Now granted, that dry cleaners is eco-friendly and what they were charging was $40 a panel. $320 in the end? For curtains? No. While Scanlon's on Ulster Ave in Kingston, NY isn't organic, they came in at $15 a panel. Done deal. Scanlon's is what you would want from a cleaners: tidy, offers same day dry cleaning, ironing+laundry services and has a detail website highlighting other services such a leather and Ugg cleaning, wedding dress services, etc. Do ask about repair+mending services- if any. Hubs chose his shirts to be hung instead of boxed when he dropped off them off. Unlike other cleaners where you pay when you pick up your clothes, here, you have to pay(?) upfront when you drop off your clothes. Regardless, Chris and his team actually gave my linen curtains the care they deserve and hubs' shirts had a nice crisp to them. The turnaround time was great between dropping my curtains off and picking them up. Hassle-free, prompt and great pricing.

We needed my Wife's company patch sewn onto her camera bag from the Wandrd Bag company. The owner…read moreJimmy greeted us warmly and let us know that he outsourced tailoring so was unsure if the job could be done due to the intricacies in the bag's structure. Jimmy offered to hold the bag and patch for the tailor's arrival the next day to confirm whether or not it could be done and quoted us $15. He advised we call the next day to confirm that the bag was accepted by the tailor. When we called, Jimmy let us know that the tailor had accepted the bag and it was on schedule for pick up in 5 days. Upon pickup we were quite excited to see the finished product and happy to report that the patch was securely sewn to the bag. The stitching wasn't perfect but we understood that the bag was hard to sew with a regular sewing machine, so no biggie, it had been glued on previously. Happy with the service, my Wife decided to also get her larger backpack style camera bag decked out with its own logo patch. Would I recommend Bridgeview Cleaners? Absolutely. Firstly, Mr Lee is the nicest most pleasant person you could ever hope to meet. The clothes always look great, ready when he says they'll be and NO SMELL. There is plenty of parking and his prices are competitive. The dry cleaning is perfect.

There are very few places to go these days for custom suits, tuxedo's and alterations - especially…read moreones that are not expensive corporate stores. Mario delivers an old school charm and ability to do just about everything. Mario is an Italian immigrant who spent many years in this industry including working at West Point and fitting/altering cadet uniforms. I've trusted him enough to fit me for my wedding tuxedo, and subsequent visits have had him alter other clothes, customize a suit, and order tuxedo's for other events. Compared to renting tuxedo's form "Men's Warehouse," Mario is much more trustworthy in his approach to measuring and making sure everything fits when it arrives. His prices are also fair and everything is received promptly He essentially runs the business in his house (separate side entrance) off of Titusville road. If you blink you may miss it, so look for the sign on his front yard (took a picture of it when I stopped by today). If you're looking for something to be made custom for you, a tux for a wedding/prom/event, or need some clothes adjusted, he is exceptional at what he does and I highly recommend you see him
