I'm a tech junkie, and I started watching for the 2023 Niro back when the release date of "the end of summer 2022," listed on Kia.com was far enough away to illicit an, "Awww, damn." My husband is on his 6th Prius and keeps bugging me to get one, but I just can't bring myself to have matching cars. I spotted the Niro, and forgot all about my (2020 Kia) Soul. Granted, getting 49-54 mpg for this size hybrid with all these safety features was an easy sell. On my Friday snow day (don't hate), I finally spotted a few Niros for sale that were not top-level models, so I decided to stop in to Northtown Kia to snoop. Turns out the green one I was coveting was already scooped up, so after a chat, Mike Maniscalco made sure to toss me right into the prettiest damn 2023 Niro EX Touring you have ever seen, so OF COURSE I was in love. (With the Niro. I'm married, weirdo.) I mean really, how can you say no to color changeable ambient dashboard lighting?!? (Kidding, of course. That was just an happy surprise when Mike walked me through the features before he sent me off into a snowstorm.) Even though this blue beauty was one model up from what I came in for, Mike worked with me to get the payments to where I wanted them. First, I'd like to say that the sales manager, Simone, and several of the sales associates were very pleasant. My father-in-law was at the dealership this afternoon for a few hours and had many questions about financing and the loan process in general. We were on the phone with him to help guide him through everything. He was repeatedly apologetic because he knew he was asking a lot of questions, and the sales representatives were patient and respectful with him. However, toward the end of the transaction--right before finalizing--the finance manager, Jim Kelley, made a highly inappropriate comment. As he was leaving the office, he said, "these fucking people," referring to my father-in-law and possibly to us on the phone with him. This comment was completely disrespectful, felt racially charged, and came entirely out of left field. After hearing this, we no longer felt comfortable giving this dealership our business. My husband asked my father-in-law to request his keys, ID, and registration back and leave. If you choose to go here, be aware of this extremely disrespectful behavior from the finance manager. read more

This is a hard review to write for me to score them this low as I have always had good service in the past 2 vehicles I leased from them and have told people how great they are. I had brought my last lease in for what was the last oil change I would get with it. I had always bought their 3 oil change and 2 tire rotate package that was $99 in the past although the last one I bought for the previous vehicle went up to $139. Since that was the last oil change I would get for that vehicle before turning in the least I asked the sales person if it would transfer to my new vehicle and she told me that it would. Fast forward to the new lease the sales associate I leased it from also said he would transfer it over. I came in for the first oil change and they tried to charge me for the oil change and I brought up the package I was supposed to transfer and they did not charge me for the oil change so I figured they straightened this all out. Now I am waiting for my oils change which the said that would cost me $73. I bought up the package I was supposed to have and she told me they don't transfer from one vehicle to the next. So I said to her "then the sales person just said that to sell me a package" and without even a pause she said "pretty much ". So I asked about a new package which I was told was now $210. What a mark up... I get it inflation... but then she came out and told me they needed to rotate my tires which would cost me another $32. So I said I thought I got 2 with the package. She was like "oh yeah, we'll use one of your rotations. Then she pulls out some dirty filters and tells me I need new filters and those would be $82. Funny thing is there was a dried up half of a leaf in the bottom fold of the filter. A couple of oil changes ago, I came in and they said I needed a new filter they showed me the same dirty filter with the same dried up half leaf in the same spot of the same fold. The best part of that is that the last time I saw that same exact filter was on my previous lease. So clearly they bring out a "fake dirty filter" that is sitting on a shelf somewhere in the back telling you it is yours to make you think you need a new one to charge you $82. Maybe at least show a different dirty filter to the same customer and maybe put a whole dried leaf in a different fold instead of the same half one and the same place. I now know that this will be my last lease at Northtown KIA. I tried to question it and they don't care and just say she must have made a mistake telling you that. That's an expensive mistake. I am sure that the sales people work on commission... not a mistake in my opinion and the "dirty filter" with leaf included is just another sales for commission tactic as well. All I can say is just be careful, pay close attention and if they promise things will transfer from one vehicle to another then record a video of them saying it. I learned the hard way that this is definitely not a place for great service. read more

