Just completed my CCW initial 16hr course this weekend with Mike Kenner. Mike is the man, and…read morewithout a doubt my go to for future needs. I will be recommending him to everyone I know looking into any type of firearms training. Unlike many other unrelated classes and trainings I have attended where the instructor struggles to captivate the classes attention, Mike knows how to do it. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, professional, passionate and enthusiastic in his approach. He knows how and when to engage with individuals. Some individuals may be overwhelmed or intimidated going into such critical and important training, but Mike treats each person with respect and kindness while still being able to stress the gravity of the information he teaches you. On the shooting course, Mike clearly gives step by step instructions for each phase while continuously emphasizing the importance of safety. I noticed him also giving great tips and advice ensuring the shooters are the most comfortable and confident they can be during the course of action. It's not uncommon to come across some big egos in the realm of firearms, so it was especially refreshing having an instructor who is very approachable and humble. This morning, before today's curriculum began, we debriefed on the range qualification yesterday. He shared his view and any needed advice with each of us, as well as giving us each a chance to share our own thoughts, feedback, and even suggestions. Thank you Mike, for making us all feel welcomed, and sharing your time to teach us such invaluable information. Until Next Time!

What an incredible training experience!…read more From the moment I first reached out, Dan answered right away and even created a detailed training plan I could share with my department -- his professionalism really stood out. Louie, Barry, and Theo made me feel so welcome throughout the course. Louie showed true patience and care, saying something that stuck with me: "I measure my success by the success of each student." Barry was my quiet "whisper" when it came to taking each shot -- his calm guidance and expertise made a huge difference. And Theo, thank you for lending me the equipment I needed to train safely and confidently. This wasn't just a class -- it was a confidence-building, skill-sharpening experience. It seems silly, but your child may someday come upon a gun or be handed one by a dumb friend. Accidents happen and people do stupid things. Kelly taught all 4 of my kids and my wife (and me) how to handle a pistol safely how to operate it safely, how a range operates. How to fire them safely and accurately. I think this is something they'll remember their entire lives. It may seem silly, but these are really life lessons that should be taught young.
