He has a gift for feeling out a crowd and keeping them dancing and having fun all night! He did our entire wedding (ceremony, dining, and reception) and everything flowed together perfectly. I was afraid people weren't going to dance, which would have been heartbreaking for me because the dancing is my favorite part of weddings. I DID NOT need to be worried, however! Johnny got people of all ages up and on the dance floor! My stepkids, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, friends' parents--EVERYONE was out there at some point! I'm pretty sure I spent the last 2.5 hours sweating--luckily my husband is good at making the rounds and chatting people up, because once the dance music started I was done with formalities! He's great at sensing the vibe of a crowd and playing just the right songs to keep people moving, then seamlessly transitioning from one song to the next to make it feel like it's a never-ending party! Oh, and no chicken dance/macarena/conga if you don't want them! If you've put those songs on your No Play list, he will tell people NO if they request them! Our reception was a non-stop party, and DJ Mike was the reason it flowed so well. I was really surprised with how much time and effort he put into planning and organizing before the wedding. He demonstrated to us that this wasn't just another gig for him, and he truly cared about delivering the performance we wanted. He showed a real understanding for what we were looking for, and helped us with so much more than just music. From ceremony planning to remote microphone and speaker setup, music selection, arranging, editing, timing... he really did it all and we couldn't have been happier. We had quite a few songs that weren't your normal song requests and he was more than accommodating. The best part of having Aaron as our Dj was how much he rolled with the flow the day of. It was raining the day of our wedding and unfortunately the tent was leaking Into the area where he was supposed to set up. Our ceremony was delayed over an hour so it cut into a lot of our dancing time. He was able to set up in a different location no problem. After we finished all the ceremonial items I gave Aaron the thumbs up and he immediately kicked up the music and got everyone dancing for the 45 minutes or so that we had.
