This is my second time eating at Basils and it was very appetizing. They have a variety of things on their menu which were halal. We ordered the phillycheese steaks, lamb gyro, buffalo wings, and chicken quesadillas. Everything was delicious!! The owner was very nice and friendly checking up on us. I purchased pizza from this establishment for the first time on Sunday my friends told me they were really good. Large pizza an 2 liter costed 18 something not too bad. THE WORST PLACE EVER. Waited over an hour and a half for the food to arrive to my house. Once I open the food I noticed that my order was completely wrong, not only it was wrong but it was STALE and COLD! I called them to make them aware of the situation thinking they would fix it but instead I received attitude and no solution. They refused to give me a refund. Why do I NEED to give this place one star?!?!?! I placed an order online with a 45-60 minute wait time. I ordered two chicken filet sandwiches with fries. There were options to add lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. I did not check ANY of these boxes!!! The order arrives 75 minutes later cold and covered in toppings including sauce and cheese that can't be removed. I called and they said if I didn't want toppings I should have been more specific. How does not checking off any toppings leave room for confusion? And if they were confused, they had my cell and could have called. I give this pizza place high reviews because they are our usual pizza delivery place solely based on their Mama's Special pizzas. They are delicious! The delivery is always component and they have never messed up an order. Prices could be a little lower, but the pizzas are quality. The subs are just ok. read more

On a busy Friday night I called and ordered Gyros for pickup. The food was ready when I arrived and quickly bagged (which I didn't check:( Arriving home 20 minutes later I unloaded the sandwiches to discover no tzatziki and no feta. Ugh! We opened the fridge and dug out some toppings and made the best of it since my husband had to head back out. I called Basil's to - I don't know, perhaps get an apology, an excuse, an adjustment? They wanted to know why I didn't get back in my car and come back? Really? Rush hour on Friday night? Almost and hour round trip? Wish there was an option for 0 rating. Went there one day at exactly 11:50pm and we were ecstatic to see their door wide open and the neon sign saying "OPEN" at this hour. Before we could even go inside, the lady at the cash register started shaking her head, meaning we are closed. Disappointed and hungry, we left, understanding that it was so close to closing time and being the nice customers we are. A month later, we found ourselves here again, but at 11:35pm. Assuming there was plenty of time before closing, we walked in hoping to order great food. Surprise surprise! The same lady at the register said " I am sorry guys, we are closed, we have all the chairs up and everything". We were this close to getting pissed and arguing about why their sign says open when they are CLOSED! But again, wanting to avoid talking to idiots at this hour, we left right away vowing to never set foot here again. Dodged a bullet on this one. Ordered food via Eat24. The company could not get a hold of the restaurant and therefore contacted me asking if I wanted to cancel. I tried calling the restaurant and someone answered. After cutting me off halfway through my explanation I was put on hold for 20 mins. I finally hung up and called Eat24 to cancel. I am soooo freaking pissed off. First off I got delivery thinking that they are 15 mins away and I got a medium pizza I thought it would only take a minum of 30 mins. HORRIBLE service! The Woman employee is beyond rude, hung up on me multiple times after I asked to cancel my order and refunded on my card. Prior to processing the payment she gave me a total; then after payment I asked again the total because I couldn't remember the change; and she gave me a COMPLETELY different amount. Almost a $4.00 difference, granted that's not much and had she advised that amount prior to processing, I wouldn't had any issues. So when I question the "new amount" she became extremely nasty and rude. Then says "do you want your order or not"??? NO, NOW I don't want the dmn order because your being very rude, and as a PAYING patron I have the RIGHT to question the charge you have placed on my card because its different from the agreed amount! So I told her to void all that sht. This BTCH hung up on me not once, not twice but 4 times! So, I call back AGAIN and she is rude, and tells me I am being difficult...ummm btch....so I GO THE FCK OFF! I asked her who do you think you're talking to? This hoe says, "Who do you think you're talking to?" I told the btch, I'll be talking to YOU in person when I come up there" and I hung up. Needless to say, I went TF up there. So she sees me come in, I KNOW she knew it was me because she looked at me and hurried to put her head down. She was in the back talking to the other employees. Now, regardless if she THOUGHT she knew it was me, she DIDNT really KNOW for sure and should had at least said "i'll be right there, or just a moment" SOMETHING to acknowledge that a customer is now in the establishment. Ordered from their online site last Saturday night. One pizza and one sandwich. Delivery time posted on the site was 30-45 minutes. After one full hour we decided to call to check on the order. We were told not very nicely by a gentleman that they were very busy and we had to "be patient." Apparently our food would be done in "ten minutes" and then sent out for delivery. Another full hour goes by and we decide to call again. A lady answered the second time and she put us on hold for close to ten minutes. While on hold our food was luckily delivered. The only reason I'm giving more than one star was that the food was very good and at least delivered hot. And honestly I wouldn't have minded waiting an hour or so for delivery if that's what was posted on the website when I went to order. I understand busy Saturday nights and delivery taking a long time, but two hours for two menu items is absurd. I will never order from Basil's again. read more

It took two hours to get one entree and one appetizer. When 1 hr 45 mins rolled around I asked for a refund and to cancel the delivery. However, the driver showed up anyway exactly 2 hours after I placed the order with cold food and he insisted I take the food.I called them back told them I didn't want the food and still wanted a refund. The man that was answering the phone told me he would call me back to give me the refund. Never called me back I had to call 3 more times each time he told me he would call me back and never did. I had to go there the next day with the food and get a refund. But honestly what upsets me the most is the terrible customer service. No apology, no compensation, and on top of it I was promised a call back with a refund and got nothing. I had to go there myself to ensure I got my money back. Mistakes happen but when you don't do anything to make up for it and apologize it just means you don't care about your customers or your business. read more
