I am writing this as a member of the wedding party who had to watch the heartbreaking fallout of Bite Size 808's utter failure. A wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone. The couple trusted you six months in advance, excited to support a local business. Instead of being a special addition to their celebration, your business became a source of avoidable stress and deep disappointment. Delivering food over an hour late--when the venue was already closing and guests were leaving--completely ruined the late-night experience they spent months planning. You didn't just deliver food late; you entirely wasted their hard-earned money and robbed them of a special moment with their guests. What is most shameful, however, is your cowardice afterward. Taking a couple's money and then actively ignoring their emails and reading their Instagram messages without replying is incredibly unprofessional. It shows a complete lack of conscience. You botched someone's wedding day and then chose to hide from the consequences because you already got paid. If you have any integrity left, you should feel deeply embarrassed by how you treated this couple. I strongly warn anyone against trusting this business with an event they actually care about. read more

I experienced Bite Size 808's foods at a festival recently. The lumpia I tried were excellent and the butter mochi was very good. There was a problem with my order and Bite Size 808 reached out and pre-emptively took care of the issue. That speaks volumes to me about their responsiveness to customers and I appreciated it. I found BS808 at the farmer's market in Mililani. This particular FM was on a Friday evening situated in the parking lot of the old Jack in the Box, next to American Savings Bank. I purchased dried PB marshmallow snacks, and made to order deep fried oreo's. I noticed only a single burner to deep fry one order at a time, and because my order was the 3rd in line, with about 10-15 minutes per order, I waited about 40 minutes. Totally worth it to have it freshly prepared! I don't have any photos of our actual order because my son devoured everything. He is a tough critic, and said it was good. read more

Complete rip off I bought 2 brownies & 1 butter mochi, the total came out $42!!for 4 literal bite sized pieces. Brownies tasted old box brownies that sat out in a pan for days before being cut and the butter mochi had a cake like consistency instead of mochi. $6 for a container would be a more reasonable price especially because of the quality. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The first time I ordered from them, I waited in my car for almost 45 minutes before they brought out my poi mochi and banana lumpia. I decided to give them another chance because their pick up location was convenient for me. WORST IDEA!! I ended up with no poi mochi, no banana lumpia, and NO REFUND! We were waiting for 20 minutes in the car and they were not responsive AT ALL. We ordered for Super Bowl and were about to miss the start of the game. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I made 2 separate orders (one for favors and one for desserts for dessert table) so I had 2 separate pick up days. The first order the owner texted me 15 minutes before my scheduled pick up time telling me she was not ready and I would need to come back in the evening 3 hours later to pick up my order. The second order she did the same thing. My scheduled pick up time was for 7:45am and she texted me at 7:30am asking what time I am picking the desserts up. I was already on my way and ended up sitting in my car for an hour waiting for them to bring it out!! On top of all that the desserts weren't even good. Saw them at a food fair. It was $5 for 3 deep fried Oreos that didn't taste like it was MADE TO ORDER. It tasted like it was sitting out for some time, very tough to bite on the batter. The worst customer service, I always try to support local but this company no more Aloha. Set up a time for pick up and they're always late and don't respond to text messages and no apologies or consideration for our schedules and dont even bother to apologize or come out to keep us posted on how much longer it will be. Bite Size does have really delicious candy but if you are considering ordering from them and picking it up at their house, keep in mind that you'll have to wait very long in order to get your candy. This was my 4th time ordering from them however the service was completely unprofessional. I let her know that I was on my way and she confirmed that she was on her way to her house. However, I ended up waiting for 40 minutes and she did not reply to any of my questions about when she was coming until one of her workers came! This has happened to me twice but I let it go the first time. I recommend paying just before you get the candy instead of paying in advance. Keep in mind that you'll have to wait a long time if you're not buying the candy and goods from a food fair. Save your time and order some place else! read more
