I really liked the sales team. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. Let me start by saying, for the better part of 10 years, I was DeLacy's biggest cheerleader. Sadly, no more. My car died on the road and I had it towed to DeLacy Ford Elma. I didn't hear anything - or receive a return call for three days. After having my partner stop in and ask what was going on, we were told they had found that they needed my second key fob to "finish their diagnostics". They apparently knew this for 2 or 3 days, but no one ever called to tell me. This was on a Saturday. So, if we hadn't stopped in it would have been Monday until we heard anything - if then. When we arrived there, the gate was open and my car was sitting unlocked. Anyone could have gone in and taken or destroyed anything they wanted - seeing as no one questioned us when we drove right into the gate and up to the car. Upon entering the dealership, the first thing I was told was that no one knew what was going on. They called someone and I was told I needed a new key fob. (almost $400) Then they said I needed to replace the relay (for the antitheft system) They said that's why I needed a new key. Not true. They Could have replaced the relay ($119) and reprogramed the current keys to communicate with it. I was told this (after the fact) by 3 other mechanics and looked it up online as well. I called every single day from the second day the car was there, but no one ever returned any calls. So, what could I do? They had my car and, so far, a bill for $200 so - Once I gave the ok to order the (unnecessary) key and install the relay, I didn't hear anything for 2 more days. Even though I was told I'd get a call "later that day". When I Did finally get hold of someone, 2 days later, she told me the car had been done the day I was waiting for the return call. By now it was later on a Saturday, So I had to wait until Monday to get my car. It's not running as smoothly as it used to (seems to want to die every time I slow down) But I no longer trust DeLacy Ford. I feel they charged me for a key I didn't need. I also feel their lack of communication, poor service and (to put it kindly) less than completely truthful behavior calls the trustworthiness of this dealership in serious doubt. Before reading this review, please realize that I am an Elite Yelper with over 600 reviews. Please believe what I say. Now, onto Delacy Ford. I've had a myriad of problems with my vehicle -all of which were not correctly rectified by the service department. From Control arms to sensors they never knew what they were doing. They ordered things incorrectly, parts got lost, incorrect parts ordered, delay, delay, delay, after delay. Glenroy in the service department really doesn't understand what's going on. I spoke with the owner Peter Delacy many times and though he tried his best -his dealership is run by incompetence. When I finally got my car back, they did not charge me, which was wonderful. However, not three hours after I drove off the lot, my AC condenser broke. Coincidence - I think not. The AC condenser was not the problem. I brought the car in for. I took it to my AC guy- he said that it looked like my AC condenser was tampered with. Now I don't know whether the service department here at this dealership did that- because they ate so much money fixing my vehicle?? You know I can't tell. But I will never set foot in that dealership again and I don't think you should either. Be aware, and BEWARE. read more

My husband's truck was dropped of there in Nov. 2025 because of an issue with the automatic running boards. The service dept. removed them, but then said that the parts to repair them were on back order. It is now almost 5 months later and there are still no running boards on the truck. The service dept. claims they have no record of the truck being there, but we have emails to prove it. A call was made to the GM of the dealership and was never returned. I took my van to this dealership for a recall repair and got it back only to drive two miles home before it started making an awful noise. Something was clearly wrong, so I had it towed back to the dealership. When I called, the woman on the phone told me that I would be responsible for the tow costs if "nothing was wrong" with the van. Well, they claimed there was nothing wrong with it, but I know for a fact they fixed something because the van was undriveable before the tow. The whole situation feels like a scam and they're trying to make me pay for a tow I shouldn't even have needed. The level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is unbelievable. brought my bronco in a 3 months after i bought it ..... power distrabution box constantly running even hours of just being in parked, precollision going on while driving and there was nothing around me are just 2 examples..... they had my car for 21 days and did not even bring it in the shop! just drove it outside and there it sat for 21 days in august. when j checked the link on the 20th day. it showed it was done. so i ho to get it and thats when they told me they didnt even pull it in. but yet i see cars going in and out of there shop. not to mention the safety recall they didnt fix before selling me the bronco or the safety recalls they wont fix until "a light goes on" if you really want s ford go somewhere else. i stopped 4 people from going there just because of their service center and my bronco is still not fixed... read more

