If you want quality work, excellent communication, and ease of mind, hire Build Pros. We originally wanted to have our microwave vented out (rather than circulating air and grease in the kitchen) and add a second banister to the stairs to the basement to make them more safe for our growing toddler. We were also considering having our spare basement bathroom remodeled. The bathroom really wasn't very functional because it was built in pieces (so the gross tiny stall shower wasn't even in the bathroom). That was a big job, and we wanted to get a quote for all three pieces. The first two jobs were too small on their own, so we hired Build Pros for all three. They were amazing to work with, and the work they did was the highest of quality. The team was extremely communicative, and we always knew when they were coming, what they were doing next, and what to expect. Their spreadsheet system made it really easy for everyone to keep track of what we had selected, costs, etc. They helped us a ton with design decisions, made recommendations when appropriate, and made sure we were happy with absolutely everything before moving forward. Our house stayed unbelievably clean, given the level of work they were doing, throughout the process. Mike and Rouben were fantastic at reimagining the layout of our bathroom, taking all of our priorities into consideration. John, their carpenter, is a master. We went way over budget, but a lot of that was my fault. I wanted a bathroom that was functional, but the more we talked and designed, the more I realized we actually could get a really *nice* bathroom that wasn't just functional, but high end. They did a bunch of other random things in the area too. We just were so happy with their work, and they were already there, so we asked them to fit in a few small things and they were awesome in getting those done too (adding a couple outlets in the adjacent home gym, replacing our outdoor water spigots, etc.). We are extremely happy with the final products. We even had a water problem shortly after they finished. They fixed it swiftly with no charge. It might have been a part issue or a labor issue, and so in the beginning it was unclear whether we were going to have to pay for repairs right away. I would have been very disappointed if they had charged us, and have all the more confidence in them since they fixed it and stood by the work and warranty. The only real negative was that sometimes when we had to make a decision, and the team gave us a quick "off the cuff" estimate about how much a few different options would cost, the estimate was really a fair amount lower than estimated. That contributed to some of our cost increase, but in the end I think we would have made the same decisions regardless. We're extremely happy with the final products. We even hired them again and they're starting work at my mother-in-laws house this week! I'm already dreaming of putting an addition on our house in the future, and we will hire them absolutely if/when we do this.

At the last minute I found BuildPROS and because of their excellent reviews, gave them a call. Rouben is a contractor that actually returned calls and texts throughout the process. The team was efficient, extremely neat and pricing was very transparent. He gave me some great ideas as we were making our selections and kept in touch throughout the process. Dan did the majority of the work and was very neat and clean and trustworthy. We are very pleased with the final result and I would use BuildPROS again in the future.

The morning of the project start you meet the project manager (in my case Jeff R) and discuss anything that concerns you. Crew arrives, dumpster and material get delivered. I came home for lunch and it appeared a bomb went off (in a good way), entire perimeter of the house was covered in tarps and anything fragile was covered to protect, the main house was striped and shingled except for the front portico. My shed was stripped and was going to be complete after lunch. I came home from work and everything was picked up and put back in place. There were a few perennials that were damaged (no problem they will grow back), bear in mind landscaping was covered with a tarp, ladders and bundles of shingles are heavy. The crew uses a large pull behind magnet to pick up nails, all we found was 1 nail = great job. My wife and I could not be happier and can't wait for the rest of the work to be done. I would highly recommend Marshall B&R!

Our 40 year old ranch home in Oakland Beach needed the wooden (T-111) siding replaced badly. After…read more3 hurricanes, a tornado and even a few small earthquakes, it was time for an upgrade. We were thrilled to be able to book Storm-Tite Home Improvement to do the job. It was the best investment we ever made in our home, which we plan to stay in. The pandemic had set us back from our original plans to start the job in Spring of 2020. Lumber kept rising and building costs soared. Frustrated with waiting any longer and fearful that wood rot and bees would continue to plague us aging seniors (along with the Covid pandemic) we went in search of a quality reputable contractor. As seniors, we were fearful of being taken advantage of by con artists who prey on the elderly. We settled on Ed Ladouceur's Storm-Tite company, after many glowing word of mouth reviews, and after visiting a job site in progress nearby. From first contact it was a home run. Ed responds quickly to your calls. He will come to your home and assess your needs and work up an estimate in a timely manner. He's professional, friendly and not a high pressure salesman. He has a whole team of pros to attend to all the needs of your remodeling job. Storm-Tite also has a store front in Warwick where you can peruse different product lines in person, safely. He's got top-notch carpenters, siding installers, electricians, window installers, roofers---everything you need. Storm-Tite uses only the best products. We had a variety of siding styles and brands to choose from. Ed helped us save money and still achieve the curb appeal we desired by combining products when the cost of using the premium product for the entire job climbed out of reach. He shows up everyday on the job site to check in with the crew. I liked that we discussed underlying problems (rot) that were found and corrected them before the house wrap went on. You will not get a one man band. You are hiring an entire competent and friendly team to get the job done quickly. They supply port-a-John so workers are not traipsing through your house, and all debris is trucked away daily. The yard was left spotless. Every detail was worked out from what style window to the doorbells, lighting fixtures and hose bibs. The installation was done off season and workers showed up everyday rain or shine. To Charlie, Richard, Tawn, Steve and rest of the gang---thank you for your integrity, skill, and professionalism! We had complete vinyl (Norandek) siding in "Steel Blue" installed (with full Certenteed insulation wrap), matching blue steel awning over our air conditioner, 3 Harvey replacement windows, 2 custom built storm doors, all new rain gutters with leaf guards and downspouts, Invisiguard beaded soffits and all new vinyl-alloy trim in white. Our house is 34x26. The 10x10 shed was sided to match. Storm-Tite is not cheap, but remember: you get what you pay for. Do it right and you only have to do it ONCE! Worth every penny. The entire job was under $36,000. The best! More stars if I could.

The previous owners actually jacked the thing up and moved in forward about twenty feet and reinforced the basic structure but never got around to fixing up the rest of the venerable old building. Since this work was far beyond my feeble abilities, some neighbors recommended Stormtite since they did a good job in restoring their old house. They weren't the cheapest company but they were experienced in working on old buildings and did an excellent job on my neighbors house. Once I called, a guy from Stormtite came right out, gave us an estimate on price and how long it would take to complete the job and shortly after got right to work. Contractors are notorious for being unreliable and many people have horror stories of workers starting the job and then disappearing for a few weeks. Fortunately Stormtite were very professional and complete the job on schedule and on price. We ended up being extremely happy with the work. Everything was exactly like they said it would be. They cleaned up fairly well and didn't leave too much of a mess but I did end up finding quite a few nails around the yard. Not big deal, I just went around with a magnet roller and got them all before any damage was done. Now our cool old carriage house looks nice, is water tight and looks like it will last another hundred and twenty years. It's nice to find a company that actually does what it says it will do, with no hidden costs or delays.
