Yesterday I took home my Jeep Wrangler Sport, This is the Second time I have purchased a vehicle…read morethrough Transitowne West Seneca within a 3 month period. The first time I came to this dealership I came specifically because of positive reviews of salesmen Glenn Colton. I was not disappointed, I can assure you Glenn will surpass your expectations. That day I was shopping for my girlfriend. We were able to leave the same day with a Jeep Cherokee. (same day delivery on the Wrangler as well) . I came back to buy my personal vehicle because of how flawless the first experience was. Sales Manager Alyssa Witkowski is also very passionate about her position and was able to work with me through the financial portion of the deal and was a pleasure to sit with. Overall The experience at Transitowne West Seneca will be better than other dealerships in our area. I know from experience as I have purchased 5 cars in the last decade and my two most pleasant purchases have been through this dealership. Some extra advice: 1. Do not use just one website for reviews certain sites people only post to when an odd ball situation occurs and they need some where to vent (we all do it). 2. Come prepared- No matter what dealership you go to prepare the best you can to know what others have paid and/or what rebates you qualify for. Know your credit score and debt to income ratio. Be weary of dealership pre-configured finance calculators they will often fill in a down payment to make the payment appear cheaper. Use your own finance calculator that will calculate tax and interest rate.

Buyer Beware - My Sister's Experience at Transit Town (Elma)…read more Sharing this so others don't go through the same thing. My 21-year-old sister had her car towed there because it wouldn't shut off and was stuck in park. After sitting there for a WEEK, they told her it needed a battery... and charged her $550. Problem is--that wasn't the issue. When they were questioned about it, the dealer hung up on my dad twice. They then said it needed more diagnostics (more $$$) and wouldn't release the car unless she paid. No return call from management either. We had it towed to another mechanic... and within ONE MINUTE they found the real problem: A bottle cap stuck in the transmission. Fixed immediately. No charge. There are honest mechanics out there--but this was not one of them. Just a heads up so no one else gets burned.

Update to Delacy unable to fix vehicle after 5 weeks…read more Dropped vehicle off at Towne Ford on 9/15 & received a call on 9/16 stating vehicle was fixed. Pathetic that Delacy is unable to service vehicles. Maybe Lynn & her staff should go back to Automotive 101

Before reading this review, please realize that I am an Elite Yelper with over 600 reviews…read more Please believe what I say. Now, onto Delacy Ford. I've had a myriad of problems with my vehicle -all of which were not correctly rectified by the service department. From Control arms to sensors they never knew what they were doing. They ordered things incorrectly, parts got lost, incorrect parts ordered, delay, delay, delay, after delay. Glenroy in the service department really doesn't understand what's going on. I spoke with the owner Peter Delacy many times and though he tried his best -his dealership is run by incompetence. When I finally got my car back, they did not charge me, which was wonderful. However, not three hours after I drove off the lot, my AC condenser broke. Coincidence - I think not. The AC condenser was not the problem. I brought the car in for. I took it to my AC guy- he said that it looked like my AC condenser was tampered with. Now I don't know whether the service department here at this dealership did that- because they ate so much money fixing my vehicle?? You know I can't tell. But I will never set foot in that dealership again and I don't think you should either. Be aware, and BEWARE.

So far I am extremely happy with my experience at Dave Smith Ford. I wandered into the first dealer…read moreI saw pretty much on a whim. I have been avoiding getting a new car for months now because, to be frank, I didn't want to deal with car sales people. But Nick was SUPER helpful, honest, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Kyle did the financing end of things and was very patient with me. He got me an amazing deal. Overall, the staff wasn't judgemental, gimmicky or pushy. I felt listened to and respected, which is huge for me. Plus, I ended up walking away with my dream car AND it was in my budget! Couldn't believe I was able to make that work as I was expecting just to get a cheap daily rider that would tie me over until I could afford something nicer. Go see Nick & Kyle now!

I had the worst experience at a dealership possible to occur. Mark put a deposit down on a vehicle…read moreto hold it because he thought I would like it. I test drove it and asked to have it overnight. Took it home, the next day the salesman and GM Dan told me I only had one hour to decide in which wasn't enough time for me. The GM was very rude. The next week they drop the price for auction because guess what? In that one hour I had a week had passed and no one looked at it. I text to see if it's available. Go in to buy it. Sign everything to take it home. There's a lean and no title. Dealership claims they did not know yet again a week prior I had one hour to decide. Vehicle had one small dent in which they said will be fixed, only has one key I am told I will get another. Over a week goes by before the titles in. Get the car it's been there dents still there, no key. Drive the SUV home only. Next day only to two stores. Brakes start squealing. Mechanic looks at it. I call next day. Oh bring it in. List of things wrong sent over including brakes, rotors calipers. Another week goes by they still have the truck. Go pick it up. It's making the same noise. GM gets in no noise of course. I drive home hear it turn around. Drive the salesman so much noise you can't believe he states "oh drive it 100 miles it should go away". Now I am getting upset I ask for the GM oh he's in a meeting. The tech comes for a ride hears it. Within the drive states all of this "oh we cleaned the pads, that noise will go away I promise, must be cheap brakes whoever put on it prior, yeah it's the brakes, GETS out of the vehicle says if it's still happening in a few weeks bring it back and tell them it's the pads and rotors but don't say I said so". I ask to talk to the GM manager dick head Dan. Explain what the tech said, that I am getting mad and it should be fixed. Dan comes back and says the tech said he didn't say that. In which I get mad and ask why I would lie. I said you are a dealership you should be fixing it not saying drive around with the noise. GM gets mad at myself and my significant other for expressing concerns about working in costumer service and they should be fixing it. Our experience was the worst we have had and trust me we own vehicles- he was told this. Dan gets pissed off states "I am not doing anything for you, I am done here. We are done". Gets up and walks away as I am still speaking. If this is the type of dealership you want to deal with be my guest. Hours wasted, treated and talked to like scum and sold a car they refuse to fix even when their tech stated all of the above. A manager who just says we're done and walks away, now that is the great representation of how you will be treated at DaveSmith Transit Road.

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Kevin Newkirk at Jim Murphy Buick & GMC!…read moreFrom the very first interaction, he went above and beyond. We sent an inquiry about a truck late at night--10pm on a weekend--and Kevin didn't just respond, he answered promptly and kindly. What stood out most was how refreshingly different Kevin is from the stereotypical car salesperson experience. We typically dread the process, but Kevin made it fair, transparent, and stress-free. He never played the hardball pricing game--instead, he worked with us to reach a deal that felt good for everyone. We had a lot of requests for detailed photos, videos, and vehicle history, and Kevin delivered every single time--always promptly, always with a great attitude. Communication was constant and easy, and he kept the process moving without a single hitch. Even though this was a long-distance purchase, it felt effortless. Kevin made sure the truck was spotless and fully detailed before we picked it up. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine kindness turned what is usually a chore into a truly enjoyable buying experience. We are so, so happy with our new truck and can't recommend Kevin and the entire team at Jim Murphy Buick & GMC enough. If you want a seamless, honest, and pleasant car-buying experience, ask for Kevin--you won't be disappointed!