if I can give this place, no stars I would do so, I was so excited to go get my first SUV from them. The sale went smooth until the sale was over then when I had any questions or concerns, no response literally the next day. We had a problem with our steering with a week of having it so we drove all the way out. To Delacey, which is an hour from us just to have them tell us to bring it to the GMC dealership closest to us and then they would cover it. They inspected a car that should've never passed inspection. I have kids that drive in that car and that's truly very sad, this came from the GMC dealership we took it to to fix the steering problem. We went ahead and had them fix the problem because DeLacey told us that they would cover it after the work was done, That was all false. I had to spend $700 out of my own pocket. I just bought the car less than a month ago. I have yet to get any responses from anybody about even my warranty. This place has been awful. It's very sad. I called to schedule a recall for my car. I received letter in the mail that parts were available from ford. They first said no appointments for recalls until December then said they don't have the parts needed for the recall. I called another dealer and they said they didn't have the part but would order it and would take about a month. Why can the other dealer call to order part but delacy can't. Seems like they just don't want to work on recalls.. but they sold me the vehicle with no problem. It's been 18 days and no reply from the business owner like promised in the response... read more

Total joke... I had an appointment on Saturday to look at a Bronco Sport. When I got there the young salesman was waiting for me at the door, I didn't even hardly get inside. Some stern looking older salesman was sitting staring out the window, apparently trying to be intimidating. My salesman had a Bronco Sport parked right out front which was to be my test drive vehicle. When I got in, I saw that there was almost no gas in it (estimated range was only 11 miles). Now I wasn't planning to go real far, but come on, I don't want to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. So after some back and forth, he had me go in and sit down while he added a little more gas. After a few minutes he return, reeking of gas... somehow he'd shot some on his pants... So I get in the car (window is now down) and the car stinks of gas too (I guess from him). he asked for the key to my truck so that he could give me an estimate on a trade (a mistake on my part, as now he's got my keys). anyway, I take it for a test drive and it's quite quick and nimble for an SUV, especially considering it's only a 3 cylinder. so he brings me back inside and immediately launches into the sale... no mention of do I want to see another color or option package, no nothing. he leaves me with 'I have to go get the numbers'. now this is code for he's gonna let me stew, and I can't even leave since he's got my keys. after a while I get impatient and start to walk around. I see him in an office standing next to a woman's desk while I guess she formulates 'the numbers'. honestly with the amount of complexity they came back to me with this should have taken 15 seconds. anyway, by now I'm fed up and I'm not going to buy a thing from these unprofessional stooges. I should mention I appeared to be the only customer in the entire place, take that for whatever it's worth. Recently traded my 11yr old (2008) p/u truck. My truck didn't have much value at all and the 4 other dealers i went to prior to going to DeLacy gave me ridiculously LOW offers as they didn't honor my kbb instant cash offer. The other dealers kept rating my truck in the poor category of kbb trade in when it wasn't poor at all. It was 'good' category. I intended to buy another truck (used) but everything truck wise is just SO expensive right now, it's ridiculous. Because i live in 'deer country', I wanted something that was safe, durable, reliable, good on gas, low maintenance, and good payments. I ended up w/ a 2016 Jeep Compass from DeLacey. I put on a full warranty since the 3yr one is gonna expire in 1k mi/5mos, so at least i have peace of mind for 6 yrs. Happy to say their warranty prices are VERY affordable!!! I had the pleasure of a Mr. Kevin Dargan being my salesman. I liked him a lot. He was respectful and gave my mom and i time to ourselves (w/o him in the same room) time to discuss amongst ourselves what we were planning to do purchase wise, WHICH IS HOW ALL DEALERS SHOULD BE!!! This is how it used to be back in the day when i was growing up when my parents were looking at cars to buy... DeLacey is old school and that's good too. They were straight up w/ us, no bs, and i didn't know they were family owned. I only dealt w/ Kevin, but the rest of the salesman seemed nice too. Their finance guy was very nice as well as thorough explaining what each thing was to us w/ examples too. I loved my experience w/ them, and i would go back to them for another vehicle. They really worked with us on the payments. I didn't have to haggle. They want to sell cars but they want to make sure that you also get what you want to. Great dealer! Do not go here for anything! I had a recall on my airbag, so I took it here thinking they could fix it. I waited there for three hours until they "finished" it. Well when I got home I i noticed that it wasn't put back together properly, they cracked my dashboard, left screws in it. And my car was dirty. I went back to ask them to fix it and they said they were going to order the parts and call me when they came in. Two months later I called back and they still didn't have it. Four months later I went back to the place and complained, they said they still didn't have the part. I realized that this is a horrible deceiving place that was never going to fix my car and I now have a broken dash and the airbag probably doesn't work. It's been over a year and they still have failed to contact me ever. Don't ever take your car here. read more

