This place is just fun! From the fish tank to the shooting range to sitting on all the boats, what's not to love. Oh ya, we always get some fudge when we stop here. They have tables to entertain the kids while you wait in that long line but very much worth it! Then they have even more games after your picture! Enjoy going to this store to check all there great products. The one major thing this store lacks is customer service. My last visit was to buy some boots. After searching for an employee, I asked him for a 10 1/2 boot. He went to get my boots and came out several minutes later to say "we only have 10 and 11". Before I could say let's try the 11, he was gone. He literally didn't even slow down as he told me he didn't have my size. Visit another store. This one doesn't care about the customer. read more

This is a review about bass pro shop in general. Ordered one of their tourney rods in July of 2017 used it a few months then stored in doors over the winter months. Took it out when the weather broke around April to find the rail was junk no biggie I ordered a pfluger president at bass pro. And now the rod snapped in half one month after the one year warranty was up and they don't want nothing to do with me. I probably averaged at least a couple hundred bucks a year buying from them. It;s Football season again and if your in the Foxboro area take the time to stop in the Bass Pro Shops mega store. If your a sportsmen they have everything you need to outfit your camping and hunting trip. They have a very friendly staff in the firearms department that can answer all of your questions on firearms, clubs and classes. I don't fish but if you have a interest in this then this is a good place to see many types of fishing outfits. The place is very large with the street level displaying seasonal clothing, footwear, hunting and foul weather gear. The lower level has the fishing and boating hard wear with a small restaurant in the back that serves food. I have not tried the restaurant yet so I can't review it. . read more

Recently stopped by here to get a compound bow as well as a release and some arrows. Dave in archery was very helpful with everything and certainly knew what he was talking about. I hadn't shot a bow since summer camp 15 years ago(which was a recurve) but Dave was able to tune my new compound bow by adjusting it to my draw length and poundage as well as sighting it in for me on the indoor range while also giving me quite a few pointers which allowed me to get less than an inch away from a very small target in the short time on the range. Bass pro shops is basically Disneyland for adults, or at least outdoor oriented adults. It's essentially a city, and it's an incredible visual spectacle the first time you enter. If you are into sports/outdoor type places, I promise you, you will be back. They have Little bit of everything, and what you can't find in there, they can order for you. But their inventory is so spectacular and enormous, that chances are, they will have what you need. Every time I have been there, I have been satisfied. For the amount of overhead they must pay, their prices are incredibly reasonable. The customer service in the store is very solid. They have more than enough staff for such a large store, and they all seem to be very educated and well versed in their products. It Instills you with confidence to shop there. You would think that with the store this big, parking would be a big issue... But it's not. There is a huge a lot, and I have never seen it filled to capacity, so you always be able to find a spot, even if it's not right next to the front door. Overall, I am very pleased with this place, and I continue to go back every chance I get. They have definitely earned my business. read more

I finally made it to this place - it has been open for more then a month, but it was so busy that I did not want to deal with the crowd. My review is from the entertainment point of view of this place. I went with my daughter as I heard it is an entertaining place for kids. My oh my! Its a whole world inside!!! There are real size fur animals there - like turkeys and wolfs, bear and baby bears, deers, moose, raccoons, etc. There is a water fall with real fish in it. The hunting and fishing scenes. The water fall ends with a big fish tank that you can sit in front of and enjoy watching the fish. At certain times there are fish feedings you can participate in - see their web site for details. Besides the large fish tank there is also smaller fish pond with the moose standing in it - this is where the trout is swimming. When the fish sees you coming they swim over to check you out :) There is caffe with nice choice of foods for adults and kids. Restrooms are nice, clean and roomy, but the sinks are a bit too high for toddlers. They have boats outside and inside and kids are allowed to go on these boats when accompanied by parent. My daughter liked climbing on the boat and looking around. There is also pistol firing range. The cost of one game is 50c. I saw 6 year olds using it as well as adults - fun, fun, fun. My husband really wanted to go to this store and I wasn't too excited as I know how long he can be "stuck" at such kind of store. We spend about 3 hours there and I didn't even notice how fast the time went by. This is really nice rainy day entertainment for adults and kids alike! Not to mention the Christmas Tree shop located on the same plaza - for those who's spouse might get stuck for longer in the Bass Pro shop while they would not be as impressed as I was with the entertainment available in the store. read more

I don't know what to think of this place. It's an ostentatious altar to killing, I guess. It's also a great place to get Dad a gift. Basically, he's a kid in a candy store when he's here. My boyfriend also loves the camping section. There's a giant tank filled with bass (natch) that's pretty cool to look at, as well as some turtles in the back. Other distractions include a realistic deer-shooting arcade game, and the most taxidermied animals together in one room. The place is definitely decorated right for their patrons. They didn't skimp on the details. And pretty much anything you want (or need) in camo, they have. And I mean, ANYTHING. They poke fun at themselves a bit, but the whale hanging from the sky is a sad reminder of what these people are really interested in. One warning: the rifle section sells like pee. I think because they sell loads of it. The prices are a little insane, but like I said, Dad loves this stuff. So for the time being, I'll be coming back for gifts. Thankfully, their service is great, and the parking lot is big enough to accommodate even the Christmas shoppers. read more