On 5 January 2022 we were helping not-present out-of-town family by moving their household items from a storage facility in Kenmore when our Niro somehow suffered a flat tire. We called KiaCare since we are paying for this extra coverage to cover the car, and they stated they would have the car towed to Northtown Kia in Amherst as car, flat and tow would be covered. I asked what about us? It's night, there is snow and ice on the ground and we are in a dark getting darker location. Nothing was said about US getting home, which - by car - is about 20mins away. I called KIAcare back again, asking if I could change the location the car would be towed to, to a car shop near our home, since WE had NO way of getting home and NOBODY connected with Kia seemed to be concerned at all! We planned to ASK the tow truck driver if he would allow us to sit in the truck cab. She made the address change and stated now the tow+flat which was covered IF it was towed to the dealership, would have to be paid for by us, and in advance, PLUS stated the tow truck driver is under NO obligation to allow us to sit in the cab. I understood and agreed, taking a chance with the driver, rather than having my wife and myself stuck in the night cold and snow/ice. Anyone in WNY knows most sidewalks are not cleared of ice/snow and I've already fallen a few times and it's not fun. Night time just makes it more dangerous and unsafe, which KIAcare did NOT care about. So, almost an hour later - it's Buffalo and even in winter snow/ice they drive like maniacs speeding then can't figure out why their car slides - and the tow truck finally arrives. We ask and he allows us to sit in crowded cab. Better than walking! The tow driver was more concerned about us being stuck in the night cold and snow than the Kia dealership! Our final bill from paying for the tow was over $160. The cost of replacing the flat was over $200. This Kia dealership cares NOTHING about its clients, at least us! Remember this is the same dealership when I was doing all the paperwork for this lease, I would tell the saleperson I wanted to make the deposit a bit higher to get a lower monthly payment. Told him by each phone call we had, each email we wrote, and IN person. At the final meeting and payoff, the idiot says after all that, "I don't remember you saying anything about that"! My wife knows I said that each and everytime tho he might NOT remember, and I still have ALL MY emails with that little reminder in the text! To prove they do NOT care about clients, not at ANY time was anyone concerned about us being stuck in the snow/ice/cold night, nor asked HOW are you getting home, even after I asked! I have not been to the dealership again due to this lack of attention and concern, and all I get are email spams asking why haven't I returned to Kia for car care? All they care about is money and their "service" for us personally has been terrible and concerning! Thank you kiacare for such kind care!! I am NOT recommending this dealership to anyone PLUS recommend kia REMOVE the "care" from kiaCARE, since for us it was anything BUT caring or care!!! We've passed our first year with this lease and if I could turn it in, I'd do it in a second. They'd probably charge us a bundle!! read more

I ordered a car from this place because my other vehicle that I ordered from a different dealership kept getting delayed. I placed the $500 deposit that the dealership requires. Two weeks later, I decided to cancel my order since the other car arrived. It has been over 9 days and the company still won't refund me for my $500 deposit despite cancelling the order. The company can charge us instantly for a deposit, but they are taking forever to refund. I'm currently still waiting on the refund and am extremely disappointed. After the experience I had buying my third, a new 2016 Kia Fote5 SX manual turbo in 2017 from a young, fast talking guy named Nick, (he is no longer there) I decided I would never buy a car or deal with Northtown again. I took my Kia to West Herr for service thereafter, and recently purchased a certified Subaru from them. Everything from sales to service is so much better there. One is made to feel truly appreciated. I run into many customers there who have also left Northtown for West Herr for some of the same reasons that caused me to abandon them for good. Their service department is overpriced - even by dealership standards. While they won't offer you the best price available, you CAN negotiate the price if you are forceful about NOT accepting