The people at DeLacy are very nice, but that's as far as it goes. I had my car in for recall work which they took care of but when they returned the car, some of the electrical switches didn't work. I had to make another appointment and bring the car back to have it repaired. What an inconvenience. Further, they indicated I needed new tires which I ended up buying but when the bill came, it was significantly higher than quoted. They ultimately ended up dropping the price to the original quote after I provided them with the paperwork showing their error. There are many ford dealers out there all selling the same thing. They should work on upgrading their service to set them apart. read more

Service is the worse ever. Nobody at service returns your call, you leaves messages for someone to call and they never do. My vehicle was laid up for six days because of (take your pick): The parts haven't arrived, they sent the wrong parts, the parts are coming in from the state of Washington, and on and on. I know I can go to NAPA and get the parts and give it to them but they would probably find another excuse. The only reason that I went there was because I arranged my lease there and the problem was under warranty. Extremely shady deceitful practice!! OMG do they deflect, tell stories, try to validate falsehoods. I did dd with info at hand and still got taken by this dealership. Vehicle looked beautiful, however that's where it ends! I have never written a negative review in my life however this warrants one. Be extremely careful of purchasing used vehicles from them. I would have an inspection of an independent mechanic prior to purchase with this dealership. Bought a vehicle from them with defective tires, services not completed as advertised, information on service history withheld in order to close the sale prior to end of month. Water pooling inside the rear tire well, 5 documented AC/ Heat, electrical service issues upon digging into service records after the dealership guaranteeing me the car was clean and the dealers car he drove. Assured me that it was ok forge my wife's name on all paperwork for title P and S, etc rather then overnighting paperwork for her to sign. The list goes on and on! Todd is your typical sales guy glass half full wants to be your best friend personality. After signing, he asked if the finance guy was an ass to me, which I responded and said, well, his personality definitely sucks! Another sales guy named Matt, who tried to justify defects with the vehicle stating oh yeah, my wife's car did the same thing as what's happening to your car so you can assume that the defect is perfectly ok! Jennifer whom she states is the GM of the facility spoke 95% of the time when hearing my concerns and asking for remediation; instead of listening, I had enough of her talking over me and trying to convince me that there was nothing she can do, Which is interesting considering Todd, my initial sales associate said that the dealership would pay for half the cost of the defective tires! Jennifer then advises me that "I'm stuck with the vehicle and best of luck! I notified the dealership less then 24 hours after purchase of issues with their vehicle they sold me and called daily until Jennifer decided to pick up the phone and speak to me which was 14 days after purchase. Imagine 14 days!! When asked why it took so long, you can imagine the excuses that came out of her mouth! She was defensive and belligerent! I don't know about you but I can't accept this type of behavior from a business whom treat the customers in this fashion with deceit in order to make a sale!! It's too bad that they wouldn't have listened and worked with me on this damn vehicle, now because of their inaction and deflection, it'll cost them a lot more time, effort and a lot more money and resources!! Delacy, after you read this review...how does Surety Bond claim sound for "undisclosed facts about the vehicle condition that has become evident after the purchase" If only you had listened to my issues Jennifer with this vehicle rather then running your mouth! I would give not even one star. The used car salesman is good at selling the car but when there is a problem with the vehicle after only one payment good luck. They do not care. They only want your money. The prices seemed to be good but it will end up costing you a lot more after you fix all the problems. My husband and I both bought our cars at Delacy. The sales experience was amazing. Service, not so much. We bought an extended warranty FROM Delacy and the first time we had an issue got a run around, telling us there was no record of the warranty (mind you we signed the papers during the financing process) After it was located, the repair process was dragged out unnecessarily, with constant missed timeframes with little to no follow up or communication on the service department's end. I know places can have a bad day. With that in mind, I tried to be open minded when having his truck towed there again (likely a transmission issue) Called 1030am 2/19, and spoke with a female in service. Explained the situation to her, and she said we could have it towed there and while she was looking at the schedule stated "Oh we have several openings later today and should have plenty of time to take a look at it". We had it towed around 1230 the same day. My husband called after he got the tow and was told they should be able to take a look at it today, at the very latest first thing today. He also expressed a need for a loaner as we are down to one car and work opposite schedules. He was told they would follow up today about a loaner today. As of 5:15 pm today 2/20 neither he nor I heard a word from Delacy. We called to follow up and was told the car hadn't been looked at today and the gentleman who I spoke with said he'd follow up when he came in at 10 to see if he could get it in. Tomorrow at 10 will be approximately 48 hours the truck has been sitting at Delacy untouched, and had we not called, who knows how much longer it would sit. I'm livid, as the blatant Ill-set expectations, lack of urgency and non existent communication is not acceptable, and the only reason we now go there is our extended warranty. I will also now reconsider any future business. read more