I'm 100% female, but I felt like SUCH A MAN at this Bass Pro Shops location! I don't even know if words can describe how amazing this store is. Even "store" isn't appropriate for this place! Imagine an IKEA-sized store that only carries hunting, fishing, camping, etc. merchandise and equipment... throw in live animals (much like an aquarium), food options, a bar/lounge, a shooting game area, a nature trail with a cranberry bog, and children's activities... and you have the Foxborough Bass Pro Shops! All of the fun stuff aside, it is still a fully-functioning sporting goods store. You can get guns and ammo (as well as get your hunting and fishing license on site!), a new ATV, learn how to winterize your boat, buy a 12-person tent, compound bows and crossbows, decor for your home, and some really high-quality and attractive (although somewhat expensive) clothes. The staff, surprisingly, wasn't pushy at all. I think only one person asked us if we needed help, and quickly went away when we told him we didn't. Our cashier was extremely slow, but that's no fault to the store and her friendliness made up for it. Parking is a breeze, and there is even a shuttle that will take you between the Bass Pro Shops and Patriots Place. I wish I lived closer to Foxborough so I could go here all the time. We'll definitely be back to get our bows... and to play in the shooting gallery, of course! read more

I went here again this weekend, of course with my pup! They are always friendly and quick to offer him a treat; he loves it here! But I wanted to give a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to Vinnie working at the hunting counter. I am completely new to shooting and have never owned a firearm. He walked me through the Pros and Cons of each hand gun; never pressured me to buy anything. Finally I settled on a small .22 which is for my wife and I as home protection... nothing major or expensive. But Vinnie spent over an hour with me after the purchase, explained each piece of the gun, taught me the difference in ammo, and would not let me walk out of that store until I was 10000% confident in my purchase. I went to the Range last night to test it out and my man Vinnie was spot on with everything he said. Thank you again, I absolutely love this store!!!! read more

I was skeptical at first since I'm a city girl, but they do really have everything you could need for outdoors...They even have a pretty kickass collection of hot sauces! This place carries everything from apple pie scented candles to guns. There's a lot to do. The Customer Service is almost second to none...and was almost if not as good as LL Bean and Land's End. Everyone was helpful, welcomed me when I walked into the store...and people said Hi as I was walking around. This place is INSANE... I tagged along with a friend who was looking for goodies for an upcoming ice fishing trip... I don't know too much about fishing, hunting, and wildlife in general, but was entertained for the few hours I spent there. Fish tanks, waterfalls, a BAR... yes, there was a bar tucked away on the first floor. Sweet. I did go back the very next day and picked up pink camouflage PJ's and a North Face fleece. Not too pricey, awesome customer service... And an Off-Broadway Shoe warehouse right next door. Doesn't get much better! read more

This place is a great one stop outdoors store. The people in the fishing department are familiar with the local fishing spots and great at giving advice on lures, etc. They have great camping, hunting, fishing, and clothing items. Inside they have a large fish tank where you can see some of the local fish you might be able to catch in the area and there is also an arcade style shooting gallery that is a lot of fun. The only down side I would say is also one of the great things about the store, it's size. If you are not someone who likes big crowds or large stores than this is definitely not the place for you. The line for santa was insane got here at 1230 got a ticket for 330... after standing in line for some minutes, I was handed a pass for a 100 and was able to scoot right through... Really the only reason we come is for Santa, but the store would probably be worth a trip any time of year as there is always things for kids to do! read more

This place is so cool. Bring your family, bring the dog! The dead animals everywhere makes me sad for like a minute, it's a hunting kinda store so it's expected. The general store has lots of fun stuff like marinades and sweet snacks. The shooting gallery is pretty fun too and since it's not real you won't shoot yer eye out. Free pics with Santa during the holiday season and free crafts for the kiddos. I believe they have a restaurant here but I haven't tried it, but will (then I'll update review). Lots of quirky gifts for giving or for yourself. Oh and if you like Jerky, they've got tons of it. They've got Gadgets and gizmos aplenty, whoozits and whatzits galore. Ya want Thingamabobs? When you enter the building you are greeted with a beautiful fire place, cozy couches and a warm smile. I love that in every corner there is something to see. The taxidermy, the old fishing equipment, hunting equipment, the fish tanks, turtle area... They have really made it interesting for both the young and old. It is very noticeable that the store is designed to draw specific individuals to different areas...ie: right outside the fish/ turtle pond are the kids fishing supplies. I think though that this makes it more interesting to the families and give us ideas for our daughter. Our favorite thing about TBPS is Santa's Village. It is so pretty and unique and the closest to what I would think of as a real Santa's Village. Santa himself is a "jolly ol'elf" and so really loves his job and all the kids. The set up to actually get in to see Santa is a royal pain the bum. You have to take a ticket and wait until your time slot is called. Sometimes they give you a time slot for an hour and a half after you arrive, and there is no line. It is overly coordinated which makes it frustrating. Personally I am not a hunter, boater or fisher so I come more for the home-goods and nostalgia. In all I am very impressed with the store itself. read more

I'm totally not into fishing or hunting. We went here for clothing- we were on a hunt for plaid shirts. This place had so many plaid shirts it was crazy. Also they were much cheaper than some stores we had previously bought from. The place is neat, totally decked out in wilderness scenery. Our cashier was friendly! Nice place to spend some time. It's like a mini museum. They have so many "dead" animals on display. They have a large fish tank you can watch fish from an underwater view. They have a shooting game which is really fun. They also have a little cafe that sells snacks and delicious fudge. A wide variety of clothing, toys, boats, fishing, hunting, camping equipment and much much more. I also so a bar. You can walk out back on a trail with a cranberry bog. This place is cool to visit.
