I came because I was nearby and looking for a new car. This was an impulse stop though. Ford…read morehadn't really hit my radar. Drove one of thier smaller suvs. It was a very nice car. I really liked the sales team. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. The showroom is large, but there isn't a clear "reception area" so you may wander a little at first. the followup from the sales team and the internet team is good without being annoying.

I've had a myriad of problems with my vehicle -all of which were not correctly rectified by the service department. From Control arms to sensors they never knew what they were doing. They ordered things incorrectly, parts got lost, incorrect parts ordered, delay, delay, delay, after delay. Glenroy in the service department really doesn't understand what's going on. I spoke with the owner Peter Delacy many times and though he tried his best -his dealership is run by incompetence. When I finally got my car back, they did not charge me, which was wonderful. However, not three hours after I drove off the lot, my AC condenser broke. Coincidence - I think not. The AC condenser was not the problem. I brought the car in for. I took it to my AC guy- he said that it looked like my AC condenser was tampered with. Now I don't know whether the service department here at this dealership did that- because they ate so much money fixing my vehicle?? You know I can't tell. But I will never set foot in that dealership again and I don't think you should either. Be aware, and BEWARE.

I ended up in a new lease for only a couple dollars more a month in something that was a little bit bigger for the family but also more efficient. I am looking at my past review from here and I am writing this one week short of two years since my last review, which makes sense! After excellent service here for my last two cars, I will be going back to the same salesman at Joe Basil for my next car too.

My daughter was looking to buy a new vehicle and went shopping around on a Sunday so she can view…read morethem in private 1st then checked online a little further before I went with her to test drive a couple Chevy Trax's we had a nice person named Tyler help us since my daughter came prepared with questions Tyler gave her good answers and if he didn't know he looked it up for her. She came back with her father to help her make the deal on the one she wanted and I was with her while they helped her get the the plates do an oil change all the details it takes to purchase a new vehicle. She was being helped by Tyler all day and finally at 6 o clock she drove away with her 2024 Trax had great service and a great salesman thank you Tyler for all the help and spending the whole day helping my daughter get on the way with a new vehicle! Everyone at Basil are friendly helpful and are there to see you have a great experience!

If I could give this company negative stars. I was completely robbed by this company of my…read morefinancial investment and my time. I went into this experience communicative. Willing to be patience and reasonable in my selection based on my credit and income. I was transparent about my income and requested approval be verified first before I even began looking for a vehicle. I was told I was approved after filling out the application and that included the verification of income, I was provided a 2022 ford escape and put a down payment down when I was asked to by Scott. Drove off into the sunset. Never once was told there could be issues with the lender nearly a month after I purchased the vehicle. I was told abruptly with no warning my income wasn't completely verifiable? I sent atleast 15 different documents of financial statements and a detailed employment summary from my boss and suddenly, now I'm not allowed to keep my vehicle unless I give them an additional $3,000. I opted to get into a cheaper vehicle and was told I still needed $3,000 more? Seems like a complete scam. I LOST $1,500 in insurance costs because I had the vehicle insured beyond the refund policy. Galaxyauto took no responsibility for that. I am the provider in my household and now I am likely out of both of my jobs due to galaxyautos inability to be transparent and communicate effectively about the buying process and what the risks were or that my income may not have been acceptable for whatever scammy reason. This company is taking advantage of every person that walks through those doors unless they have half the total cost of the vehicle down as payment or an 839 credit score, so their job is easier. Do not waste your time being played by this shady company.