Delacy Ford is the worst car dealership I have ever had to deal with. Started out good and then everything went wrong.I told my sales person I need my remote start in the car before I picked it up of course they didn't put it in . after spending 8hrs. In the dealership they thought I should just come back another day.They make no attempt w hats so ever to go the extra mile. That was just one of about 4 things that happened. And as for the owner Peter Delacy.he just shrugged his shoulders and said mistakes happen,so I filled out a survey and didn't give them a high score Peter Delacy calls me up to tell because I filled out this survey and didn't give them a good ratting I WAS NO LONGER WELCOME at his dealership. Are you kidding me . From the very beginning, they listened to me and gave me the information that I asked for, when I asked for it instead of slamming their sales process down my throat like so many other car dealers try to do. So for that, I am pleased with this dealership. And when my initial sales person went on vacation, another sales person stepped in and did not miss a beat. I did not think I'd be buying a Ford initially, but I am glad I did. They presented an upgraded package that totally suited my needs and driving style. Horrible experience at DeLacy Ford yesterday! The warranty administrator acted like she was doing us a favor by coming out of her office to talk to us. She tried to refuse to acknowledge that we had a question and didn't want to read the document in question to even try to understand what we were asking. Wow. Way to advocate for YOUR CUSTOMERS! We talked the bill down to half. ($300 for a $50 part that they had ON HAND and replaced in an hour.) Even at that I walked out disgusted before I said something that would not have helped our case! Her attitude was horrible. Guess what? We now have a spare on order. AND I know how to replace it myself. Beware if you own a 2013-2015 Ford Flex. The fuel pump control module will leave you stranded without warning. Certain VINs were recalled. Others were not. read more

I had an appointment at 2 for an oil change got there at 1:50 they took my truck in right away. I proceeded to wait an hour. When I went in to ask about my truck the guy told me 10 more minutes they were filling it up I waited another half hour nobody said a word to me I had to go back in then they told me they were getting it off the lift another ten minutes went by finally get the paperwork takes the guy another ten minutes, so for a 20-30 minute job I waited two hours. Costumer service is horrendous absolutely ridicules I will never deal with delacy ford again and that's saying a lot I work at the ford stamping plant. There wasn't even a "sorry for the wait" I don't care if they were giving a car away I'll never get another one from them again if yelp had a no star option I would have chose that, if you value your time don't go there read more
