By the end of just one session, they had me down to a 5% miss rate, missing only 1 out of 20 shots. They took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense, corrected my mistakes without making me feel embarrassed, and built my confidence along the way. This was a great learning experience. Oxford taught really well. Went with two other friends and was given the same amount of attention. I've been shooting before but I'm glad I got lessons from him anyway, as I found it easier to be able to shoot and got more information and comfortable with the gun after. Oxford was really patient with all of us. even if we keep "messing up". "slow and steady" was not really in my vocabulary but it was sure in Oxford's but never once did he get mad or even slow slightly mad about it. Just gentle reminders. Lots to like here. I could have burned lots of expensive ammo/range time and not progressed like I did today. Better to pay for good training early on. While I already knew the basics of operating my pistol, I was not a good shot. Oxford's teaching methods had me grasping and executing better techniques quickly and I feel like I remember it all. Oxford provided excellent guidance and feedback, and helped me noticeably increase my accuracy just with the first session.
