Their Mac and cheese is hands down the best in town!! We had such a great experience. Ordered a few seasonal peach goodies (burger, drink, and dessert) and the Mac and cheese. Everything was phenomenal!! Already can't wait to go back

Fish and chips were more like fish stick size pieces. Look at the lemon wedge for size

Smallest fish and chips I've ever had! More like fish sticks . Not as advertised in pictures for sure.

Definitely recommend the monument burger, hands down the best burger we've had in a long time. Our entire meal was amazing, huge beer selection, relaxed environment, friendly staff.

Started out loving this place because of its seemingly family friendly vibe and outdoor setting. I even included it in a guidebook I made for my Airbnb and brought out of town guests but there is one manager (not sure his title) that hates children. He's so rude and makes the vibe extremely hostile. He is always there. He came and told me that my child needed to be next to me at all times and stop running inside and screaming. She was doing neither. This is my 9 year old who is my best kid if he had told me either of my other two were causing problems I would have believed him. This girl never lies and he accused her of screaming and running inside which would have been extremely uncharacteristic. There were tons of kids so maybe he was confused but it's not really cool to falsely accuse a child and shame them in public. My daughter is also a perfectionist that takes everything to heart so no bueno. It messed her up. Just don't bring kids here if you come. Others that I come here with have had similar experiences. I don't plan on coming anymore. Basecamp GJ is way more chill and has much less bitchy vibes. Highlands is also a better choice if you have kids.

Great to see this place up and running, has been eagerly awaited by most of us in Fruita. While they get used to being so busy, the menu is essentially bar food, which is well prepared. The fries are excellent, as is the calamari. Ordering is a pain, as you have to wait in a line at the bar, typically behind people who have been also in line for 10 minutes, then, at the head of the line, don't know what they want and have to find a menu. You'll get a number to take to your table, and a staffer will walk around for several minutes with your rapidly cooling food trying to find your table. I'm sure all of this will be improved with time!

This place has the crispiest fish I've ever eaten and the tartar sauce was so flavorful. The burger was on the salty side but still good. Excellent outdoor patio areas (there are two) and ample indoor seating as well. They also have craft cocktails and local brews with fast service. It's family friendly and close to the park/downtown. Very clean.

We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on a Saturday and enjoy a late lunch early dinner at Base Camp Provisions! Yum! We had stopped here previously to pick up a to go order and was thoroughly impressed by the food so we had to stop again. Per usual the staff were phenomenal! I indicated I had a dairy allergy and the bartender/hostess went to the back to ensure the items I ordered were dairy free (Banh Mi and Pozole). Thank you! When people take the extra step to check even, it gives me confidence that I won't get sick. Truly appreciated! We sat outside and enjoyed hot Chicken Wings, Banh Mi with Pork, Pozole, Fish N Chips, Beets and Cheese Salad, Saffron Aperol Spritz, and white wine. Absolutely delicious! Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The Saffron Aperol Spritz was awesome and so unique. The bartender also working the bar while we were ordering suggested it and said it was his favorite. I understand why! It was smooth, paired well with food, and was truly refreshing. Thank you for another great meal and great drinks!

You had me at Poutine. The duck confit poutine was awesome. Looking forward to updating this after we try more from the menu :)

Slow...really slow. Ordering is slow, followed by slow making of your food. So as a whole, slow.

Good very casual restaurant with reasonable prices. The burgers don't come with sides so add fries if you want them

Elevated food for Fruita - was a welcome surprise. Super yummy poutine, and very nicely done cocktails. We will definitely be back.

Been a minute since we were there...forgot to post. Well, third time we visited this…read moreestablishment. Not good, the first picture is what we got. the second picture is what was advertised. Our Dinner...COLD baked potato, they show loaded, but all the loaded items cost more to add. COLD steak. The shrimp were not even close to normal size. extremely tiny.(my dinner) My wife's was cold as well. so cold that soft butter would not even melt. The steaks had absolutely no flavor. It's like they were just taken out of the fridge and plopped down on a flat griddle with no seasoning at all. not like the picture. Yes, we told them and they did not even offer to re cook our dinner, warm it up or give us a discount of any kind. I only ate some of it because I was SO hungry. My dinner came out and 10 minutes later, my wife's dinner came out. Honestly, the salad bar was the best part, although it was not very fresh either, but better than the main course. SO SAD how some restaurants want local support but have no idea that the food and service are horrible. Just being completely honest. Cattlemen's...need to step up your game!

I will never ever be back here. Empty place very unwelcoming with no ambiance. Waitress Kirsten was…read morevery occupied with flirting with the two men at the bar. Once we're seated, we waited 10 mins for someone to take our drink order (a soda and a beer), 10 mins to get our drinks, then she couldn't take our food order, waited 10 mins to order our food... and we were the only table in the joint. LITERALLY. I ordered a 10 oz ribeye medium rare and it came well done (maybe med well? See pic) and a quarter inch thick... 10oz size questionable. Also notice how all of my sides were eaten but the steak is still on the plate... yeah she didn't check to see how our food was until we flagged her down like sailors in distress. The waitress informed me that they cut all their ribeyes that thin and if I got another ribeye, it would be 1/4 inch thick also, so I didn't order another. My friend's filet was blue rare (raw but seared on edges) but ordered medium rare and the waitress didn't offer to cook it more but instead blamed it on having a new cook. Took Kirsten 10 mins to get me a menu. When Kirsten finally found the time to come by our table to have me order a replacement, my friend finished her dinner already. I got the cowboy chili with cornbread. The chili was lukewarm if I am being generous- they could've just microwaved it like wtf how do you serve lukewarm/room temp chili if you have a microwave??? The cornbread was dry and crumbled into a million pieces. The service was the worst and least attentive I've had in maybe ten years probably my entire life. It was almost like we were in a comedy skit except it wasn't funny. I will never ever ever go back. Texas Roadhouse is way better which is just sad. I did notice an employee eating a big beautiful steak while she closed out her shift, I asked what cut and she said a ribeye. So I guess they cut the 1-1.5 inch thick cuts for employee steaks and customers get ribeyes a 1/4 inch thin cooked into shoe leather. Pro tip: go to Strayhorn. Rumor is cattleman's doesn't even use local beef anymore, they just cosplay ranch life so you get to eat a low quality steak with the comforting smell of cow poo.
