Upon entering, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and offered me water and or tea while explaining the process. Christina approached me immediately, and it was evident that she genuinely enjoys her work and attentively listens to her clients. I shared my concerns and past experiences, and she responded with expertise and thoroughness. Her explanations were clear, and her touch was incredibly gentle. I called and they said they'd cancel it. Then later they sent me a reminder for my appointment so I texted the text line (it was after hours at that point) to make sure they actually canceled it, they didn't. Short story, they harassed me at work the next day MULTIPLE times, about not having it on file that I canceled, had the nerve to ask me for screen shots of my call log to prove I called etc, I said sure! Then they went silent for several hours, then emailed me saying they were going to "wave the cancelation fee" WHAT CANCELLATION FEE?! I literally canceled more than 24 hours in advance therefor there was no cancellation fee to wave?? They have the worst customer service, so glad I didn't give my money to a place with such horrible organization and customer service! Don't let them scam you!

My hair was blonde, but it was not severely damaged as you are explaining I came in to dye my hair, a darker color and I showed you the photo. I wanted to light brown and we chose those colors together you chose the color not me. I agreed with the color that you chose, you put the color on my hair you mix the dye you did all that I trusted you as a professional. I am astonished that you cannot take responsibility for your work, and it is disappointing to say the least that you would publicize your lack of responsibility. It's been months my hair is something I look at everyday and I have spent hundreds of dollars on multiple wigs just to feel good about myself. Melin took advantage of my trust and she deceived me when I was nothing but extremely friendly and nice. I wish I never accepted her request and if you are considering trusting Melin please save yourself because she took my self image and stepped all over it. It will take a very long time for my hair to recover but it hopefully will. I highly recommend anyone considering coming to Melin to avoid at all costs DO NOT trust Melin.

It wasn't work-related, and I felt completely ignored. As a paying customer, I expected at least to be acknowledged instead of feeling like I was interrupting a conversation. During my appointment, she also asked whether I had been getting my brows done somewhere else and where I had gone. I found those questions unnecessary and unprofessional. I even asked for advice on my eyebrows, hoping for some guidance, but my question was brushed off and I didn't really get an answer. The actual service took about three minutes, + 10 min tint. and unfortunately the brow tint didn't turn out well. It looked very blocky and uneven instead of natural. I expect businesses to be welcoming and treat their clients with kindness and attention. Repeat customers are what keep a business going, and good customer service is just as important as the service itself. Unfortunately, I left feeling unwelcome, rushed, and disappointed with both the experience and the results.
