I purchased ice cream from Baskin-Robbins around 6:30pm. As I was nearing my last bite, I encountered a hard object while chewing. Upon further inspection, I discovered it felt sharp and resembled a piece of nail. Fortunately, I chew my food thoroughly. I subsequently contacted Baskin-Robbins to speak with the manager, who informed me that in order to verify the origin of the nail, I would need to provide a photograph of the nail in the ice cream. I found this request perplexing, as it would be impractical to scrutinize every scoop while enjoying my ice cream. I clarified that my intention for contacting them was not to seek reimbursement, but rather to ensure that they inspect the Pistachio Almond and Pistachios Chocolate ice cream bins to prevent potential harm to other customers. The manager's response was that they would monitor the situation, and failed to express gratitude for my notification. I am sharing this experience in the event that other customers who had similar experiences with this issue will speak up. Incidentally, I can confirm that the nail did not belong to me, as I had my nails done on Monday. read more
