When I picked up the car, the internet was down (not their fault) so they asked me to come back when it was on so they could flash it. When I returned the next day they flashed it, but said they needed to complete one more part of the installation that required the user manual. I did not have the user manual on me (no one mentioned they would need it). No apology - in fact the manager worded it so the blame was on me for not having it. Came back the next day with the manual. They looked at my car and the manager told me the last part of the installation they were trying to do would not work with my starter unless I bought some extra parts for $40. He said "No one saw it coming", and again no apology. They install car starters - how could they have never seen this Canadian Tire model? I left. I'm unhappy with the manager. He didn't try to make it right and he never apologized or took accountability for any of it. I paid $270 to have it installed, he should have written off the $40 to finish the job correctly. The waiting room is clean and comfy, with Netflix and free WiFi. The process took just under 2 hours. After the tint, Jeff walked around my vehicle, explaining the maintenance. You should leave the windows up for 5-7 days. There was a bit of a hazy coating on the windows, which Jeff said would disappear, and it did. My concerns were bubbles, but the tint was flawless! No bubbles found! He even introduced me to the team member who did the tint, and brought me behind the scenes to explain the process. Our appointment was for 9am and the CWJ Lock & Key van arrived a few minutes early. The gentleman was very pleasant and reviewed the items to be installed and the location for each. He immediately went to work. Before starting, he placed a cloth over the floor to protect it and contain the dirt and sawdust which we appreciated since the floors are brand new. There were some questions and a few adaptations that needed to be made but every situation and all alternatives were explained. A few items we didn't even think about were explained and decisions made. In all, 8 new locks were installed. Some were replacements, some were new installs and 1 was a unique and challenging situation. All were handled expertly. We expected the entire project to take 8 to 10 hours but it only took a little less than 5. In each area where work was done the area was cleaned and other than the new lock there was no sign that any work had ever been done. The work was done quickly and expertly. All needed keys were made on site. We expected the work to cost around $600 but the actual cost was just a little over $400. We are so happy that we selected CWJ Lock & Key for this project. They have proven to us that they are an efficient, professional, person able and extremely reasonable firm and we recommend them highly.