their price quote. Maybe it is because I'm a girl, but I'm pretty sure they treat all their customers this way. What a shame. Their sales team has their act together but the service department is horrible. Would give 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service ever. How can you even solve or listen to someone's complaint when your finance manager is NEVER in his office (called half a dozen times) and won't return a call (left messages all those times). I was sold a useless warranty, and was told it could be pro rated if I cancel it. Well I wasn't informed that since the warranty is good for 100k miles, but the car was purchased with roughly 30k miles, I can only get pro rated for those 70k miles at best. So the second I was conned into a warranty, I lost 1/3 of my money ($1200). I can't believe you guys are this bad at your jobs. I wanted to let you know how displeased I was with the service from northtown. This was my first and definitely my last. I will surely NEVER recommend anyone come to you guys for service. The guy who serviced my car told me that "your breaks are so bad you should not drive off the lot" and also made me sign that he told me this. They were not THAT BAD.  My breaks did not squeal or pulsate. This guy made it seem like my breaks were going to give out if I drove it another minute. I believe the maintenance guy targeted me because I was a new customer and mostly because I was a women and had a carseat in my car. I feel like he was trying to scare me into getting my brakes replaced by you guys. While i know its all about sales kind of business, that is surely not the way to go by any means. That was problem number one. Number two. I had my car serviced somewhere else for my breaks today and I'm magically missing a caliper bolt and another is barely hanging on. How convienent is that?! I believe your shop and maintenance guy tried to sabatoge my car or make me pay more money somewhere else because I chose not to have them done by you guys! You guys make me literally sick to my stomach as I'm sure you know of the possibilities that could happen from missing and loose caliper bolts. My daughter was in dire need of a car ASAP. With the way the car market is now, finding a reliable car for a good price is almost impossible. We considered a used car, but there was very little available and they were so expensive. We decided to buy a new car but lower priced car inventory was extremely low. Luckily Northtown Kia happened to have 2 2022 Kia Rios that arrived just when we were looking. They weren't going to last long so we snatched one up. We got a decent price for the present market Alvaro was our salesperson. He was great! He did the best he could to help us find a car. He was personable, honest and didn't rush us to make a decision. He went over different options of purchasing a car such as buying a used car, leasing and buying a new car. He also was excellent at communicating and keeping me updated through texts. Sold me a SUV that burned 4 quarts in just 1000 miles. The motor exploded months after the purchase and sat on the lot for 2 more months while I made payments. They charged me for a battery cause it died from sitting. They didn't recharge the AC and left me with every light on the dash. The cruise control also is not working or the trip reset. My husband and I have gone through a bunch of different dealerships over the years, and Northtown has by far been the worst experience we've had. My husband found a used car for sale on their website. Interested, he inquired online and received a response fairly quick by phone. My husband went to the dealership after work, took a test drive and sat with a salesman. A big sales push was used (which is to be expected), telling my husband they had a ton of inquiries on the car he was interested in and pushed for a down payment that day. My husband secured the down payment and was told that the car would be ready to pick up two days later. The day that my husband expected to pick up the car, he received a phone call from the dealership. They didn't have the title. He was advised that they had applied for the new title about two weeks prior and that they were expecting to receive it any day. We didn't understand how they could have a car for sale out on the lot if they were unable to legally sell it and did not have the most important piece of paper to go with it. In our opinion, it shouldn't have been out on the lot yet. My husband still agreed to purchase the vehicle. Yesterday (8/11/21), he signed the papers, officially made the purchase and brought the car home. He was advised by the salesman (when he originally went to look at the car and did the downpayment) that a warranty would be included free of charge. While looking over the paperwork, we found that he was charged $2,500 for that warranty. My husband got home with the car last night. After taking a ride in it, he decided