While we were playing at Cooperstown, we booked a tour at the Cooperstown Baseballism shop. This is a must do for any team competing at Dreamspark or All Star Village. Everyone there was great. The gentleman that gave us the tour was phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable, got the players and parents involved and went above and beyond to make the tour memorable due everyone. One of the parents even said that we should've done the tour before the tournament to get the kids pumped up. After the tour, you can go crazy in there just choosing from hats, shirts, hoodies with great baseball sayings on them. It was buy one get one 50%, so the kid got site shirts and a pair of hats. Don't miss out on this opportunity when here. If you go with your team, they hand out limited editing pins, which we all know the kids go crazy for the pins. read more

Booked a tour based on recs. We walked in at 2:55 to let them know our group was ready. Three, 20yr old kids just stood there, no greeting no welcome then told us to stand by the map. Waited until about 3:10 and went back to the front desk and told them we were ready and they told us to keep waiting. A few minutes later we walked out. A parent from our group went back about 20min later and the manager says, "we told you guys to wait". This was a terrible experience. Do not expect anything out of the tour or the employees. read more

Was around the Cooperstown area about 1.5 months ago and decided to take a Sunday day trip to check out the hall of fame. Yelp shows baseballism was closed but to our surprise they were in fact open! I've visited the SF and Irvine Baseballism stores in the past and have had a pleasant experience and this store was no different. Cooperstown was pretty empty that day but we were met by Collin who was extremely enthusiastic and helpful. Normally I don't just 5 stars out the gate. I like to go back a few times just to see the consistency of a place. This place was different for a few reasons. Their store is very nice, it's a little small but the unique baseball gear they have there is far above anyone else. The staff is very nice, helpful and happy even when the store is packed. Also the owners and managers are awesome we were in town for a baseball tournament and there are consistently teams coming in and out. I contacted them and asked if it would be possible to get a small tour. They worked it out even with our heck-tic schedule. I also explained to them that our team recently had an issue where one of our players was diagnosed with leukemia right before the tournament and was not able to make it. They jumped right into action without asking and made a care package for him with a lot of cool stuff and told us to make sure he gets it and let him know they are rooting for him. That showed me they are a company who cares about their patrons. So if you are in town looking for some cool gear and nice treatment I highly recommend you come here. read more

Brought my husband to Cooperstown for his birthday, I wasn't expecting to enjoy much of it since I'm not THAT much of a loyal fan of baseball howeverrrrrr Baseballism is a pretty cool place for everyone, kept me interested with the rows of baseball jargon designs. This place is my new favorite clothing store. Their stuff is geared towards the baseball fan and a non baseball person wouldn't get some of their stuff. I bought a shirt that said "Live life like a 3-1 count" now a non baseball person probably wouldn't get it but all baseball fans would definitely relate. The other shirt I got had pictures with a plus sign after each picture that when put together spelled out "Chicks dig the long ball." Once again I get the Maddux and Glavine reference but a non baseball person might not. The clothes in general are made of a nice fabric and the store on the inside has a clean simple feel. If you like baseball I can not recommend this store enough. Oh and also check out the posters they have some great baseball sayings on them. read more

These are some of the greatest shirts on the market for a TRUE baseball fan. I think I have 5 or 6 different shirts. The only bad part about this place is too many cool things to choose from. I could drop a full paycheck here. Definitely a brand/shoppe geared toward the true baseball enthusiast. All of the tees have sayings only a baseball lover would understand, or those who've had it engrained into their being from birth (like myself). I purchased 5 tees - for myself, my toddler daughter, father, brother and hubby. My dad and bro are going to LOVE their tees. I love the fact the tees here can be worn sporty or with a nice pair of denim, as they don't look like an "athletic" tee. Aside from their clever use of "basebalisms" as an alternative to the overdone and often boring designs on baseball-themed tees, the entire concept of Basebalism's brand is pretty smart and well-done; and their product placement & locations are spot-on. Had about 4 shirts picked out to purchase, cool clothes. My 9 yr daughter was observing customers pinning the map with their location. My daughter then asks if we can pin our hometown. We stood there with a pin in hand when a male employee so RUDELY says to put the pins down. Makes a smirk and rolls his eyes and walks away. There was no sign and other customers were actually pinning. What a jerk!! Upset my daughter so needless to say I didn't make my purchase. This happened on July 31st 2018 around 5:30pm. Walked by after dinner and there was other customers pinning. Don't understand why he was so rude to us. Very disappointing after seeing great reviews. I will never shop there again read more
