Tasty Creme is a small ice cream shop located on Library Road in South Park, very close to the county line. There is a private parking lot, and outdoor seating. The ordering is in a small lobby, but other than that there is no indoor seating or other areas inside. It is open seasonally and closes for the winter. On this visit, we went on a Thursday night in June around 8:30 PM. There were a few other people there, but we did not wait long at all. We did not feel rushed, and were allowed to take our time to look around and order. I am always impressed with the selection that Tasty Creme has in terms of novelty and to-go items. There is a chest freezer that is always stocked with various goodies, sandwiches, pies, and other things. They even have dog treats made in there! It was not super crowded on this day, so we had some time to chat with the girls working. They were all so nice, offered some product suggestions, and overall very friendly. One of the girls was training, and we had the honor of being served her very first cone - which was great. We ordered a few things. I personally got a Small S'mores Flurry with Crunchies added - it was great! Ordered this after a suggestion from the girls who waited on us and glad that I did. Additionally, we ordered a premade dog treat, a Small Chocolate-Dipped Vanilla Cake Cone, and an Oreo Extreme Parfait. Everyone, including our dog, enjoyed their sweet treats. In terms of value, I have always thought this place was a little pricy. But, it really depends on what exactly you order. Also, I discovered on this visit that there is a slight discount offered when paying in cash. For all of our items, I believe it was around $17 with the cash discount applied. They do accept cards though! I would recommend this shop, especially with it being a local small business. The line is usually not long, and you can customize your order however you like. One of the workers was extremely rude, not just to customers but to other employees as well. I witnessed them yelling across the shop at coworkers in a very unprofessional and uncomfortable way. She had on a hoodie, was wearing glasses , and had a bun in her hair. It completely ruined the atmosphere and made it hard to enjoy what should have been a fun treat. The ice cream itself was decent, but the poor customer service made me not want to return. I hope management addresses this issue because no one should have to deal with that kind of behavior, whether they're working there or visiting.

Over the years I got punch cards here hoping to save up for a free cone and I finally got there but was never able to redeem it. I saved the punch cards for a few years until I returned home (been almost 2 years because of Covid). But they would not honor my free cone. It's not a huge deal but if this were my business, I'd just honor it for the loyal customer who obviously has frequented this location over the years. I was not appreciative of the way she told me too, I'm a humiliating tone, "um we haven't accepted punch cards for four years..." I think we will just stick with Dairy Queen from now on unless management makes this right somehow. I'll do my best to contact them but am not going to waste a lot of energy doing it. It's things like this that make you lose loyal customers for life.

I ordered a cone with one scoop of Nutter Butter ice cream (5 stars) and one scoop of Oatmeal Raisin ice cream (4 stars). It cost several dollars. These scoops were a very large size and tasted good to excellent. I enjoyed my ice-cream cone. Some indoor seating was available.