to check the fluids and do a once over on everything. In doing this, he immediately noticed that the engine coolant reservoir had thick sludge and was about empty (see photos). Clearly the dealership did not check the coolant fluid level before selling the car. My husband turned the heat on in the car and was hit with the smell of antifreeze. He also noticed that only the driver side air gets hot while the passenger side wouldn't even get warm. We can't help but wonder what else went unchecked. The check engine light also kicked on this morning on my husband's way into work. My husband called the salesman he had dealt with this morning to inform him of what he had found. That salesman was off today but still took the time to speak with my husband. He was very apologetic about the situation and stated he would put in a phone call to the sales manager right away and to expect a call back. The sales manager did call back and left a voicemail since my husband was at work and was unable to take the call. My husband called him back before noon and never received another call. After work, he drove the car to the dealership. At the dealership, he was advised that the sales manager he had been trying to speak with had left for the day. My husband explained the situation to an employee who then grabbed the sales manager that was working. The sales manager went out to the car with my husband, took a look at the paste/sludge in the reservoir and advised my husband that he is not a technician. The sales manager then drove the car to their service department where they proceeded to fill it with more coolant without cleaning any of the sludge out. They returned the car to my husband within five minutes and told him that it should be fine and that he was all set, without even looking into why the check engine light was on. They advised him to bring the car back in Saturday (8/14). There is now sludge floating in the coolant. My husband also requested to be provided a loaner vehicle while the car is being worked on. The dealership agreed to provide a rental and said that it would be at no cost to my husband. However, my husband would have to provide/place his credit card on file in case of any incidentals. We are familiar with how rentals work, but we are hesitant to go that route because he was told that the warranty would be at no cost to him yet he was still charged for it. We have also had other dealerships in the past provide a loaner vehicle as a courtesy and provide excellent service. We are very disappointed with our experience so far, and the vehicle was just purchased yesterday. My husband will be taking the car in Saturday and providing an update on this review after the appointment. read more

I have given a few reviews on Northtown Kia but mostly for negative reasons. But I went to Northtown the other day and was blown away by customer service. Thomas Whitte and his team look care of me. There was communication all throughout the way, they went above and beyond to put my new wipers on and replace my registration sticker, both items I had when I got there but didn't have time to do it myself previously. Thomas came and talked me through everything not trying to up-sell me but helping to explain everything to me. This experience gave me hope for Northtown again. Nice staff but I had a bad experience. They made a lot of promises that turned out to be empty. I feel some of those put my family at risk, which is upsetting. I lost almost $600.00 in 10 days when 1 service visit turned into 3 service visits. This is the classic auto service shop situation where you take you car in for one thing, then you end up with damage to something else unrelated to the reasons for your original visit. I originally brought my car in for a state inspection and an oil change. While my car was being serviced the Service Advisor called me and recommended fuel injection and combustion chamber cleaning because of a misfire code that indicated a carbon buildup, and replacement of 2 tires. One thing he said about the fuel injection is that it would prevent my "check engine" light from coming on. Well it looks like it caused the light to go on. I usually say no to extra services, but the fuel injection sounded like good preventive maintenance and I thought it would be smart to replace the 2 tires since winter is coming up soon. The day after the service my "check engine" light came on for the first time ever. I've had my car for 4 and 1/2 years and I never had an engine related issue. I took it back for service the next day, the problem was fixed at no charge, and the check engine light went off. 7 days later the check engine light came on again!!! I took my car back to the shop the next day. The Service Advisor told me that the code this time was for the canister close valve and the oxygen sensor, they had to be replaced to make sure that the check engine light would go off and stay off, the