During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. I asked if he can perform the work then and there which he is able to accommodate the request. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed. I made contact with the owner who came to my home and gave a realistic estimate of the cost. In addition to what was covered by the rebate, other work was done, as well. I was sent a quote via email which was positive because everything was done formally. A down payment was required as part of the contract. Once that was complete, SCE came in and placed a sticker on my old electrical panel. After that, ROC Electric came in and began the process of replacing my panel. There was one working day with no electricity but it was quick. This replacement took place in extreme heat. Somehow the ROC Electric team was able to keep working. I was amazed. They came in when they said they would and kept their word in regard to start dates, timeframes and finish dates. The owner of the company was flexible and understanding in regard to any issues. And for the garage-converted ADU, they ran a conduit in the attic. The entire process went from 8:30AM-3:30PM and he coordinated cutting power with my other contractors. He even patched up the drywall, something that other electricians don't do (note, painting was not included.) Shop around and compare quotes, but Sueng will most likely match the pricing.
