I needed a number of items like a phone holder, water holder, helmet, and more. But they made some really good suggestions based on what I needed. Plus, I got a discount when I bought the bike accessories with the bike, which saved me even more money. I also checked out two of their other locations, and each one had a great selection of bikes and a nice space for bike repairs. In GB, I spoke to one of the techs about parts inventory and turnaround time, and I was really impressed with all of the answers. Look, there's always going to be a cheaper place to buy something, but I want to pay a fair price to a company that won't let me down when I need to maintain my bike.

She took her time fitting us to the bike, explaining how they worked and the route and allowing us to test ride. The rental for two hours was $60 per person or half day (4 hours) for $70 per person. We enjoyed the quiet ride along Housatonic river. The roads the route was along had very little traffic. We saw many people walking. We also got to enjoy the covered bridge and the bridge on Water street as well as the waterfalls. It was just saw a lovely day. 10/10 recommend this rental location and the scenic route.

Shane, the bike repairman, not only tuned it up but fixed a few things I didn't even realize had been impeding my bike's performance and i received a bike back that was running and riding better than when it was brand new. Went directly from the trailhead to Overlook Mountain Bikes. The store was buzzing with customers but I was quickly welcomed and taken care of. The guys at Overlook were promptly able to diagnose and fix my issues. I fully expected to have to leave the bike and come back a week or two later, but I was able to take my new bike for its inaugural ride only a few hours later than scheduled. On a Saturday afternoon I took the bike to Bicycle Center with the hope I could pick it up Monday so my wife and I could continue our busy biking plans for the week. I was met at the back door and immediately ushered in when Sean, the owner, asked what was the problem. Bottom line: Sean took out a 3-Allen wrench tool and fixed the problem in 30 seconds, no charge! How professional and nice was that!! Before relocating to Arizona I had taken my bikes to Bicycle Center for 10 years and gotten excellent service at competitive pricing. I needed repairs on my bike, so I came by on a random weekend and the staff gave me no issues. They were upfront about the price, and potential work it needed. They said they would call me to let me know if anything beyond what I approved needed to be done. I had no appointment, but they texted me within a few days to say that the work had been done and my bike was ready for pick up. They were able to repair my bike without having the replace any parts, and they just charged me for the labor (which was a very fair rate). Overall a very smooth experience. I watched the staff interact with regulars, and it seems like they have a solid customer base. I especially appreciated the transparency on pricing, and not pressuring me to do more work than I needed, or pushing a new bike for a sale.
