If it was possible to give a half star I would. I went in for a fill-in with a no chip and pedicure my daughter also got a pedicure. My nails were HORRIBLE #1 my nails had lumps #2 I went in with square shaped nails and now half are square and the others are round. When I pointed it out to the owner she originally looked at my nails and asked what was wrong (duh can you see) then as I point everything out to her she tells me she will fix them. I schedule an appointment for the next day since it was already late and I needed to get home. Well when I went back she she buffed my and did not correct the different shapes of the nail. This place totally takes advantage of teens. Twice my 15 year old daughter has been charged for services that she did not ask for, and was not aware (because she is 15) she was getting. This last time 2/2/18, she went in for a full set of acrylics, which she has gotten many times-and expected to pay the normal $29 for. When she went to pay, they said it was $44. When asked why- they said it was an extra $15 for a no chip manicure on top. When the manicurist was asked if she informed my daughter of the extra cost, she replied"she didn't know? It said no chip on the sign in form" My daughter did not fill out the form, the owner did. I ask you- who needs a no chip on top of acrylics?! If she chose a color that happened to be in the "no chip" color pallet, she should have been informed that it would be an extra charge, and offered the opportunity to change her mind. When I asked the owner- I was told that "she should be responsible to know what costs more". Really? This is not our first experience, but it will be our last. read more

I had Lee do a no chip gel fill. First time at salon as a walk-in. I was pleasantly surprised as I have been very disappointed having gone to many other nail salons in and around the Fox Valley area. Lee took his time and shaped each and every nail so PERFECTLY!!! I have to say this was the very best fill/polish I have had in over a year. He will be my new 'go to" nail tech from now on. I don't even care that it is much further for me to drive. He is worth going to for excellent service and results. Very attentive and truly a perfectionist!! read more

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. All workers are so rude, i went in hoping for chrome nails which a man started to do my nails and after 1.5 hours he found out the chrome doesn't work, he then rushed and took of my paint and rushed to put on a white coat which looked chunky and awful! Then he knew he messed up and decided not to give me any discount of any because he did "hard work" even though his hard work was awful. Today I went to get a polish change on my toes and a no chip manicure. I got the polish change first and that was a good experience, then came the no chip...The man doing my nails started doing the normal soaking hands and cutting cuticles then he started to apply the base coat of my nails and after doing about 3 nails he got up and walked out of the salon. Literally got up and left. I was confused and wondering what was going on. It took someone 5 minutes to come up to me and say his Mom is in the hospital he had to leave. I was annoyed but felt bad right away for feeling that way, because I felt bad for him. I sat and waited and waited and waited for 20 minutes (the news was on so I could watch the time at the bottom of the screen) then finally a girl came up to me and started finishing my nails then she told me oh he forgot he had to pick up his kid so he had to go! First of all why did the other guy lie to me and who just walks out of their job, while they are literally in the middle of doing their job??? She starts to do my nails then stops to finish another women's pedicure, then comes back. At this time the guy who left in the middle of my appointment comes in has a seat and finished my nails! Are you kidding me? I was very annoyed they could tell and they could have cared less. They did not apologize for lying or making me wait all that time. I was there for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes!! They offered no discount or anything! Then the best part is I just looked down at my nails and 2 of them are scratched up. How does that happen to a no chip? I have had over 50 no chip manicures and never have they scratched! I should have gotten the hint when I was sitting there waiting and a girl came in and said I just had my no chip done yesterday and 3 of my nails are chipped! I will never go there again! Sam the owner and manager is a doll! She truly cares and appreciates each customer that comes through her door. Her staff, lots of experienced people, enjoy their jobs. My first time in this place & I truly find the staff very friendly & accommodation was superb since me & my friend came @6pm which is when they close, they still took us in. I would have given it a 5 star because overall I like the ambience & staff. Only thing is, I have deep dry skin on my toes which requires someone's expertise. I have informed this guy about it & he said not to worry & he will do it for me. He never came back out to retrieve the one doing my pedicure. So, I was not a happy camper when I left but told the lady that I would love to come back but assign someone who can do the job. She was nice & so did they guy who did my pedicure, sans the deep dry skin care. read more

Not impressed! Scheduled for group of seven to, celebrate daughters birthday, have manicures on Saturday morning. Made Appt. and even called day before the appt. to make sure salon had adequate staffing to take care of group . Arrived a few minutes prior to appt. time and all four staff (was told there would be five) were busy working on others, and three of the four were in the beginning stages of pedicures. Frustrating since we were on a time schedule, and had an appt. We were all finished by the time I had asked, but it seemed we were all rushed through. Was told by another patron that she and her daughter, along with the other three patrons having pedicures were "walk-ins" just prior to us arriving, so I have to ask why they would take these "walk-ins" prior to a known scheduled group? Manicures were mediocre at best. I was told the girls would receive nail designs, two out of the five girls did not get designs on their nails, and I overheard owner Mai tell the staff member doing my daughters nails, the birthday girl, to only design two nails. She wanted paw prints, so she had paw prints on her thumbs. How hard would it have been to put paw prints on all nails? Five dots!! I will not be going back. read more

