UPDATE: The business responded And I want to clarity! First, I want to correct something in your response: I never asked for a haircut below my shoulders. I specifically asked for my hair to be cut over my shoulders, so please do not misrepresent what I requested. Second, I found it very uncomfortable and inappropriate that your response mentioned having photos and videos of me during my appointment. I never gave consent for my experience to be used in a way that feels threatening or to imply that my personal review is invalid because I was polite during my visit. Although I remained polite during the appointment, I did express concern and even told the stylist that my hair was cut too short. Being respectful in the moment does not mean I was happy with the final result. After getting home and properly seeing and styling my hair, I was even more disappointed. Also, when I called regarding pricing for a haircut, it was never clearly explained that a wash and blowout would be separate charges. Communication and transparency about what is and is not included are important, and unfortunately that was not made clear to me. My review reflects my honest experience as a paying client, and I have every right to share how I felt about it. So please don't try to threaten me. During my visit, I was subjected to racially insensitive and hurtful remarks by staff who said I was 'not really Indian' and rudely commented that I looked Mexican. When I confronted them, they brushed it off. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their values and customer service. Update: I was called by the owner and asked to remove this review because it was "bad for business" to which I said "blatant racism is bad for business?" And she agreed. I won't be taking this down. Being racist towards your customers and then only feeling remorseful when a review is written shows everything everyone needs to know about you and your character. read more

I've been seeing Roya for 5 years, it wasn't until her sister Malika... I'm not sure if I'm spelling her name right. But the last 3 times I had my eyebrows done by Roya's sister Malika. She cut me up bad and deep. For the 3rd time in a row. I mentioned it to Roya and she did mention it to her sister in front of me to not do that again and to be careful... Malika didn't really acknowledge Roya. I went back a few days ago hoping to see Roya... it was her sister. I told myself I'd give her one more chance... and again she ended up leaving me with cuts on my face that are scabs now. I love Roya. Roya is the best. But if you go here please ask personally for Roya and avoid Malika until she gets more practice... You might risk getting your eyebrows cut if done by her. read more

Roya is the best went it comes to eyebrow threading. She is consistent and always does a great job (which I can't say for other places I've been to). She works extremely fast. She's open Tuesday-Friday from 9:00-6:00, Saturday 9:00-6:00, Sunday 9:00-5:00. Closed Mondays. She works on an only walk-in basis, so she doesn't do appointments. She can get busy at times. Best to come early on weekdays. There is street parking available and a parking lot in back. She accepts Venmo, cash app, zelle, and square. Cash is preferred, obviously. read more

Uneven Tint. Wanted lighter in the front of the brows but she made it look blocky like it was 2016. Do not get tinted here. I look like somebody's grandma dipped into eyeshadow and drew two boxes on her face. On top of that brows look like distant cousins not sisters or twins. read more

Roya eyebrow's threading was located inside a hair salon. She takes walk-ins, so it can get crowded if you come at a wrong time. I beat the rush, but there were 5 people that came right after me. She has chairs for you to sit and wait. The eyebrow threading only cost $12. I had my brows tinted with henna and threaded, which cost $30 total. My brows weren't quite even, so I took off one star. She takes Venmo, Zelle, square and cash, but no credit card. read more

The eyelash technician recommended that to "complete my look" I should get my eyebrows shaped up next door and I happily obliged. When you walk in, Roya greats you with a term of endearment that instantly makes you smile. She's so warm and kind and she always talks you through what she's going to do and the results are exactly what you ask for. I only get my eyebrows done and it cost $12 to do so. I have been going to Roya for a few months now and I have always loved her service. Until this last time, I walked in and waited after 3 people for my turn. Before it was my turn, another girl walked in and it was clear she knew her very well. When it was my turn she apologized to the girl who walked in after saying I came in first. Which clearly didn't make me feel like a valued client. Then, I have been wanting my eyebrows to get evened out for a while but I have never requested it and I was planning to do it this time. I asked her, and she just rushed through the threading. After she was done, she told me to get off the chair so she can clean it. Usually, she gives you a mirror and aloe Vera to alleviate the redness. So she rushed me off the chair without even seeing my eyebrows. I ended up Venmoing her with no tip and she stopped me before I left to see if I had paid? Weird because she was rushing me out, then chasing after to see if I paid.
