A few days later a couple guys came out, ripped off the warping shingles and replace them. I will give it a couple days to settle in and post new pictures of the repair. Initially contractor exceeded my expectations with his great crew and quick completion. HOWEVER,…read morethe job did not COMPLETELY address all that was needed. In the end, it was my fault overlooking the fact that the contract did not address a portion of the house, but then, I'm not a contractor and I just assumed he had quoted me for the whole job. He did graciously agree to finish the remainder for me for the cost of materials in light of the fact that I had been instrumental in getting him 2 more customers. I handed over $450 without question as I had no reason not to trust him based on the service I had gotten to that point. Time rolled on - AND ON - and he didn't come claiming it was a small job and he would work it in "soon". Finally 12-weeks later we decided to sell the house and asked him to simply refund the $. He agreed and promised to meet me the following week. He didn't show. Then he started dodging my calls and texts. Finally he claimed that he had already purchased the material and he had to return it to get me my $ back. (Don't believe it for a minute, but okay.) Then he claimed company wouldn't take it back. THEN he said business had slowed (Duh! It's New England and that's what happens as winter arrives!) and it would take him time to come up with the $. Meanwhile, I'm moving to another state and it appears he's trying to wait me out so I have no recourse. I really, really, really, need this money as moving is causing us great financial distress and it would help so much. I'm disappointed as I like this guy very much. Loved his wife and his crew was terrific too. It's a shame that my 5-star review turned negative because he was shady with my money. I gave him many chances to make it right. He's had my money since June, it's now almost November. Time enough to figure out how to refund $450!!!!!!!!

They replaced a 29 year old concrete shingle roof in two days without incident. The workers were diligent and skilled. The cleanup was thorough. A company representative contacted each of the neighbors to insure that no one was inconvenienced by the activity.
