Unlike many other unrelated classes and trainings I have attended where the instructor struggles to captivate the classes attention, Mike knows how to do it. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, professional, passionate and enthusiastic in his approach. He knows how and when to engage with individuals. Some individuals may be overwhelmed or intimidated going into such critical and important training, but Mike treats each person with respect and kindness while still being able to stress the gravity of the information he teaches you. On the shooting course, Mike clearly gives step by step instructions for each phase while continuously emphasizing the importance of safety. I noticed him also giving great tips and advice ensuring the shooters are the most comfortable and confident they can be during the course of action. It's not uncommon to come across some big egos in the realm of firearms, so it was especially refreshing having an instructor who is very approachable and humble. This range is one of the greats! I took my family here on a weekend morning to shoot my pistols, and it was such a welcoming and awesome experience. Not just for me, an experienced shooter, but also my family who are inexperienced. Our shooting bay was outdoor, with adjustable distance targets(provided), and good range safety systems in place. The RSO's were awesome - safe, friendly, and efficient. Huge shout out to Doug and Troy for helping make it such a welcoming, safe and friendly atmosphere. It really elevated the experience, especially compared to the RSO attitude at some other bay area ranges. My parents probably enjoyed talking to them more than the actual shooting! Again, I have to emphasize the people here are amazing, and the range is clean, safe and operated well. I didn't appreciate a RSO standing right behind me breathing down my neck while the line was hot. Some of the staff need to take a course in customer relations.

Michelle helped me out with paperwork and she was super friendly. They both treated me very well and were very helpful when it came to helping me with my transaction. While their transfer fee is the most I've ever paid, it's important for me to support local shops like this, and because they're appointment only, it feels good to be the only person in the store. Overall, I plan to have all of my future online purchases go through this shop. This is an A+ establishment.
