I've been going since I was like a kid and love how this place is still around and every time I come in, memory lane hits me. This place will always be the place if I ever want the cappuccino blast or just a regular Oreo cookies and cream ice cream. I also go here for the quarts, their ice cream is just creamy and rich. I know Baskin-Robbins is a franchise (and not like a mom and pop indie shop), but this location of BR is just so good, I had to write this review. I've been coming to this location since 2015, and of all the other BR locations I've been to (in Orange County, other parts of California, other states, airports, and even other countries), this location has always been the hands-down best. The people who work here that I've encountered are always very helpful and kind. (Most recently they hunted down a flavor that they thought they didn't have, and then gave me an extra large scoop of it!) Even the owner (I'm pretty sure) opened the store for me before opening time because I desperately needed to pick up a gift card for a friend. Everyone here is polite, professional, and pleasant, and they just seem to want to make sure that you leave happy with your visit. Is it a boutique ice cream parlor? Of course not. My fiancé and I just went in to get some ice cream (obviously) and for 10 minutes we were not greeted nor acknowledged. A line formed after we got there and all 3 guys went to them and ignored us. Then when we finally get helped the guy that helped us was unfriendly, didn't smile at us or anything even when I tried to be nice it seemed as if he was blowing that off. The reason I give 3 stars after that was he became a bit more friendly as we were getting ready to pay, but I had to try hard to get him to smile or be friendly. We have frequented this location for over 30 years and have never had a bad visit! The owner does a great job adding seasonal or flavors of the month but also keeping the favorites. In addition, this location excels because the scoopers are efficient and polite even during the busiest of times. We appreciate having a Baskin-Robbins like this in the neighboorhood. On the far left the ice creams/sorbets are just beautiful, I just love the colors!! The only reason I give this a three star rating is because of its location. It's a pretty small building and it gets really crowded during ANY promotion or even the typical busy times. I used to come here multiple times a week during high school since it was so close. My favorite things to order are shakes, usually chocolate chip or cookie's and cream. Most of the time the shakes come out fine (nice and thick) but some of the baristas(?) make them really watery. Service is always friendly and quick even when during the heavy crowds. I would rate this a three, but I'm giving it a one star boost because they carry they now carry the Dunkin' Doughnuts K-cups. Extremely unprofessional. Not on the end of the workers, but the management! Manager came in cursing and yelling at the poor guy, who seems to be a teenager. The store is critically understaffed. Only two people working the night shift, in spite of a line outside of the store. Having worked at a fast food chain 15 years back, I empathize with the worker. Dreadfully unprepared for the current heat wave. I am in line right now and have been for 20 mins. There are 27 people behind me as I am helped at 9:25pm. 2 workers, 1 of which is not very experienced. They are trying so hard to keep up, remaining respectful and helpful with customers. I am incredibly impatient but I see how hard they're working. I feel terrible for them. Come on management! A Friday night in July on the hottest weekend of the year deserves more attention. Service was definitely not friendly. The person who helped us, Randi, was uber unfriendly and seemed even annoyed to have to help us. We ordered a sundae and they didn't hardly have any fudge left but she thought it was a good idea to give us the curdling dregs from the bottom...why would you do that?! Normally don't have problems here, but when I order Reese's® Peanut Butter Cup and the employee puts Peanut Butter 'N Chocolate instead, they need to retrain their workers. I had to throw out all 3 scoops since the other 2 ended up with the chocolate on them. It was too late to get a friend to drive there again to correct their mistake. Came in last night on new years eve with my wife and was pleased to see a previous employee from a year back. He opened the door for my wife and I , greeted us and treated us with the best hospitality. He even remembered our flavors.
