We were in Waipahu so after a quick dinner we decided to take advantage of the 31st of the month 31% off deal at the B-n-R in the area. Service was great - hubby and I were served by two different young men and each was very friendly and courteous. The odd thing was we both ordered a double scoop in a cup and got different sized cups. He also asked for a cover but didn't get one. Maybe they were out? But no matter. U tried the chocolate / pistachio - take off on the Dubai like chocolate that is popular now. Taste was fine, but pistachios were not crunchy. So not something I'll order again but at least I tried it. Got my usual go to of sugar free caramel turtle something (oops forget the name!) and that was great. Hubby got Rocky road and gold medal ribbon and he was happy. We both were, actually. This loc seems to give larger sized scoops than our usual place so kudos for that. Would definitely come here again is we are in the area. read more

This isn't our usual ice cream stop, but we decided to try it out as we were visiting the outlets. The inside is clean and bright. I especially liked bench-style seating as my toddler can't sit still on chairs. The ice cream is the standard Baskin-Robbins selection. We always keep it simple and take small keiki size. The selection here is smaller than the location we usually go to, but still totally fine. My toddler spotted his beloved blue Cookie Monster ice cream and was happy. They do have outdoor seating, but it faces straight into the parking lot, so it's not exactly "sit and relax with a view." read more

Waikele BR - each store is independently owned so I'm guessing that their to go ice cream & cakes may differ from store to store. So are the prices. This location prices are higher than the Windward one. And how is that other scoop 2 scoop ice cream in a small cup, literally stacking 2 scoops in a cup like I'm eating a cone. read more

Stopped by for a quick dessert and had a really good experience. I went with the eggnog and butter pecan combo, and both flavors were on point. The eggnog was rich and creamy with a nice seasonal flavor that wasn't overpowering, and the butter pecan added a smooth, buttery contrast with a good amount of crunch from the pecans. Service was quick and friendly, the shop was clean, and the ice cream tasted fresh. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for--simple, classic, and well done. I'd definitely come back when I'm craving ice cream. read more

By far the biggest scam ever. I downloaded the app because as it says on their window if you download the app you get a free scoop on them so I do the process and get everything squared away only to find out that I can't receive a scoop on the house and to top it off the employees working this day knew about it. So for me if they knew that I would have taken that sign down. All in all okay service I just didn't like the false advertisement smack dab in the front of their entrance. read more

Came here with some friends after having lunch at a Restaurant Kunio, which was a few doors away. I got their Butter Pecan on a cake cone, since it was a bit wider to help carry the big scoop I got. If you get it on a sugar cone, be careful to balance it in between your licks. We were here in a Monday around 2pm, & the service here was great! The young girl was very patient & nice. I will also say that we were eating our ice cream in the shop, talking story, and I noticed that the young girl was working hard when no other customers were in; cleaning up the place. I hope the owner appreciates her. Wish we got her name. read more

Wonderful, friendly staff. Always very clean. Nice and cold inside. BR is the best ice cream and this location is excellent.

Took da kids hea after chilis even though we was stuffed was always a favorite as a keiki. Great customer service!

TLDR; I suggest to not spend your money or time here. Never again would I support this business or Baskin-Robbin's and l don't suggest anyone else visit here unless you can afford the extra costs it takes to be happy here; the patience required and melted down ice cream after forking over your money. If you're trying to buy their pre packed ice cream, forget about it. Doing a big order for the family at home and expecting it to be not melted? forget about it. Want to get that promo 31% off scoops on the 31st of the month? Dont think about just popping in the store and getting it hassle free. & Don't forget your phone and to have downloaded the BR Rewards app before the 31st, bc you need that coupon downloaded onto your phone And then order through the app. And guess what- if you were a BR member but haven't used the app for a while, you have to register again bc they have a new system that doesn't remember your account- even if you still get the same BR emails. And yes- I read the email, there was no specifications besides not being offered on delivery. Pricing and participation varies, which means either the store honors it or doesn't. But apparently it's the company that wants ppl to use the app and yet can't afford to put it on their marketing emails. Went there twice, got melting ice cream twice, had to wait until the employees bothered to look away from each other both times, so naturally I use the customer support line to follow up and ask for the gratuity charges from the 1st visit to be refunded back to me. Why? Bc I let the near lecture from an employee go on the 1st visit. The 2nd time ticked me off bc they don't help more than 1 customer (solo or in a group) at a time. So I stood with 4 quarts waiting as the 2nd person in line. The guy in front of me had his lil family of 4, ordered and stood staring at the cashier. Cashier didn't even notice there's more than 1 customer in a store-even tho it's small and only me and that group in front of me. The other 2 employees working on their order and I literally had to speak up for assistance. He even saw how the order was taking longer than it should've and that I was standing with ice cream quarts in my arms, getting cold and frustrated. I reach out to BR Care/CS and they reach out to the mgr and they say they can't do it since there's no way in the BR POS system, so they offered me ice cream scoops instead. For what, so it can be melted and I'd have to deal with their employees and their lackadaisical attitudes? BR CS also offered their BR $10 gift card and I declined that too. There's better options nearby so I will be choosing to make sure I never purchase from Baskin Robbin's again. Yes- I am livid at this company for multiple reasons. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. Trying to fool me for a 3rd time to get back into that store to make a purchase and support this business?- I don't think so. read more

