Simply very sad. Ordered a pint of ice cream and a Sunday. Tip was written in for 10 dollars and the Grub Hub drivers certainly deserve it. They showed up with the Sunday, no pint, but charged my card in full stating they din't have the flavor ice cream I ordered. Asked Gomez why didn't you call and let us know and offer a different favor. Answer was, we're way too busy....Hmmm, a simple call offering a different flavor would've been simple. Called the store and said I will not accept a partial order as I've been charged in full. Now Grub hub is taking a stance and saying because the driver is already there you have to pay. Border line theft, I must say. Charge in full, deliver partial. Refuse partial, no refund. Stay far away from an organisation that operates this way. read more

Absolutely disgusted by the staff at this Baskin Robbins. My elderly mother (who just got out of the hospital across the street) politely asked for ONE sample, and they rolled their eyes and shook their heads like she was a burden. Rude, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. We ended up walking out and they gave us dirty looks and continued shaking their heads at my family. Won't be back...EVER! Shout out to the cake decorator! I ordered a Moana birthday ice cream cake and when I spoke to the cake decorator on the phone I mentioned that I picked that design because of the sand and the water. She mentioned that the standard cake design didn't really look like sand but that she could male it look more realistic by adding crushed graham crackers on top. It turned out beautiful and I really appreciate her going above and beyond for my request. And my daughter loved the cake. Thank you! read more

