We have worked with I-Con construction in the past so we called again when we spotted a leak and…read moreneeded minor carpentry and painting on the exterior of our 200-year-old home. Ralph Strollo was professional and very prompt returning our calls and coming to provide us an estimate. Work was completed on time and within budget. A worry we all have when tackling a construction/repair project is that the work is done satisfactorily. In this case we were not happy with some of the paint work. Ralph immediately came to assess the issue and made arrangements for necessary repairs to be made. Once again, we are very satisfied with the outcome of this project. We feel confident recommending I-Con.

He first consulted with us and give us his ideas and was very accommodating to our ideas as well. I was going through some health issues and that was causing more stress then usual and Todd and his son went above and beyond and stayed extra and worked hard to complete it in a timely manner but also did great work. I would highly recommend and appreciate his efforts to help us get back to normal.

We had big problems with our home improvement project with Todd Regine and his company Edge…read moreServices. He was recommended by close family, seemed to be an honest and nice guy with a track record of home improvement. The project was a remodel of a master bathroom. It involved demo of the existing one, moving and installing a new custom shower, tile work, moving a window, painting, installing a vanity etc. The demo went well and then it was slowly downhill from there. The shower floor-plan Todd designed did not allow for a traditionally mounted glass door. There was a window to move to make room for the shower and it was not moved to the right place and we were not told until after it was done. The bench in the shower is not square or level and the tile job has broken tiles. The tile floor was not installed properly and over 50% of it has uneven spots, loose tile and broken grout. The paint is not even and showed color variances on edges, the vanity lights are not centered and uneven. There is more but I won't continue as this is too much already. Yes- this is a lot to mention. Todd did not want to accept responsibility for his work and make it right and complete the job. Instead he kept saying we walked on the bathroom floor and its our fault while never addressing all of the other poor work or finishing the job. The communications to discuss fixing the work broke down and at this point because of how his contract reads we have paid for 90% of the project but will now have to hire outside professionals to fix and finish the job.

They responded to my post the same day - the next day they were here and took care of the job of clearing out the large pile. The price was more than fair and the guys did a great job, but what really impressed me is that they were running late due to a job taking longer than expected. They called me to let me know they were still coming. Arrived at the end of the day, sun going down, but rather than reschedule - they came. Well done! They will be the first I call for my next yard (or even stone) need.

Candido and his colleague recently established proper drainage around a corner of the house where…read morewater was getting into the foundation and the basement. In his initial assessment, Candido identified all areas which were contributing to the problem and explained what he would do and why (every contractor should do this but it doesn't always happen). He also identified an area contributing to ingress of water to the house that two other contractors missed. His estimate was extremely fair (one contractor quoted a total of $24k for the same solutions). The work was started within days of agreement on the scope of work and it was completed within 1.5 days. Work included excavating and installation of a dry well, regrading and relaying a stone path, and partial repaving of the driveway. He and his colleague even cleared a gutter and replaced and repitched some existing drainage on the side of the house. No trash or mess was left behind after the work was done. It's been a few weeks since the installation and repairs and am relieved to see no water coming into the basement even after several downpours and no damp basement walls. I'm happy we went with Candido and would gladly work with him again on another project.
