I have discovered that the blueberry cheesecake creamer is my absolute favorite! The ice cream tastes so fresh and Light! They have a ton of seating surrounding the building and when I go I also see a lot of people hanging around, happy, and having fun! They usually get through the lines pretty quickly though. If you've ever gone to the movies or watched one at home, you've probably put down a few hundred, if not thousands of kernels, many pounds of butter, and a few licks of salt. Now, if you've never been to a place that specializes in popcorn, you are in for a world of flavors you never thought existed. Puppy Chow? Yep. Jalapeno Cheddar? Yup. Thin Mint? Like the Girl Scout's Cookies? Yes! There are almost an endless amount of flavors available at the Great American Popcorn Company. I've been to many places and have seen many flavors of popcorn but today I saw new flavors. Moving on from popcorn, they also have a ton of sodas from companies you've never heard of and they also have plenty of fudge, chocolates and other sweets that'll cure any sweet tooth. The lady behind the counter offered samples of any product they have on display, which is impressive since they have 56,389 items to choose from. During my quick visit there, I sampled some Jalapeno Cheddar popcorn and fell in love. I grabbed a medium-sized bag for about $6. Depending on the flavor, the price can go up for down. I also grabbed some Cookie Dough ice cream and enjoyed that outside where they have some chairs and tables to enjoy your treats. I'm not sure what else to say about this place that isn't pure praise, which might be too sweet for you readers. Ha! It was conveniently located next to my friend's house, so we would walk over and grab something to snack on while playing Magic or video games. Like most other Ice Cream Shacks I have visited, this place offers a big menu for being in a little building. Ice cream, burgers, hot dogs, soda, nachos... it offers pretty much something for everyone. I have always been happy with everything I order and visit it at least once a year. It is a seasonal place, so check before you go if it is near Fall/Autumn. A big bonus if you are 21+ is the liquor store next door. Your kids can get some root beer and you can get some 'adult' root beer at The New Twist! Sadly, I don't have any more photos of Bob's Dairy Dream, as back then, I didn't think I would need them for this blog. But I will post more if I ever take more!

They have QR codes receipts that you scan in order to fill your soda. I'm not sure if you actually need to scan your QR code because it looked like people were able to fill without scanning anything. I would say you should keep your ears perked when they call out an order because sometimes they call out the item and not the order number so someone else might think it's their food. Overall, we loved our burgers and the shakes. Lots of seating area, for the most part clean. All the workers are busy making meals so I wouldn't count on any assistance. The kiosk are super easy to use and they accept cash and card too, which is pretty convenient.

I am currently on a low salt diet and she did her best to accommodate my needs. This place 520 has become our family breakfast on Saturday mornings when we visit. The place is always busy. Sometimes we gotta wait on a table but they usually move pretty quick. On thus trip I talked to the owner as I was paying and told him how good everything was and how far we drove and had to drive home. Oscar is his name and is a great guy. As I was paying he fiddled with the register and as he gave me my change he slipped me a gift card. I was kinda taken back a little and we talked a little more then I went back to the table to finish our coffee to get ready to leave. I got to say the staff here is spot on. Never did we want for anything. The food was great and coffee was delicious. So we pack up the kids and go out to the cars to transfer bags and luggage when I turn around and here comes Oscar the owner. Evidently I dropped the card he had given me. He came right out and we talked a little more to the point I feel we made new friends with each other. I totally recommend eating here. You won't be disappointed.