Service is fine. But wow! The portions are getting smalller and smaller. I understand that the cost of business is going up but at this rate I'll be paying nearly $20 for a 2 scoop in a cup and a 3 scoop sundae. I say nearly $20 because I tip the employees for helping me. The 2 scoop is usually larger because it's not a sundae I'm assuming. The 3 scoop sundae used to be packed so that the lid would smash the whipped cream when put in. The employee might be making them to big, I get it, but now when they put the lid on theres a whole lot of room to spare. I'm sorry but their price is to high for that. So I went and got my yearly Peanut Butter and chocolate milk shake thick. Mmmm I hate how pricey they are these days but I Am a sucker for at least 1a year. I can make them myself but I usually want one when it's extra hot and I'm running around doing errands and what not. I'm always in this area but have yet to go to this location for my shake. Well I know now I wasn't missing anything. The guy who is working right now I didn't catch his name in his early 20's dark hair and glasses is anything but customer service oriented. It was like awkward af trying to just do basic communication w him, I was annoyed at first because he came off extremely rude, I asked for my shake on thicker side not in watery side...he said ok watery side( ok he didn't hear me so I said no on thicker side...no biggie easy enough) but then he seemed puzzled about this. I just let him do his thing but first bothered him about s restroom (I'm ubering and need to use it while I can) "do you guys have a restroom I can use please?" He says nothing and just points down the hall with his hand and finger .. I said. "Umm ok thank you" when I turned down the hall and resched the bathroom he held only his hand out with the key on a blue cloth like string with the bathroom key on it." I took the key and the. Just some my head because it was so abnormal for a place to have employees with this behavior I mean he isn't big on human interaction. Then I asked for whip cream on my shake which Baskin Robbins you should just include and not charge extra for because these shakes are ridiculously priced anyhow and have been for years. And if I'm going to pay this much for a treat I'd like to at least not have to worry someone spit in it ....at the very very least they should come with that peace of mind !!!!! Not so great experience! Came here for dessert with my girlfriend one day. First, they didn't have some of the normal popular classic flavors. They do however have more of the newer more creative flavors. I got the waffle cone $0.70 extra with 2 scoops of ice cream. $6 which is pretty pricey. Of course, the lady working there made a mistake and gave me a scoop of the wrong flavor. So, I asked them about it, and they gave me major attitude and ignored me for a long time. After standing there and then approaching them a second time, one of them finally acknowledged me and went to talk to the store manager to see what to do with the situation. They did end up switching out the wrong one for the right one, but the whole process took a long time and was very unpleasant. The ice cream tasted ok, nothing to rave about. So today I decided to take my boys out for ice cream. Usually we go here, and always get good service but today it was bad. The guy with long hair and glasses had an attitude. He complained about the quart ig ice cream I asked him to pack, like if I wasn't going to pay extra to get it freshly packed. There is an option. Then he said "well I don't see any pre-packed, unfortunately." And then rolled his eyes. Then he packs my quart and to my surprise when I get home, it's packed half way!! Then he complained about having to count the cash I gave him to pay for my ice cream! My total came out to almost 40 dollars so I gave him 8, 5 dollar bills. He looked at the cash and said, "Jesus Christ." It must have been too much work for him to actually use his brain. People like that should not work in customer service. Went today at 10:36 am with my son and the place was still close! It shows that it open at 10:30 am and while looking inside I found the CS sitting, legs on a table and didn't even bother to open. I keep standing to see when they will open specially that I knocked the door, a short guy came from inside few minutes later to open. I left once he opened but I was sure that they saw me. Just went in with my family and I to get some ice cream. We have been coming to this location for many years but today this young lady at the register treated us in such a negative way. Her attitude was not appropriate and not professional. She didn't even greet us when we walked in and we had to wait for her to attend to us. Eventually in a annoyed and angry attitude asked us "What do you want." We had to tell her 3-4 times in a loud manner what we wanted exactly because she didn't care enough to get close to us and help us out. Then when she understood what we wanted. She started recklessly and aggressively throwing the ingredients in the blender in a annoyed mood. I'm not sure if it's because she is in a bad mood or hates her job, but this is not how you treat customers. We left and I believe the manager saw us leave. I hope he talks to the cashier and her negative immature attitude. Edit: We went to the Baskin Robbin on 17th street in Santa Ana and Mrs. Farshid was super nice and attentive with my family and the other customers. No wonder the place is busy! I usually always get a shake when I go to baskin robins. Ordered a medium shake and it was a good 1/1.5 inches worth of shake missing from the top. She could have charged me less but instead , attempted to remake it and. Still managed to be under the "full" medium cup amount. It was almost a little watery for a shake. I have been here three times with my boyfriend the first time they closed at 8:30 when they're supposed to close at nine second time they ran out of milk for milkshakes this time they were out of ice cream, ice cream cones, and softserve ice cream it was ridiculous and so is the management here. You can't go wrong with baskin robins! Their flavors are always great. I love their classics like Jamoca, golden ribbon, strawberry, and chocolate. They are my favorite at any give time. I love 31 flavors because they have flavors of the month! This summer they are on an Oreo kick. Their Oreo n cake batter is delicious. They topped it off with Oreo n chocolate! This is a unique Togos sandwich restaurant because there's also a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop inside. Once you're done with your main meal, you can go to the B-R side for dessert. How convenient! When my O.C. lunch buddy and I worked for the same company in Orange, this would be one of our regular hang-outs during our lunch hour. The food here is decent but nothing special. My favorites from here are the meatball and BBQ beef. They also had a french dip at one time that I really liked. The B-R side had only a limited selection of ice cream and yogurt. I would get a single scoop of ice cream every now and then but not all the time, since 1) I was usually too full from lunch to even entertain having dessert; and 2) Retail ice cream stores tend to charge too much. I'd rather go to Rite Aid and buy my favorite flavor of Thrifty brand ice cream for a lot less. As someone else mentioned, the service here can be hit-and-miss, depending on who's behind the counter that day. Companies that deal with the public on a daily basis REALLY need to train their employees on the lost art of good customer service. It can only help them in the long run. But I digress... Another issue I have with this place is that the parking is quite limited, especially since there are a number of other eating places in close proximity. Sometimes I end up having to go around the corner to the side street behind the building to park. Oh, well--I need all the exercise I can get! read more

Im a regular customer at this place. Ive been going to that location since I was a little girl, but recently I've had horrible customer service. Im not sure why exactly but even the managers have been treating me and my family terribly. I just think they need to check their attitude. No matter what the problem is, you do not argue or yell with a customer. You make it right. I wouldnt take my two year old daughter their anymore. I've seen some of the employees argue in front of children.. i hate to right this review but maybe the manager might see it and hopefully talk to the employees. Who doesn't love ice cream! I was getting my Pastrami fix at Togo's and the 31 flavors were calling me so I had to answer the call, of course. I grew up on Baskin so having it brought a lot of fond memories of my family. This place had all the flavors I like except 1 but they said they had it in the back and brought out the whole tub for me. That's a great customer service! Sunny days call for ice cream but I made the wrong choice. This was supposed to be convenient because it's by my work place but worst decision ever. I love ice cream so much that I can tell when it's new ice cream or a tub that's been sitting there. My two scoops of summer solstice from here was definitely not fresh new ice cream. Next time you think of getting ice cream here I'd tell you to put your money's worth on a grocery tub of ice cream vs. Here.
