I've never had an issue with this Baskin Robins location. It seems as if a lot of their workers are younger but all of which are sweet. I came one hour before close the other day, and it was mildly busy. There were about three workers which seemed like the appropriate amount. My party and I ordered about 5 items, and the worker helping us was very kind and very patient. Personally, I prefer this location rather than the one back in Ewa Beach because of its wait time being less and workers being more efficient and kind. The store seemed very clean as well. Went to pickup our order of ice cream cheesecake for birthday. They opened the box because we asked them to see it. The decoration had fallen over so the guy fixed it. The happy birthday writing was written on the box and not on the cake. Really weird. So we were thinking it's fine. Got home and opened the box. The decoration fell over again! The parking lot was a little crowded due to it being a Friday, i guess. But once we found parking we walked in and there was no one in there, only the two workers. Not Recommended for Quality! Quality! Quality! For a quick stop for a scoop of ice cream this location is okay --but for any serious inquiries about a "custom" case, I would NEVER recommend this place. All we ordered were two of an extra small sized, half-sphere shaped elf that was an option in their cake book. Unfortunately they were the second location we went out of our way to try and get the cake we wanted. They accepted the job and produced two cakes that was nowhere near accurate. My mom was quick enough to conceal the cakes until it was time for my sister to blow out her 11 candles. I saw the cakes before her and was shocked that my mom allowed such a tragedy slide by. (Kudos to my mom for paying FULL price for what we didn't ask for). I felt so bad when I saw her reaction. Her jaw literally dropped and I saw her lips mouth, "what are those?" I would give a higher rating but I had a bad experience here this evening and so here I am writing a bad review which I rarely do. I came in tonight with my family and I ordered a brownie sundae. In the employees defense it is loud in there and hard to hear but she was a bit rude when she had to repeat herself about what toppings it came with and what to order. I mentioned wanting hot fudge (maybe she didn't hear) but she looks back at the menu and rudely says to pick other toppings besides the ones it comes with which is whipped cream, nuts and a cherry. So when it seemed to me by her reaction that hot fudge wasn't something I could get I said okay marshmallows then. I go outside with family to eat it and see no marshmallows. I also got a closer look at menu from outside through the window and see that hot fudge IS an option for topping. I then go back in and say since I didn't get my marshmallows can I choose hot fudge to be put on it. I mean it is a sundae lol. There's no hot fudge or marshmellows. So she says I need to pay extra and that the marshmallows are in there. I then say okay whatever I'll pay the extra $1 for fudge (that wasn't even warm btw) which brings my $7 sundae to now $8. I go back out and eat my sundae and there is not 1 marshmallow in it but it really wasnt worth it to me to go back in while it was busy and wait to get my refund of $1. Instead I'm on here wasting my energy bitching about what should have just been a better experience out with my family for a treat. Amber was the person I dealt with and not only was she rude and more condescending than helpful but she lied to me about what she put in the sundae (there were no marshmallows) and to top it all off she/they charged me extra for fudge when I should have just been allowed to get it as my topping to begin with (at no additional charge). In all of the years that I have worked in customer service I could never imagine treating a customer in the rude manner that I was treated with tonight. Hopefully she gets additional training in customer service or finds a different job doing something that doesn't involve dealing with customers so that others dont have the same crappy experience. read more