total would be $670.00 but I wouldn't be charged for labor, but it would still cost me $438.63!!! In the 4 and 1/2 years that I've had my car my check engine light never came on, but it came on twice in 8 days after a cleaning and fuel injection that already cost me $132.95?!?!? This is a coincidence?!?!? I wanted the Service Advisor to acknowledge or admit that something they did at my first service could have caused this problem, but he told me that these parts would have needed replacement because of these issues anyway. None of this was covered under warranty. My car is a '08 Kia that I bought used in '09. What makes it even worse is that a family member who took his car to this shop this month also received the recommendations for fuel injection and replacement of 2 tires. He happened to take his car for service a few days after my initial service. Too bad I didn't talk to him until my car was being serviced for the 3rd time. He told me what they said to him - it was word for word what they said to me! The list of reasons they gave him for recommending fuel injection and 2 tires for his car was the same list of reasons they had given me for recommending fuel injection and 2 tires for my car! His car is a different year, different model, and has different mileage from mine. He said no to the extra services and his car is fine. It seems that the shop is following a script instead of giving individualized recommendations. Maybe these are their add-on services of the month. It seems that their recommendations are not personalized to your car's needs and they have a generic sales pitch that they give to every customer. What I learned is to always decline suggestions, no matter how good they sound. Do not let them perform a service that you did not ask for when you scheduled your appointment. If it won't put you in danger and you can pass inspection without it, don't do it. They're doing their job by trying to sell extra services, but you have to do your job as a customer and decline these services. They are not just service people, they are also sales people. That goes for this shop and any auto service shop. Some things that I found out too late, but I will remember in the future: If a service light comes on, you can go to a parts store like Auto Zone or Advanced Auto Parts and have them scan the code. The parts for which I paid over $400 can be purchased for about $100. When they cleaned the buildup from the combustion chamber during my first visit it must have clogged my oxygen sensor and caused the valve to stick. The cleaning might have loosened the buildup and caused it to settle into other parts, but it didn't remove the buildup. Also, Service Advisors / Service Writers are paid on commission. The age old question is this; "Would you pay less for a desirable product if the customer service was awful?" That is a gamble I was willing to take. Never again will I find myself in that boat. I recently leased my second vehicle from North Town Kia. The first experience I had there was okay, I liked my sales rep enough, and I thought the deal I was given was fair. In October 2014 I received an email from my sales rep, informing me that I was eligible for a lease pull ahead. I was interested, and when I went in AT MY GIVEN APPOINTMENT TIME, (important notice, I was not a walk in, saying F you to all other customers), my sales rep informed me that he was busy helping someone else, and he pawned me off on a new salesman. I was less than enthused to be getting help from someone other than the person who I had been in correspondence with over the past couple of days. The test drive was the opposite of admirable, being forced into a moving box with someone who was obviously new in his craft, with extra amounts of cheese, cornballs, and predictable comments, narrating my entire spin around the streets of Amherst. Despite this mans obvious short comings in trying to sell things, a deal was negotiated that was more than acceptable, a zero down situation where they would take my current lease, and my bill went up a very affordable amount. I was thrilled to get out of the awful hell fire of a cold industrial uncomfortable dealership, and drive to freedom under the rainbow on a new stallion of a kia soul. Things were well and good. I was bombing around town in my new soul, getting winks and waves. The women wanted to be with me and the men truly wanted to be me. Envy was thick in the air of Tonawanda, and I was the cool guy, the Austin Powers, the Wayne Campbell, and then my luck turned and I was nothing but the Love Guru. A month had gone by since I signed my new lease. I had not received either my permanent registration or any kind of finance info to pay Kia. I emailed my initial sales rep out of concern, and he again pawned my email off to the Junior Retail over zealous new sales guy. The cheese was flowing, I could taste thick gobs of foot cheese through my email from