First time I ate here. I've driven past it a lot. I was pleased the slices were very good. They do a personal pie also. I tried the apple turkey, cranberry wrap with mustard. I ordered it exactly as the menu described. It was delicious. I would get it again. Very nice owners. They have several booths to eat. The outside doesn't look inviting and there is a gas pump in front but I wish I would have stopped here sooner. And there isn't much else around. Will be back! I have loved stopping here for a slice of pizza for lunch many times over the past few years. The pizza was very good. This week I ordered a large trad pizza with mushrooms to take to my mom's for an inpromptu surprise lunch. The pizza was ready on time. He said the crust was thin and he had mushrooms on it. To view, it looked like that was all that was on the crust, and I said it does have mozzarella? He said yes, as it was not visable. I took the pizza home and re-heated it. It was dry crust with very little sauce or cheese. We were disappointed. What happened to the pizza I remember? Probably will not come back for a full pizza again. read more

We visited Peddler's Village and New Hope in December and we needed food before we headed back home. We couldn't decide what we wanted so we wandered around New Hope for about half an hour before we found Ferry Market. This place is great, but we STILL couldn't come to a consensus so the three of us ate at three different places. My son got a chicken parm sandwich from Basilico's and he raved about it all the way home. It wasn't the biggest sandwich, but it was quite delicious-sauce wasn't too sweet, chicken was crispy and tasted great and the roll was wrapped it up nicely. This was our first time dining here. I ordered the pasta bolognese, and my husband had the lasagna--both came with a salad and garlic knots. Unfortunately, the A/C was broken, so we had to sit outside. The salad was disappointing, consisting mostly of lettuce stems, which was a letdown. Since outside was busy, we decided to take our order to go, but when we got home, we realized they forgot to include the garlic knots. This place used to have one of the best meatball Parm sandwiches I ever had. Tasty homemade meatballs that were left hole on the sandwich. It was definitely one of my top five meatball Parm sandwiches ever. I ordered two from DoorDash last night and what I received was a hollow shell of what I had a couple of years ago. These meatballs were chopped up and tasted like whole wheat flour. Not sure if they are homemade or not but they definitely sucked. I ate about three bites and threw the that one and the other one out definitely will not be ordering that again, the pizza wasn't bad though. read more

The menu variety is better than most pizza places. The chicken Florentine cheesesteak totally lacked flavor. The Turkey harvest wrap was enjoyed. The spinach calzone, too had no flavor. Lastly the wings were small and were 80% garlic and 20% Parmesan. Not a balanced flavor. We did like the online ordering process and delivery in 30 minutes when the website said a 70 minute delivery time was a nice surprise. I have had several other meals from this place but this was a disappointment. When you eat it the sandwich is larger and their slices of pizza are great. read more

I'm definitely coming back. Unfortunately the night I went the kitchen was "slow" per the counter staff and despite arriving at the designated 35 minute order time, I waited an additional 45 minutes for my order. This place has potential, but my pizza was ice cold, as was my dad's, as if it had been sitting awhile. The cheese was hard. My mom's Rachel sandwich and fries, however, were piping hot. I'm letting it slide as they were very, very busy! The Friday before Memorial Day and ugh, a complete drencher at that. Cold and miserable. Probably lots of folks abandoned their Shore plans and wanted to make the best of it with take out. My pizza would have have been fabulous if hot. I'll be back, obviously on a slower day. Wanted carry out pizza close by to where we were staying. Called them up and placed an order for the Brooklyn thin crust square pizza. (Essentially a margarita pizza but prettier!) They were hopping busy when I called ( a good sign). Friendly staff person took the order. When we got back to our place, man oh man. Pizza was cut into large square pieces and delicious! The sauce the crust the cheese, every bit was perfectly done and tasty. Although one slice could have been filling enough, I went ahead and enjoyed a second :) as did the hubby. The pizza shops in the area are generally some level of meh. Basilico's stands out among the crowd. Try their boardwalk pizza, it has become our favorite, love it with some ricotta! We placed a food order that totalled $92 this Saturday before Easter. When I went to pay they would not accept the $50 gift card that we had. Rude manager explained they stopped accepting the gift cards. I paid in full but returned later to show the card balance was still $50 and 2009 federal law requires the gift card to be accepted for 5 years. Owner called me but stated they would not refund any money and I had to stop in again to use it. Not how I would run a business. They had the ability to correct this mistake but want to make more money on me? First order was also made wrong. I'll shred the gift card and remember to go somewhere else next time. read more

Pizza Villa used to make one of the best hoagies in the area. The new management changed the Italian Hoagie. I am very disappointed. It's smaller, the bread is worse (bland and hard) and the toppings are not as good tasting. read more
