The employees just stared at us without greeting us or saying anything, which made the whole experience uncomfortable from the start. Since it was our first time, we wanted to look at all the flavors, but we felt pressured to order because of the awkward stares. We ended up paying around $8 for two scoops that were tiny--about the size of ice cubes. The ice cream itself was alright, but nothing special. First time at this location. I treated my son for some ice cream and was happy to see they had a couple of dairy-free options. My son chose the cookies and cream, and I had the Non-dairy Daiquiri Ice. The Daiquiri Ice is definitely an acquired taste, but it does get better with each bite. We both really enjoyed our treats. The reason I only gave 3 stars, is because of the long wait and cleanliness of the store. A family of 4 walked in before us and they all ordered milkshakes, there was only one guy behind the counter working, the line was really starting to build up, and after waiting about 10-15 minutes another guy who was in the back came out to help. He should've come out to help earlier. Lastly, as I stood there waiting, I noticed the store didn't seem very clean. The floors need to be mopped, the canisters with the toppings are dirty, and the glass on the ice-cream display case needs to be cleaned. The whole store looks like it needs a deep cleaning. If they can fix these issues, I think this would be a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

Please properly manage and train folks. I asked what's in a mocha blast, blank stare. Further how many scoops of ice cream go in a large cappuccino bast. Just one? I know it used to be two. The restrooms are nasty. The whole establishment seemed very dingy and dirty. It could use a very deep cleaning!!! And the young man taking my order couldn't remember my flavors at all. He didn't ask if I wanted a cup or cone . He just assumed I wanted a cup. But I really wanted a cone. But I wasn't going to make him Change it. And then the size of the scoops were very small. Not worth the money I paid. I can go to Braums and get twice the amount of ice cream for half the price. Will not be back. Will not recommend. I mean, it's a Baskin Robbins, so you know what you're getting here. I think they went overboard (see what I did there?) with the whole Scoops Ahoy theme from Stranger Things, but whatever. It's hard to pick on service when there isn't much of it at all. I'll let everyone else speak for them, but I'm here because of the cake I had them make for me. At many stores, Baskin Robbins is a wonderful company that we've gone to for years, somehow they always make the cake right and the people are always happy to help you. NOT at this Frisco one. When I picked up the cake from this store for the first time, the words "Happy Birthday" were completely, unprofessionally squished into the right side of the cake. One can excuse it by saying there isn't enough room, but there is SO much space on the left side. My 4-year-old niece could write better than that. It's horrible to think that they are so lazy and think so little of what you expect, that they would leave it like that. I asked the employee there for the person who made the cake, and conveniently, they're not there. Well, when will she be here? "I don't know..." "World Class Chocolate and Cookies and Cream from Baskin Robbins - NOW!" screamed my pregnancy cravings. So I obliged. The store really dark from the outside so I wasn't sure if they were open. We were cheerfully greeted by a friendly employee, received quick service (we were the only ones there), and it was a clean interior. I ordered exactly what the baby was asking for, in a cup, to go. I don't think it's just me, the scoops were so tiny! Like really tiny. I noticed I'd received chocolate chip instead of cookies and cream, and the gentleman helping me apologetically re-scooped the correct flavors. TIP: ask for NO lid. Extreme Rudeness from Owner cost him a 6 yr Weekly Regular. The owner of this shop is extremely rude, as evidenced by his multitude of 1-star reviews on Yelp. However I have been a regular for over 6 years, loyally purchasing the SAME shake every week and ordering two expensive cakes every Halloween. I could recognize the owner in a lineup. Being such a frequent customer, I imagined he would appreciate my business. He mis-heard my shake order (I order the SAME one every week for 6 years) and literally argued with me, accusing me of adding almonds when I can't eat nuts so I'm quite certain I didn't order them in my shake. Did he seriously not recognize me after all the money I've patronized his ice cream shop with over the years? Perhaps he would be friendlier (or at least courteous) if he remembered I'm his customer that gets the same ice cream shake every week? Instead he snapped, "I made you another one, didn't I?" Wow. At the moment I was too astonished that I left the shop without another word. Now I wish I had handed the shake back for a refund. I was raised working in my family's Baskin Robbins store and I am very familiar with the policies, products, cost, and the expected customer service that a franchisee expects from their team. You'd think the experience would be consistent when you go to B & R, but at this location, you'll feel RIPPED OFF and angry so beware. They consistently give half scoops and thin milkshakes, so you do not get what you pay for or should be getting. If you point it out to the bored teenage staff, that the amount of ice cream in their scoops and shakes is not enough, they won't correct and insist it costs more to do so. I even asked if they would weight the scoop which they should be doing and they said they couldn't. Hopefully this is something the owner will correct and has not directed the employees to do in an attempt to save money? Too many other choices in the area that will give you what you pay for and with good service. read more

I visited this store a couple months ago without issue - I got three cups of ice cream to go. I went in a couple weeks ago to get two cups of ice cream to go along with a milkshake and a malt. My milkshake was mostly milk with hardly any flavor of the ice cream. I told the person who made my shake that the consistency and flavor were bad and the older gentlemen (likely the manager - possibly the franchise owner (he didn't have a name tag)) took my shake that I had drank out of, poured it into a blender and added one more scoop of ice cream to it. Not surprisingly, the end result was still a $5 cup of milk with a bit of ice cream. I called corporate to let them know so they could notify the franchise owner if the guy who "remade" my shake wasn't the owner. I won't be going back to this location ever. read more