Love this place! They do an excellent job on my nail and my pedi. I go in regularly and never have an issue with being fit in and the entire staff is friendly. Sam is the owner and she does designs. I've taken in my phone shown her pics from Pinterest and she has nailed it haha! I've also taken my boyfriends daughter with me as they have a child pedicure station. I tried this salon a few years ago and found it to be horrendous - dirty, mean workers, no follow through. I went back on the recommendation of a friend and found it to be a brand new place. It is now clean, warm and inviting. The woman, Mai, who did my nails was more thorough than I have found anyone in years. A full set of pink and whites have been going for three weeks now and are just in need of a fill. The are a great shape, color and thickness. My pedi was done by Katie - it is phenomenal. She took her time, made sure all the cuticles were done correctly and the massage at the end was awesome. If you haven't been here in a while, try it again. It is wonderful. read more

I called ahead and was told if I came now, they could see me. She offered to help me choose a color for my pedicure. She showed me the options but didn't push to upgrade. She did a nice job on my tough feet. My foot and leg massage felt fabulous. The massage chairs are great. It was clean. All staff were friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed. I will return! read more

First time here. Had good reviews, so took a chance. Had an apt booked for two pedicures. We still had to wait 20 minutes. My water was cold, but I didn't say anything because they were aware. I was given only one hot towel for my leg and was told sorry..they had no more. I thought it was still an ok experience, but now I'm upset because my middle toe on my right foot is in pain. I don't know why...the nail doesn't look weird, but I'm scared there's a cut under my nail and I'm praying it's nothing unsanitary. Not sure why it has been hurting all day, but I would not return here. Should have went to Best Nails, which was the other salon I was considering. read more

As a long time customer I moved from the area and continued to make 27 miles trips 1 way to get the great service I use to get. My boyfriend regularly gave me gift certificates knowing I liked their service. EVERY TIME my gift certs. were more in value than service I received. Didn't matter. I still tipped well. I noticed the snobbish owner gave her warm welcome to a certain type of new clientele and often not even a hello as I arrived. 5/23/19 I called ahead was told $25 for gel powder fill in. $30 no chip polish. When I arrived there are huge signs outside saying $20 for the fill in. Only to be told $38 when I was done. Keep in mind there are signs inside saying 2% cashback if you use cash. I was seriously told there was so much nail polish on when we started that it was because this was a lot of extra work. Once again it's snobbish owner sat feet away and did not get involved until I said I'm going to post a negative review this is not how you treat anyone let alone loyal customers. Paris Nail and Spa is much better than previously posted. I had them do my nails for my bridal shower to see how they were and they did a great job. So, I booked them for my bridal manicure and pedicure and added a lot of the women in and attending our wedding-plus, two flower girls. We had a total of 11 in our group. They were very busy, but they got through all of us in the time I requested and did a very nice job. read more

I had high hopes for this place, its clean and everyone seemed nice. Long story short...it took 2, yes 2 hours to get a full set of gel with no chip...which means I didn't have to wait for drying..and not the best job either..and they still charged full price..very disappointing as I rarely get to go get my nails done...I will not ever be going back there. read more

I would consider myself to be a very open-minded person, especially when it comes to the professionalism and dedication of a business. I welcome new opportunities, and am eager to enjoy the unique qualities of a salon I have not yet visited. However, with that said, Paris Nail and Spa is not a salon that I feel is worth revisiting. My friend and I went in to enjoy a relaxing pampering session, and we were very disappointed with the staff. During my manicure, my cuticle was sliced open so badly (and, respectfully, this may happen from time to time, as I am aware, but this circumstance was incredibly painful and the worst I have ever, ever encountered) that the bleeding simply would not stop. In an attempt to stop the bleeding, the manicurist poured acetone on my finger (Ouch!) as opposed to a nail glue to clot the bleeding. Well, since the acetone only encouraged the bleeding, I was forced to endure a painful, continuous cycle (Which lasted about an hour, for those wondering). Acetone, bleeding, acetone, an attempt to re-paint the nail, blood leaking into the polish, acetone, bleeding, re-painting of the nail, well... You get it. I understand that accidents can happen, and at first, I felt quite empathetic for the manicurist. I know that he did not intentionally do this--However, that being said, I was not happy with my bloody finger, nor the ruined polish, nor the pain that I was subjected to (for entirely too long, since the manicurist failed to use a less painful method). I wasn't even compensated for my lost time. I was charged the full amount of my manicure, ensuring that I will never recommend, nor revisit, this salon. read more

Horrific experience!!!! Went last Sunday for a no chip manicure. I was bounced between 2 women and the one butchered my cuticles. She cut my pinky til it bled by my nail bed. Took 20 minutes just to stop the bleeding. I said I was upset since I felt she wasn't paying attention and was rushing. After all this, I was still charged full price with nothing to address my injured finger. Now I am fearing infection since the place was not the cleanest salon I have visited. To make it worse, every nail has chipped after only one week. The no-chip has lasted at least 2 weeks at other businesses. I will NEVER go back and am telling all my friends not to go here!!!! read more
