Bartow Ford took me for 2000.00 When I received my 2007 Ford Sport Trac back from them I am having alot of problems with my brakes that they said they fixed and also I am having a loud screeching noise in the rear end which they worked on and now it's hard for me to get my truck to go over 35mph. I plan to do and report them to everyone until they make good on totally screwing my truck up. Also I contacted the owner Bennie Robbles on his cell phone. At first he had asked me if my truck was still in their shop. I told him they had returned it to me so he ignored Every other time I tried to tell him the problem. I have a 9 year old special needs child that I have to drive back and forth to school and she has missed quite a bit of therapy appts because I am not comfortable having her in this vehicle after they screwed it up. read more

I've never experienced an issue w Bartow Ford, hence why I've spent in excess of $130,000 since 2016 until yesterday! I have a 2018 F-250 not even a year old and my daughter has show cattle we travel with all over Florida so a truck is a must have and all functions to make a truck work as a truck daily is even more important to us for rolls of hay, pallets of feed etc! Yesterday when at tractor supply my tailgate would not unlock, its locked and unlocked w the key fob or the buttons there is no key hole in case of malfunction! With that being said I was bringing it in for an oil changed today but called yesterday (the 800) number to let them know I had another issue going on that needed to be corrected immediately as I have to be able to put the tailgate down to get my hay loaded by forklift! So I called the 800 number a girl answered and I said I needed service please so she says are you bringing one in or checking on one, I said wanting to bring one in she says what's going on and I asked is this service with her reply no but I do some scheduling for them, so I told her I had a 2018 F-250 less than a year old and the tailgate would not unlock, I then explained that I use this daily to pick up supplies/feed or transport show cattle and this is a must for me to be able to do what I need to in my truck. She says the earliest I can get you in is the 8th of April and I explained that wasn't going to work as we have a show April 5-7 I then said can I speak to someone in service and she hisses and puts me through to some night service persons voicemail...... no person whatsoever! I mean I spent $70,000+ on this truck again that isn't a year old fine if you can't get me in right away BUT I should of been offered a loaner being this is a manufacture malfunction nothing to do with user error when I can't use my truck on what it was purchased for! I also do not have show cattle for fun they are taken to shows not to sit in a pasture waiting for a new truck to get fixed..... so I call my husband and tell him the situation and he calls our salesman to explain what's going on and that I need my truck to work. Our salesman took care of it today when I came in for an oil change. I give him a solid 5, girl on the phone I'd give a 0 if possible! Not a dealership you can trust. The TV spots make me want to hurl lunch. They claim they are the lowest prices, best trade ins, treat you like family what a bunch of crap. They are just the opposite. We were treated poorly. They pulled our credit numerous times and because they wanted way more than the truck was worth the banks wanted a large down payment. They would not work with us and when they discovered there was no money to be made off our deal they did not want to help us further. I was shocked because they claim to be a hometown place for our community and and the truth is they are out for the money. I will never buy another truck from them again. Period. read more

Tried the quick lane, which proved mega mistake. Nothing "quick" about it so beware. One person working with line out the door. Took six people in line before woman doing nothing decided to ask if anyone needed help! Can I get a job there? I also want to be paid for doing nothing - which tells you there is no management around whatsoever. Clearly owners are big believers in chaos theory. I traveled two hours away to specifically buy from Bartow Ford. I personally dread the process of purchasing a new truck but a friend of mine had a positive experience here so I made the drive. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed. My wife and I were greeted quickly and it was actually by one of the dealership managers, Benny Robles Jr. He welcomed us and spent time listening to our needs and also concerns. Benny Jr placed us with a salesman, John, who continued to take excellent care of us. Benny came back by to check on us. All this impressed me personally because I'm sure as the manager he is busy taking care of other things but he was very personable and took time for us. I did not purchase my vehicle from Bartow Ford I bought it up north however that made no difference to them anytime I need any type of service they are right there bending over backwards to advise and assist me I am a recent widow and they are so understanding and accommodating Jennifer in fast lane is amazing. Bought a used truck from Bartow Ford about a month ago and had some issues with the truck. The ( Pre-Owned Manager ) JR Mendoza called me wanted to get the issue solved said he will get back to me in a few days it has now been 3 weeks since I've talked to him. I've called back left message, called several times never at his desk. I'm just completely disgusted with this dealership! They have no respect for their customers. Very upsetting that this dealership would do this. I just want people to know before purchasing a used vehicle to watch their back make sure all issues are resolved before leaving Bartow Ford Dealership. As they don't care to stand behind their product they are selling you let alone you as a customer. A simple call back from them would of been nice and respectful. BUYER BEWARE. They are not a high volume dealer so they have trouble matching prices of larger dealerships. They promised me the same price as Brandon Ford but when I was taken to the Finance Manger, Dean Nelson, he misled me to believe I was receiving the best interest rate possible - which goes against their motto "Integrity, Trust, Honesty". After my own research I found out it is legal for them to add percentage points on to your loan to allow them to recoup their lost money on the sale price of the vehicle. When I questioned my rate and asked for a lower one they canceled the deal after they had already deposited my down payment. I reached out on numerous occasions, in various different ways, to speak to the owner, Benny Jr, about the situation and received no response. My advice is to save the hassle and shop bigger dealers. If you decide to shop Bartow Ford, which I strongly suggest against, just use the prices of bigger dealers as leverage, don't purchase any after market add-ons (where they will also try to recoup their losses) and secure your own financing. Whatever you do, question everything Bartow Ford says or does - they have no problem looking you in the eye and lying to you. read more

I recently had some minor body work done on my Nissan. Everyone in the collision department were great, but Delany went above and beyond. Her attention to detail and great attitude is welcome and Bartow Ford is lucky to have somebody like her. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I was looking to trade my 2009 vehicle in for a 2016 model and had a specific car and options in mind. I scoured the internet looking for exactly what I wanted and Bartow had the car with the options advertised on their web site. I live in Orlando so prior to taking an hour and a half ride to look at the car I called and was put in contact with a sales rep named Richard. I gave him all the details about the car I wanted to trade in as well as giving him a set number that I could not go above as far as my out of pocket spend for the difference in price between my trade and the price of the used car they had. Richard seemed very nice and told me he thought we could make a deal so I took the 2+ hour ( Traffic ) drive to see him. When I got there I find out they had falsely advertised the car online - it did not have the options it said it did. Richards response to that was that they had a disclaimer on the bottom of the web page saying they were not responsible for mistakes made on their web site!! He brought up Best Buy to show me it would only cost me $300+ to get the option I wanted in the car that it did not have that they falsely advertised it did as an after market buy! I was furious but decided since I had already wasted 2 hours of my day getting there I would see what type of deal I could get on the car. The deal he came back with was more than double what I told him I could spend! If we were a little off on price that would be understandable as these things happen but he had to have known he was not going to be even close to my max budget and he had me drive all the way there for a car that was not even correctly advertised! Apparently Richard could care less that he wasted my entire day!! Can't people be upfront and honest anymore? read more
