's family all use their products. Everything is such high quality! I heard about Tiki Botanicals through a partnered Yelp event, when I mentioned that I was unable to attend the event the shopkeeper right away said he would honor the event promo. When you walk in there are paper shoppers bags along the wall you can grab to start putting your goodies in. They offer candles, bath bombs, bar soap, hair products, and more! When you check out you get to pick which tissue paper to use in your bag. So adorable and a great touch. As I was leaving the shop I heard the shopkeepers discussing what they would work on for the day. They were going to pour candles. It was a very Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion moment and it made me smile from ear to ear! You can really tell they enjoy what they do and know how to provide a memorable customer experience.

The store itself is very nicely put together and very organized but my main concern was the help. It was very hard to get some help for color matching due to there only being two staff on the floor. As a person who knows little about hair care, I truly appreciate the great customer service. The staff is diverse, so I appreciate product knowledge and personal hair care experience that employees are able to share. I've never had a bad customer service experience in the many years that I've shopped here. I also shop here because this location has the largest selection of gray (salt/pepper) hair products. My exact hair color is difficult to find at other supply stores. Like most large beauty supply stores, they carry a variety of hair, wigs, makeup, jewelry, purses, and hair products but it's the great customer service that separates them from the rest.

I was hoping for some good deals, but nothing was marked down. Not until well into my visit, did I find the 50% off basket. It was pointless, filled with yucky smelling lotions. The rest of the products in the store were very nice. Everything else smelled pretty amazing. But it was so expensive! After chatting it up with the sales lady (it was her last day and she was a little bouncy), I learned that you can create your own oil and lotion mixtures. I was a little too tired to be creative, but I did want to try something. I got one ounce of the first thing I asked about: the belly oil. It's meant for pregnant mom's to be to help avoid stretch marks. One ounce is $2.75. The woman grabbed an ounce container (which cost $.75, she told me after filling it), and pumped it full of this miracle oil, with essential oils, and maybe wheat germ. She didn't know exactly what was in it. I thought that was strange. The oils cool so far. Smells funny. I'll probably get some more and mix in a scent. Unfortunately, it will probably add another $1.00 to the order.

I went in and was blown away by all of the different scents that they have! They are cruelty free, use no harsh chemicals, plant based, and items are handmade daily. I bought two laundry soaps (they were buy one get one), shower oil, body scrub, two soap sleeves (LOVE THESE SO MUCH), two soap bars, and a bath bomb for around $60. This price is unheard of for everything that I purchased! The only reason I cannot give them 5 stars is because I had a reaction to the actual scent that I bought. I purchased 'Good Morning Sunshine' in all of the products except the soap bars. My skin reacted fine to the soap bars, but I had a reaction that left my skin itching all over. When I reached out to customer service, I was told to speak with the manager (Julie) for either an exchange or refund due to the reaction. When I arrived to the store, Julie was not there so another manager helped me. This store is so new that it seems like everyone is still trying to learn how to use the system! Unfortunately, I was not able to get an actual refund to my card. I did end up getting store credit, which is great, but I probably will not be able to use it! I am planning on passing this store credit on to someone who loves Lush as much as I do and can benefit from trying something new! The employees at this store are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure all of your questions are answered! There is a place where you can try their items as well! I definitely recommend doing this! I loved the feeling of putting on the shower oil after using the body scrub. It sounds like this reaction was definitely scent related... my nerves got the best of me and I was too afraid to try the unscented due to the past few weeks of constant itching. I now am back to using my regular laundry detergent and skin care items!

I went to Buff City Soap recently for the first time and they were having a sale on laundry so I decided to try their dryer balls that weren't part of the sale but they gave me a sample so it was a good buy for me. I tried their laundry detergent and am very impressed, my clothes have never smelled and felt better as the detergent comes with Soap With 100 % Coconut Oil, Citric Acid, Washing Powder, Essential Oils and/or Phthalate & Paraben Free Fragrances. My clothes are so soft and feel fresh. The Wool Dryer Balls (3 Pack) are great as they replace those stupid dryer sheets and I just read on their website now that you can return to any Makery to get them re-scented. I knew that I needed to get the re- scented every 100 loads but wow! Another thing I want to note is that I didn't like the scent that I got at all so I brought them back the next day and they just switched them out, no questions asked. Great customer service. Can't wait to go back soon and try more.