him, it was palpable and most unpleasing; like sucking liquid fermunda from an aerosol can. "Oh, sorry, we sent your registration to the wrong address. Hang tight for your payment stuff from Kia, they'll send it to you soon." Using the type of logic that has only been bestowed upon to those of who are Wizards, Warlocks, and Sages, I thought, "HMMMM... MAYBE IF YOU SENT MY REGISTRATION TO THE WRONG ADDRESS YOU ALSO TOLD KIA TO SEND MY FINANCE BOOK TO THE WRONG ADDRESS." Fortunately, my assumption was correct, unfortunately, whoever did end up receiving my payment book did not assume my payments. I will say, that my registration was mailed to me quickly, so Mr. Johnny Law, did not have to pull me over so I could relay my tales of woe to him. "Sam, It turns out we did give kia the wrong address. Hang tight, we'll fix it." Let me cut to the chase. It is now January 16th. I leased my car two days before Halloween. I still am missing a tool to pay Kia. I have talked to my original salesman, my JR salesman, and SOMEONE ELSE IN THE FREAKING BUILDING BECAUSE APPARENTLY HE WAS ZEUS, LORD GOD KING OF ALL THINGS LEASED UNDER KIA, AND HE WAS GOING TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. Not. Even. Once. Not even a little bit, sometimes, was this wrong corrected BY THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE WRONG. I finally got off the phone with Kia customer service, where I was able to access my account after answering approximately three million four hundred eighty nine thousand personal questions so they could make sure I was who I said I was. I can now pay my bill at ease, no thanks to North Town. SOME MAY SAY, "Why didn't you just start by calling Kia's customer service?" TO that I say, "Do you enjoy doing someone else's job for them? Does the business you work for pay you extra to do someone else's job who works for a different company?" The answer is no. No they do not pay you extra. In addition to jumping through hoops that have been engulfed in flame while dripping acid on your head, water boarding torture, and being forced to consume God awful instant coffee, I really despise the culture that North Town has set up for itself. I am a self appointed Alpha Male, with a beard, hair, burly booming voice, and pack of wild wolves that follow me wherever I go to prove it. The judgement that comes from the congregation of beta male prepubescent wanna be little kittens when you walk in the front door of North Town is ridiculous. It is like walking into a frat house. Its like I am Leonidas, and they are the wolf from the beginning of 300. They are the guys who picked on the nerds in high school and now the only thing that is interesting about them is that all of their poor qualities are the same. North Town, you need help. Wow - Just visited Northtown Kia yesterday 4/16/2019 - My wife and I test drove a Kia Telluride and Toyota Highlander. We liked both vehicles and asked to run the numbers for the Telluride. Our salesperson Minh was great. But we know the sales person has no control of any financial dealing. If I could give a half star I would. I have never been treated worse when looking to purchase a new vehicle! The Financial manager - I believe his name was Mike - came out and told us there was no way to get us in the Telluride - a $35,000 vehicle for less then $500 a month and wanted about $5,000 - 7,000 down. We had a GMC Acadia with 4 months left on our lease. He treated us like we were poor. Amazing, how a dealership would allow anything like this to happen. We asked about the current KIA incentives that I saw on-line. He knew absolutely nothing about them. I asked him if he was the finance manager - how does he not know the manufactures deals on the Kia Telluride. Isn't this a KIA dealership!!! He was very rude to my wife and myself. Of course - when we walked out of Northtown Kia - the sales manager never tried to talk to us or see what they can do to get us in a KIA. They didn't even contact us today - this is why we are making this review. After we left Northtown - we went and visited another dealer for Toyota - and was treated much better. We in turn not only purchased a NEW Toyota Highlander - but we were able to get a loaded XLE Highlander - with a price of $42,067 fully loaded. They also allowed us to take it overnight. I think the people at Northtown Kia have figured out that Customer Service brings people back. Our first Kia that we bought with Mike Manascalco was a great experience. Their service is second to none and they cater to you every step of the way. My last dealership made me feel that I was doing them a disservice by even being there. We recently purchased another Kia from Mike and as before was totally catered to buy them. Their sales are great their customer service is great and their follow up is great. DO NOT TRUST At the end of August I hastily put a deposit on a car that I thought was a steal. After doing my homework I realized it wasn't worth "the absolute lowest they could possibly go".. I returned September 3rd to get my deposit back. After filling out a form I was told, "you should receive your deposit by September 13th, if you don't give us a call." I called on September 16th and left multiple messages to the finance department, which is where I was sent each time, and no one returned my calls. I later texted my sales representative and he told me it takes a little longer than that to get a deposit back. I walked in on August 30th with cash and it's almost a month later and I don't have my money back from a "local" company. This is absolutely unacceptable. read more