Located in the Waikele shopping center. I stopped in to purchase a ice cake to celebrate Friday! As I looked into the ice cream cake display case the friendly sales associate (Richard) asked me if I needed help. I said to him I'm looking for a cookies & cream ice cream with vanilla cake. He then came over helped me to see if there was any in their display. He then said he'll take a look in the back. He asked me if I'm looking for a specific color, if it's for a boy or girl? I told him no it's just for me to celebrate Friday! He then came out with the cake that's in my photo. Asked me if that one was okay? I said yes I'll take it! Then asked, Do you want anything written on the cake too? I felt very valued as a customer. He took the time and helped me to find the ice cream and cake flavor I had came in for. Came here yesterday .. My first time in this location.. long story short shout out to the girl working .. she was kind and friendly she was the the second person to help me while her male co worker helped me first but let's say he wasn't HAPPY and def NOT one smile .. I had to say excuse me like once or twice for him to look up at me tho he was right in front of me ..least to say he seemed bothered to help me .. bothered when he was ready to ring me up I needed a tiny bit more time to check out the pints .. HE WAS NOTHING LIKE their shirt says something about happy or smiling . Iono.. he was a bummer a vibe killer . He did seem to perk up a little when I left a small tip (hope the girl at least gets some of the tips) Probably didn't expect me to leave anything .. Thanks to the girly for helping :) she's the reason I left anything tip wise . I have another location closer to me ... So really if I wasn't just next door from this baskin robins .. even if this one looks wise is nicer then the one closer to me .. I wouldn't go outta my way to come here again.. but if I do hope this girl is working! I come for the ice cream of course but what's the point of being around or having to deal with vibe killers... read more

This 31+ flavors of cold goodness has been around while my kids were growing up and outlived many other shops like TCBY. Over the years I loved Jamoca Almond fudge. We've enjoyed decorated ice cream cakes too. Every now and then I'd visit here bypassing Jamba & Starbucks next door to each other at the Town center of Mililani, each outstanding in their own way. Recently I've discovered Mangonada. It tastes like childhood memories of the Haden mango tree in my parents' yard and the Pirie I adored which were prized and hard to get. This concoction has a reddish flavoring akin to li hing powder to my tastebuds but by itself...powerful and passable to me. I was particularly thirsty and asked hubs to get me one with just plain mango while I stayed in the car with our fur bebe. He came out of this Waikele branch and said they can make a mango and ice smoothie or a mango banana and ice cream version. I chose the pure mango with ice, in the largest size. I'm a fan of mango lassi but this mango with ice smoothie is the MOST refreshing and hits the spot. Better than chocolate cake, moscato, or mocha Frappuccino!!! I could do the happy dance it's SO cold, yummy and didn't give me a brain freeze. I drank it to the last drop. read more

With this being surrounded by restaurants, I mean, it makes sense to come here afterwards for some dessert right?! Just as we did, after eating at Genkis a few stores down. Customer service is ok, we were greeted upon entering also asked if we were ready as soon as we got to the front. My son ordered the turtle sea creature icecream cup, with cotton candy icecream and a side of cherries (extra charge) we were pretty disappointed because it says it comes with a FREE turtle crown and we didn't get any. My son realized he didn't get his crown after we left and its pretty sad that the workers didn't stop to think that they should've gave him one without us having to ask for it. I got the Trick Oreo Treat in a dipped sugar cone, they were nice enough to offer me a cup to put it in. Sad to say that when I tried to lift my cone up from the cup my cone broke I ended up having to dip my cone to scoop my icecream out with. It's fine, my fault. I should've not say yes to a cup. LOL. Parking gets busy, as there are alot of different businesses around. Gotta love Baskin-Robbins for their icecream, really no complains there. You get great icecream everytime. read more

Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful cake only issue is it's not what I ordered. My daughter is picky & only eats vanilla ice cream so I ordered a princess cake with vanilla cake & vanilla ice cream tell me why I received a vanilla cake with cookies & cream. I called & spoke to an employee he told me his manager would be reaching out & she did. She said sorry the person who made the cake the night before was rushing & since both ice creams are close in color he scooped the wrong one & that she would give me a quart of vanilla ice cream on the house. My daughter refused to eat the $68 cake I bought for her 2nd birthday & just fed it to our guest. How is a quart going to fix this? This is totally unacceptable. I put in the order a week prior so why was the person who made the cake rushing? I paid to receive what I ordered not something completely different. My 2 year old couldn't even enjoy her birthday cake because it's not what she wanted. I am so LIVID! read more

There's two theories in place here: Your ice cream flavor choice is a reflection of who you are and YOU are what you eat. Hmmmm... well, here's how I chose my post lunch sweet ending. The junior member of our group led us here with her ice cream craving so what else could we do. What started as just one person became more than half of our party partook in having a sweet palate cleanser. Some of us wandered the cabinets searching for that one or two flavors while our leader and I hung out in the sherbet section. Before you knew it, we both ordered a single scoop of Wild 'N Reckless on a sugar cone (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Nn_6Qso0wiEYT19QUERjkA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); the flavor description reads green apple, blue raspberry, and fruit punch (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=asno8apXlzXScQmYAvEBCg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). The variety of flavors made this the most interesting and unique (don't believe you'll see this at any other ice cream store). Another factor that had an equal influence was the 130 calorie count per serving (lowest of the sherbet choices). Though I enjoyed the color assortment visually, I must admit that I couldn't find any of those distinct flavors shining as my sherbet disappeared. The girl who helped us was very patient and kind as we placed our orders. We sat in the center area of the store which gave us an opportunity to enjoy their amusing wallpaper (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=9Z18FlHeqHVv8YY4mVUNWg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). Nice way to end a shopping morning and delicious neighbor lunch trip. read more

I am very disappointed with this location. I've been coming here since 2004 but today could not be more disappointed. We ordered a single scoop cup and two double scoop cup. I have been coming to this Baskin & Robbins for years now (since it opened in Waikele years and years ago)! That Hepatitis A episode last year ain't got nothing on this awesome ice cream joint! That situation was completely out of their control. Main thing is the place looks fresh like it got some updates (new tables/chairs, flooring) along with the deep cleaning they did as a result of that health crisis. The workers here have always been nice and do their jobs well. I love ice cream and I have my favorites here. I usually get the Jamoca Almond Fudge, Rocky Road or Mint Chocolate Chip. Now, they also do custom ice cream sandwiches where you can pick your cookies (from 5 varieties) and ice cream which is totally cool!! I picked he triple chocolate cookie and dark chocolate chunk cookie with a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream in the middle. I don't regret this at all, as it was such a yummy dessert!! I'm a big fan of this place because I love Ice Cream. I always get the smoothies or sundaes. With the smoothies you can pick whatever ice cream and just tell them what you feel like. On the 31st of the Month they have a special. Don't want to give you the wrong information but it's very reasonable so go check out 31st of the Month. Be aware it may be busy because of the scoop special. If you're a coffee love go try the blast drinks. It's very delicious for the people who love coffee. Always ask for recipe because they offer special on the bottom for the following week and the certain locations. I know you all want to save some money. Also each month they also have flavor of month, go try and don't be afraid. LOL. My favorite is jamoca (coffee flavor) and cookie and cream. There's oreo inside the cookie and cream. They also have complimentary water, for those who likes to drink ice water after a ice cream. For some reason, it taste good lol. This location seems to have lots of not so happy workers. The most recent experience included no smile, no greeting, no thank you, and one spoon. Hello, I ordered a big ol' 'Brownie' sundae for me and my daughter, and we'd like our own spoons. I can deal with the $5.96 price tag, but I have a hard time with poor service.
