Pizza! We didn't know, there's a FIFA game going on TV. It's no wonder, the two waitress were super busy! It took a long time for us to get our orders in. I told hubby, "I'm going to the restroom to wash my hands, and if she's not back to take our order, by then, we're leaving!" A lady tried the door to the restroom, and she thought someone was inside. We stood in line, waiting for her to come out. Then, our waitress said something, to turn the handle, it's just stuck (I'm not sure, something like that), so the lady in front of me, tried it harder, and the door opened. I only went there to wash my hands, then, I heard METAL DROPPED on the floor! That's what it sounded like. She was only closing her stall door, but it was so loud, metal to metal, it wasn't closing smoothly, but very noisy, that it startled me! I didn't like using the drying machine, I looked for a paper towel dispenser, there was none. I'm supposed to touch the dirty doorknob, with my clean & drippy hands? I used my skirt, to dry my hands, and the back of my fingers to turn the knob, as I said earlier, it was hard to turned the handle, hurting my knuckle right index finger. I was using the cold water plastic container, that the waitress brought in, so I don't bruise. The pizza we ordered: Mr Toad's Wild Ride, she throw in handmade pub meatballs, was very, very good! I saved one slice for my lunch tomorrow. Our waitress was very helpful! Once again, waiting for our receipt took another long wait, it was crowded, because of the game, I also thought to surprise our oldest son's big 5 - 0 birthday in a few weeks, but after the negatives above, and it can get very noisy . . . I decided to have it at a park somewhere.

While there are other locations, this one on Broadway was not only convenient, but the ambiance was perfect. I like to cook, but lasagna is best made when you have company, so I will have it when I'm eating out and skip all the preparation. The meals arrived quickly, everything was hot, and for two people who said earlier that we weren't all that hungry, we both ate everything on our plates, as good a recommendation as I could offer. I'm sure I'll be back to dine at this particular Pastini, but I'm also feeling pretty good about trying their other locations too. The next time I'll bring my camera inside the restaurant. Just for once, instead of being the editor and photojournalist that I am, I decided to forego shooting and just enjoy the moment.

Having lived in the southeast of the country twice now, I feel as though I've experienced some pretty darn good fried chicken.
