Jose came out and gave us an estimate that included burying the downspouts to avoid water dumping on the new patio. He was prompt, communicative, and gave us an estimate in a few days. We scheduled them to come the following week. He and his brother showed up right on time, and promptly began digging things out. I was impressed with what they were able to do in a single day. Because rain was in the forecast, they were flexible on coming back a second day to screed the final paver base. It rained particularly hard and it became clear that there was an issue somewhere. When they came back a few days later, I pointed it out to Jose and he promptly dug out the spot and ensured it was properly filled in and compacted. They finished the job and cleaned up. After the first day, they left the site relatively clean (considering they knew they'd be back). Overall, I would 100% recommend these guys and would love to have them back to do additional projects at our home. They were responsible, competitively priced, and wanted to ensure things were done right.

Originally, I thought patching the inside of the basement would suffice. I found Complete Paving & Masonry on Yelp, and reached out; Jerry responded very quickly and was able to come by to provide a visual inspection and a quote. He recommended that work needs to be done on the outside in order to fix the inside. We took a walk around the outside and he provided points of what work needed to be done. Essentially, he recommended to dig up the dirt around the foundation; patch and seal the foundation; put in some gravel and then cover it up with dirt. This would help prevent water from leaking through the foundation into the basement/garage. After conversing with my fellow condo neighbor, we hired Jerry's team to do the work. Within a week, they were able to come on site and start the work. It took them 4 days to do the work (original quote was 3-5 days). Jerry and his team did a magnificent job. They went above and beyond the original estimate's work at no extra charge to improve the water flow surrounding the condo. They also did some additional patch work on the outside of the condo. When the job was completed, Jerry walked me through everything his team did and why it was done, so I was able to understand the reason for the work. Jerry is friendly, honest, and provides top notch service. I highly recommend his team for any mason work.

I got a little disheartened and called my realtor and I ended up getting in contact with Jamison. Jamison is very professional and best of all will answer all of your questions promptly. My project wasn't that straight forward and had many different facets to it but he managed to deliver on all fronts. My biggest worry was matching the color of the new addition to the old concrete. Jamison underpromised but over delivered. It matched the old part of the wall perfectly. The project was on schedule and the crew cleaned up the site and now I have a beautiful raised seawall heading into the winter storm season. In terms of pricing, while Jamison wasn't the lowest quote, he provided the best value. His crew was able to install flood planks and do pipe work that other installers were hesitant to do. And the true measure of a contractor and a professional is how they handle themselves when problems arise. The flood planks ended up being installed a few steps down from what was initially proposed but when I pointed this out, Jamison corrected the problem no questions asked. We went to the show, and put our name into a couple of hats. Only 3 got back to us, Leo, almost immediately, the other 2 within several months (I've yelped and Angie Listed them for their questionable customer service...) Wall definitely needed more than cosmetics - safety and aesthetics - drainage needed to be redone, stones replaced and wall was falling forward...we wanted it fixed. We contacted 3 service providers 2 which didnt even BOTHER to come back with a quote - we are tough negotiators and although we knew the work would cost more than we led them to believe, we wanted to start at a reasonable point and open to suggestions. Leo not only came when he said he would, he was patient with his back and forth negotiation process. Not having heard from the other 2 vendors and feeling his base price was reasonable, checked out other work and listened to his recommendations, we went with FieldStone Pro. They tore down, and rebuilt, recycled our old stone as requested, expanded our yard work, fixed some of the old delapidated areas and delivered a beautiful expanded patio and double tier stone wall (we originally had one tier), that come spring and the added green, is a true "wow" view from our dining room and breakfast nook! Gorgeous work! They delivered on time, cost and schedule what they promised. They exceeded expectations. They had a little incident during the work but they didn't leave us hanging - they kept us informed and made up for lost time.
