I had an appointment for a full facial today at 1pm and showed up 10 mins early. They didn't have my appointment down and insisted I show them the number I called. I pulled out my phone and showed them so they said they will prepare a room for me and to give them 10-15 mins. I waited until 1:25 and she comes out and asks me to reschedule for next week because they were too busy to get me in. I don't know why she didn't tell me that from the get go. I wasted 25 mins driving there and 25 mins waiting for them to tell me to reschedule. If I wasn't on a lunch break I wouldnt have minded as much but it was a waste of time read more

I've been here a number of times. The service is normally okay. This review is specifically for the older woman. I've experienced her service twice now. She's cut me both times. This most recent time was the worst. I've never been cut before during a threading session. She is so rough with hair removal and moving your face, grabbing your hands, etc. She left so many stray hairs. I truly couldn't believe it. I didn't want to argue, so I paid and left. I'm furious and so disappointed. I'd give this review negative stars if I could. My eyebrows are completely uneven, way too thin, and missing entire sections. I've been getting my brows threaded for over 10 years and have never had such a painful, careless experience. No one was even at the front when I walked in -- that should've been my warning to walk away. The lighting is horrible. The threading hurt more than usual, and now my brows look awful. To top it off, I broke out in hives around my eyes afterward. This place used to be decent, but the hygiene still seems questionable -- chairs aren't wiped down at all or not thoroughly between clients. I've had to ask to get a paper towel placed under my head before starting the service. Or I'll wear a hoodie and put the hood up so there's something between my head and the oil and dirt from previous clients. Eyebrows shape your whole face, and mine are ruined right before the holidays. I'll never come back here again. Save yourself the anger and frustration of having your eyebrows ruined. read more

My review for Prabha is overdue. On two separate occasions, her threading left me with painful cuts and deep scars. She tends to be heavy-handed and continues to work on the same area even after all the hair has been removed. There was a significant language barrier, so despite my specific request for her to be gentler and avoid going over the same area repeatedly, she didn't seem to understand. The pricing is excellent, and I've always had positive experiences with the other staff members. Please note that I only visit for upper lip and chin services. read more

I was in the mall and needed my eyebrows threaded so I checked them out on Yelp and they have pretty good ratings. I normally don't like bouncing around to different threading places but my usual ladies were already booked for the day. The lady who threaded my brows was really nice and efficient. She moved swiftly and I didn't even really have time to feel any pain. She made it so that I barely flinched at my hairs being plucked. The only downside is this is the first time I've been cut by a thread so I don't know that I'll be back. It's a small thing, but it makes a difference when I've never been cut in the last 3 years since I've started getting my eyebrows done. Overall, a good experience and would recommend if they went a little easier to prevent cuts. read more

My fiancée came here to get her eyebrows threaded. We came on a Sunday night like 30 minutes before closing and they still allowed her to check in. Before they get you to lay down, they'll disinfect the area first so that's always good. The process took about 10-15 minutes and my fiancée liked how it came out. I am so sad and disappointed that I went to this place. I regret ever going there, I was around the Northridge mall and I needed my brows done asap, I could not go to my eyebrow lady in Sun Valley. The vibe of the place is alright. The ladies just seem a bit quiet. I asked for my brows to just be trimmed from the excess. I INSISTED that I do not like my brows to be thin. I showed the lady my picture of how I wanted them done. Needless to say, they did not listen to me and now my eyebrows are so thin I gave gone to another eyebrow lady who is working with me to get my brows to look like before. If i can give a zero rating i would, Rude and false advertising. They have photos of crazy beautiful henna designs. The workers there said they weren't the best at it so they suggested me to come in the next day to get it done by another lady, who "knows" how to do it. I came in the next day. And she told me she was able to do my design. Held the photo up for her to look at as a reference while she was doing it. Came out horrible. nothing like the picture. The henna was clumpy and looked old . I actually laughed looking at it. the photo i showed had stars... STARS... she put crosses and dots everywhere ... and she did whatever she pleased. I went here off a whim, and I'm so glad I did! It's location isn't in the best area, it is located underneath the escalator, across from F21 by Sears. I went here at 10am on a Thursday morning and Krishna did a great job on my brows. I have some bad scarring on one of my eyebrows, but the right person is able to make it look almost non-existent, which she did! After the threading she applied aloe vera with heavy pressure -- almost like she was massaging the brow area, and I left with minimal redness. I love going to Babi Threading. All the ladies that work there do a great job and it's really inexpensive compared to other threading kiosks and spots. I like my eyebrows as thick as possible and nicely shaped. So weather I got for just a simple clean up or after growing my eyebrows out they do exactly what I requested . The ladies that work there are super sweet and are gentle. They accept cash or card it's located on the first floor behind the escalator I front of Forever21. I've been coming her for a very long time now and i am in a loss for words. long story short the lady that was doing my eyebrows had absolutely no idea what she was doing and I looked over to see that the other lady that usually does my eyebrows was there and I asked her if she could do them or help her. they looked at each other and made faces and continued to talk with each other and never spoke to me. I kept having to ask her to hand me the mirror and help her with my shape, she kept saying she knew what she was doing. when she was done I looked into the mirror to find my eyebrows messed up and I'm not one to complain but this whole entire situation couldve been prevented and handled a lot better. it was very upsetting that even when I asked them they were rude about it. very disappointed. read more

Absolutely amazing! I rarely get my eyebrows done because of the pain! So I tried it and the lady who helped me, I didn't get her name but she does amazing work and after the eyebrow she puts some type of gel and gives you a tiny little massages that gives you tingles! This was my second visit to this business for eyebrow threading. I stumbled upon it by happy accident when I was at the Northridge Fashion Center running another unrelated errand. It was perfect timing, as I was on the hunt for a different threader. My threader at the time had taken off most of my eyebrows on my last visit, and I was too nervous to return. I cannot receive eyebrow waxing, as I get insane allergic reactions afterwards. Sugaring is an alternative, but so few places offer it in my area. Threading services also aren't as easy to find as waxing, so it's been a tough search to find a good one. The ladies here are very nice and do an amazing job. They listen to you when you express how you prefer to have them done (style, thickness, etc.) After your brows are finished, they press with their fingers, putting equal pressure on various points on and around your brows. It's one of the most soothing things I've felt in a long time. Amazing close to the experience. Highly recommended. If you have a tough time locating them, they are positioned underneath the escalators on the first floor of the mall (Northridge Fashion Center), right outside Sears and Forever 21. read more

She did not want to change gloves in between clients!!! I witnessed her do a lady's eyebrows cash her out and then grab the thread ready to touch my face. I asked her to change gloves and she put hand sanitizer on, on top of the gloves! What?! I had to ask her again to PLEASE change her gloves. After asking three times she finally did it. Is that too much to as given the rapid spread of the Coronavirus? Then I asked her to clean up my eyebrows and keep them thick. I look in the mirror when she's done. THE THINNEST EYEBROWS I HAVE EVER SEEN. I'm sooo upset I spent 3 months growing out my brows to fuck them up so bad?? do not go here!!
