Really cool store. Lots of conics, cards, some toys, cool collectibles, nice staff, prices are normal for card stores. I picked up a few Star Wars comics. Really cool place ill go back for sure.

Card that's worth $650

Ask the Community - Bases Cards and Comics

Hello. Do you guys buy comics books or help with cleaning and pressing? Well I am interested in…

We grade comics through CGC. If you want , you can have your comic cleaned and pressed. It takes about 35 days once you bring us your comic. I would have to know what you're grading to be able to give you an accurate price. It's a lot easier to… Read more

Do you guys buy or trade trading cards from customers or do you just sell them?

We buy sealed boxes and cases

Hi what kind of warhammer/tabletop stuff do you guys sell? I noticed there is a rack for Citadel paints and you also sell dice. Do you also sell WH products? What about preorders?

We do sell WH and absolutely we can order or pre-order most anything you want. FYI, we're usually about 15% off the WH retail price on pre-orders. Hope that helps.

Do they sell board games?

Yes

Is there yu-gi-oh or pokemon tournament?

There is a Yu-gi-oh tournament every Thursday and another every Saturday. Give us a call at 942-1396 for more details. Thanks

What days and times are you open?

We're open seven days a week from 10-6

I was wondering if you guys will be selling the newest Gold sarcophagus 2019 Mega tin Cases for yugioh the one that comes with 12 mega tins inside?

Absolutely!! The tins arrived this morning and cost $19.99 per tin

If you haven't gone here you need to go. I wish I stayed there longer, but I was on a strict schedule. The atmosphere is creative and welcoming, with a cool artistic vibe that makes browsing so much fun! The staff clearly knows their stuff and are passionate about books and art. The store was super clean , well organized and easy to navigate through, when with such uniqueness. Overall experience was so unique, I wish i had more time to enjoy the cafe, games and books. Plan on staying here for at least an hour. I love this place! Found it by accident.

After a rainy day in Glendale I looked up the sorts of places I like to visit typically when I'm in…read moreor around greater LA. I was disappointed to see record stores have dried up, but when I looked up comic book stores, this was near the top, and close to where I had lunch. Street parking is fairly easy, and I didn't realize that the first door I passed was another entrance to a café looking area. However, the main entrance was a visually impressive experience in its own right. Full of stimuli basically, that's assured at Revenge of... (the Nerds? Supes?). Love the name! In addition to comics and usual toys and nicknacks, I was delighted to find not one, but two areas devoted to pinball machines! Additionally, the interior design evokes lots of classic (e.g. Silver and Bronze Age) artwork. X-Men and Spider-Man definitely influenced the architectural approach. It's impressive and lends a fun vibe, as well as atmospheric lighting. Two café counters in different areas allow for drinks to be purchased, and lots of nooks and crannies have things ranging from vinyl records, board games, a discounted graphic novels area, as well as recent comic titles and weekly releases (typically on Wednesdays). The back issues are found in X shaped fixtures and spaced in a clever arrangement that simultaneously encourages and enhances browsing, and yet doesn't clutter the walking areas. I found several missing issues for my Conan the Barbarian run, and everything is bagged and boarded (archival terms), so that's good. I didn't explore the pinball machines as I was pressed for time, but I definitely see myself visiting when I'm nearby in the future.