Never buying from them again. The car is ok but their service is terrible. I had my new Niro for a year when it broke down. I was in Geneseo NY and called the dealership for help from Kia Care. The woman told me i was to far away for her to help. I asked her if I could get a loaner if I payed for a tow. She told me no. I was dumbfounded as I had asked when buying the car if they provide a loaner for involved repairs. I needed a car for work and to visit my terminally ill father. While I was broken down the local cops stopped and were hassling me to get the car off the side of the road. I told the Northtown associate that I really needed assistance in my year old car! She literally said "I don't know what you want me to do about it?" WTF? i hung up and the cops were literally threatening me with a ticket! They asked me were I going and I said "To visit my dying father" and named the medical facility and blinked back tears. This got them to actually behave humanly and they told me to take my car to Dorschel in Rochester and they gave me the # of a tow company. I was heartbroken as I had no idea how I was going to see my terminally ill father without a car I he was an hour and a half from Buffalo. When I got to Dorschal with my Niro. THEY GAVE ME A LOANER. I didn't even buy my car from them. I ended up having the loaner for over a month and my car needed some serious repairs. Dorshel did all of this for free when Northtown did absolutely nothing to help me. So in short do not buy from Northtown. When my car I bought from Toyota of Batavia broke down an hour away from Batavia they offered to come get it and fix it. The car had over 250,000 miles on it And I had purchased 10 years ago. It turned out to be the battery and I didn't call Toyota of Batavia back but they called me genuinely worried that I was stranded. Both these dealerships displayed actual service to their customers but Northtown is a crap dealership. Today they quoted me over a months wait for a car inspection! Over a month wtf? Apparently Northtown Kia is doing so brilliantly, they no longer require new business. Visited the showroom tonight to take a look at the new 2020 Telluride, as I've only seen it on TV thus far. When I walked it, I was barely acknowledged by the young guy (Guy1) leaning on one of the showroom vehicles. So I approached the front desk and was "helped" by Guy2 who said he'd get someone to assist me. He then proceeded to ask Guy1 who had ignored me when I entered the dealership, who confirmed he wasn't available. Guy2 disappeared into the back. Within a couple minutes Guy3 introduced himself as the manager of the dealership and inquired about what I was looking for. I confirmed again that I was interested in seeing the Telluride, as I had only seen them on TV and was planning on purchasing a new vehicle within the next 30-60 days. He then instructed Guy2 to help me. Guy2 came up to me and I had to repeat, again, why I was there. Guy2 awkwardly stated he would pull one around. So I waited. And waited. And waited. I waited for over 20 mins in the showroom. In front of MULTIPLE other sales people who were too busy to assist me, but seemed only interested in chatting with one another. 3 other prospective buyers came in and were whisked away to the back. Apparently they had appointments. After waiting for over 20 mins, I returned to the desk, which was maybe 15' away from where I had been standing and advised Girl1 that I "didn't want to just walk away without telling someone," but that "I have been waiting for over 20 minutes and didn't realize it was going to be so complicated to take a look at a vehicle, or that they were simply too busy to assist me." As I was walking away, Guy4, another salesman, who had joined Girl1 at the front desk stated, "Sir, can I help you?!" To which I replied, "no, don't worry about it. I guess I'll head to another dealer" and proceeded to walk out. Interesting treatment of a customer, who confirmed he was in the market for a $45k vehicle and had planned to purchase one in the near future. I suppose you simply didn't need my business, or I didn't look like a prospective enough customer for you. Guess I'll head to West Herr Auto Group next time. Thanks for nothing. Zero stars. read more
