This is a review for the current owners & Dr Schulte…read more I can assure you this is the WORST Endodontic office you could possibly consider. If you choose to go here, you do so at your own physical and financial peril. Below is my wife's story, I feel absolutely awful that I haven't shared this sooner because we just found out that a dear friend went here for a root canal that also ended up getting infected, and they used one of the other Doctors in the practice. Clearly, the entire office is incompetent. Boulder area folks - do yourself a favor and avoid this office at all costs. Head 15 minutes right up diagonal highway and go to Endodontic Specialists of Northern Colorado instead. Dr. Milroy has been an absolute Godsend in helping my wife out of the horror that Dr. Schulte inflicted. I'll share the kicker to the whole story after you read my wife's experience, but just know that our experience landed my wife in the Hospital with out of pocket medical bills of almost 7 thousand dollars. Enjoy: ------ The negligence I experienced from Dr Schulte and his practice was every person's nightmare of a horrendous dental experience. I would NEVER use this doctor or practice again and feel it is my duty to warn others as well. While Dr Schulte is a nice man his root canal and after care landed me in the hospital for four days culminating in an invasive surgery on my jaw, mouth and neck. What began as a routine root canal ended up in over three months of procedures and appointments. During my appointment he used a novocaine technique that was extremely invasive and that my current endo says she uses only as a last resort and ALWAYS follows up with an antibiotic. I had bleeding that would not stop and the procedure that normally takes 30-45 minutes took over two hours. The instant my novocaine wore off I knew something was wrong. I called his office the next morning asking about infection. Many times he insisted I did not have one. I was given steroids which not only aggravated the pain but caused me several sleepless nights. My pain was off the charts. I went back in and he did another xray. Checking both that tooth and the other near it. He once again said that he felt there was no infection and sent me home with pain meds. When the pain meds did not touch the pain I called again. He told me I had to get through the weekend and that it was likely that I was just super sensitive. I asked again about infection and he said no. Woke up next day to swelling. And then the next day my face was three times normal size and I had 104.7' fever. We called the on call doctor who put me on antibiotics. Never once did Schulte call himself. We had to call the office several times on Monday and call the on call Dr again (who is in a different practice) to even get a call back. He then recommended I stay on this though I was no better. Next day we called again to get him to change the meds. When my throat began to feel swollen we went to the ER. A CT scan showed three abscesses and my fever was still 103. I was transported to a hospital an hour away by ambulance where I received countless rounds of IV antibiotics for a septic like infection and a surgery and drains placed in my neck to drain the infection. I am still undergoing care for the damage done to my mouth and jaw. To say it was a nightmare is an understatement. We amicably asked for his help in paying the outrageous hospital bills and have been given the run around much like his after care! While I am aware that infection is a risk it is not the fact that I got one that is my issue. It is the fact that he neglected to listen to me when I told him something was clearly wrong. I had three abscesses by the time I got to the hospital in my jaw, neck and mouth. He was completely negligent yet insists I received the standard of care he would give his family. Wow. He must not like his family!! Clearly I would NOT recommend this practice! ------ Here's the nail in the coffin to this horror tale - only in our after care post surgery X-rays did we come to find out that HE DID THE ROOT CANAL ON THE WRONG TOOTH! Dr. Schafer was fantastic with her overall chairside care!!! Dr. Schafer and Nicole chatted with me throughout the appointment and kept me informed of next steps in the procedure. I never felt the initial shot for numbing and even having the temp crown made was painless. I felt very included in my appointment (which can be very rare when you see the dentist). We flew him home the next day, and the doctor met us at her office after hours on a weekend to assess him and help manage his pain. The result was nothing short of magical. Dr. Schafer is a true artist, and her kind, confident demeaner made a traumatic experience less terrifying. True to her word, my son's beautiful smile was (temporarily) restored within the hour. I have always known she is an amazing dentist, but this experience really showed her artistry, professionalism, and genuine kindness. I wouldn't go to any other dentist, and neither would my son! He will be flying home for follow-up treatments to restore his smile permanently. Thank you, Dr. Schafer. You truly are the best in the business.

They have state-of-the-art equipment, and they made my new crown right there at the facility, so no waiting, no temporary crown. The office is beautiful, the staff incredibly friendly and service-oriented and the hygienists are always thorough, professional and courteous. I always get great tips each time I go as well as a complete review of how my teeth are doing. They're great with kids too! My daughter's have been going there since they were 5. I had an awful experience with a dental group in Broomfield which left me never wanting to visit a dental office AGAIN. Sheri at the front desk made me feel right at home, so much so, I didn't even need to visit the office first before telling my friends they needed to hop on this train. They have a super easy online application option that was much less laborious than other crap applications I am used to completing with dental. The industry is still working on coming out of the dark ages so I really appreciated this! Spoiler alert- my intuition was right on! The office is beautiful, high tech, clean and oh so welcoming. No bleach beige hospital feels here. The beautiful aquarium full of tropical fish had me wanting to hang out all day. Dr. Wehking met me in the waiting area within a few minutes of check-in and gave me a tour of the office. Each room is carefully decorated to make you feel like you're in your trendier home away from home. Everyone had a gorgeous smile on their face and seemed to genuinely LOVE what they were doing, what a concept. There were beautiful mature plants in the rooms which is just so refreshing to see and a stark contrast from what I have been used to. Everything about the energy in that office put me at ease. Dr. Wehking and her staff were ultra thorough with their examination and charting. They took more rads and photos than I have ever had during any appointment, it really made me feel like no stone was being left unturned. It was obvious to me that the standard of care here exceeds today's "normal dental standards". I was never made to feel rushed and at no point did I feel that I was being sold on anything or just another number coming through the door. Anastasia, my hygienist, was amazing. She was clearly passionate about what she does and gave me a bunch of easy, quick tips that no one has ever bothered to share with me before. All in all I can't wait to share this gem with all my friends and family. I confirmed my appointment and then got a call 24 hours before needing to reschedule. I missed the call as I was working. I call back 4 hours later, after receiving 2 emails that my appointment was rescheduled for different times, and call to confirm my new appointment time I'd been assigned via email. I was told the emails were to get me to call them back to reschedule and were not real appointment times? There are no appointments until March of 2026 but I can get on the waiting list. Not sure why I have an appointment to be on a waiting list with and unknown of when I can get my cleaning and exam. March 2026 would have put me at 15 months from my previous cleaning. I am under the impression I am not an important patient here and am looking for a new dental office that values my health and time.

I have good teeth. Zero cavities. Never any gum disease. Have had cleanings every 6 months since age 20. All I need is a cleaning, which I told Sabina in contact form Needed appt. that fits with my husband's work schedule/days off. I do not drive due to health issues. Thus, I rely on him to drive me to/from appointments. Sabria suggested one date at 7 am on a Monday. That's my husband's day off & he likes to sleep late since he is elderly & still works fulltime. In that same email, she suggested another on a Th. at 11 am. My husband works Mon-Friday 8 am - 5pm. So can't do Th at 11 am I wrote back 7 am won't work due to husband wanting to sleep late on his days off. He is elderl & Exhausted from having to work. We are low income, surviving on soc security & his low wage job at Walmart. I suggested Any Mon/Tue after 11 & up to 7:00 pm. I also suggested any day of the week after 6:00 pm since husband works 8 am until 5:00 pm; home by 5:30 & eats dinner then; so free by 6:00 pm) Sabrina's curt reply was "Our office cannot meet your demands." These are not Demands, they are hours/days when I can set up an appt. Dr. Jack Dunn never had Any problems accomodating these hours/days.
