Recently purchased a BMW from another BMW dealership but had to come to this one to get a flat tire replaced. I have the BMW insurance package that covers free tire replacement and made an appointment. Upon arriving I was greeted outside and told which advisor to go see. He was on the phone and proceeded to ignore me for 20 minutes. I understand he was on the phone but a simple wave would have done the job. After he was done he asked why I was there and I told him about my tire and he goes "oh I guess you don't have an appointment" which I did... my tires are run flats so I wasn't in a emergency. Then he asked who my tires insurance was with and I told him BMW and he proceeded to question me about companies. When I bought the car I was told BMW. Once looking me up he did in fact see it was with BMW. So why not just look it up in the first place instead of confusing me. I was told they had to order the tire and it would be there by the end of the day and the car would be ready sometime in the morning the next day. When I had made my appointment I booked the shuttle service but it was not offered to me so I had to pay for an uber home which was disappointing. The next day I called to see if my car was done and I'm told I have to speak to my advisor and his phone went to voicemail. Later on in the day I called again and was told the same thing and I said "no one else can tell me if my car is ready" so the 3rd day I called back and again was told I have to speak to my advisor which again was busy and they would take a message. Finally I get a call from an unknown number (not Lakeland area code or anything I recognize) I usually don't answer these and wait for a voicemail but I picked up and it was my advisor telling me my car was ready. He claimed he had called the day before. When I looked back through my logs I had a call from that same unknown number and no voicemail. When we arrived to pick up the car I questioned why he hadn't left me a voicemail as the number was not the same as the dealership or same area code and his excuse was he was busy... too busy to leave a 30 second voicemail...we were given the keys and told the car was waiting outside. We looked around and couldn't find it anywhere so we asked for help. No one knew where it was. It took them 20 minutes to find my car that was supposedly waiting for us. It was in a whole different lot across the street! I truly expected better service from a luxury car dealership. Even Kia will go get your car for you and have it running instead of just handing you the keys to go look yourself. Apparently these people are too busy to help anyone. The only reason I'm not giving this place one star is I got my car back fixed. read more

Make sure you're overdressed! ​I was waiting for my daughter to arrive and I walked around the lot, afterwards i looked inside the car my daughter was buying, waited inside by the entrance drinking their coffee, and NO ONE came to ask me if I needed assistance!!! I was there for a good 30-40 minutes!!! There was an employee, crouched down on the floor fixing a tree about 4 feet from me. NOTHING!!! Gave them a second chance and just as lousy service as before. Could not understand the person checking in the car and then he expected me to know who my service advisor was. Two and a half hour estimate for an oil change WITH an appointment. After 1.5 hours of waiting, they tell me there is a nail in one of my tires and it will be another 1.5 hours to repair that. What is the point of an appointment? An oil change takes 15 minutes at worst and it was over thirty minutes after they did their "inspection" (which said nothing about the tire) to suddenly tell me there was a nail in one of the tires. Never again with BMW and certainly stay away from Field. Lousy waiting areas with no power to do any work and soda machine that is broken. I purchased a 2021 BMW 7 Series from Fields. It was CPO plus still had over a year new car warranty remaining. I was talked into buying an extra two-year extended warranty for $6350, to take effect once the new car and 1 year CPO expired. I ended up trading the car prior to the new car warranty expiring and I sent in the paperwork proving the trade and the odometer statement. My refund check was minus about $1500 of the price I paid. The female F and I person I spoke to said it was due to it being a Pro Rata refund. I explained it still had new car warranty remaining when I traded, and the extended warranty never went into effect and she had no answer. I asked to speak with the GM and he was not there, I asked to speak to the sales manager and he has not returned my call. My guess, the $1500 they subtracted from my warranty purchase price, was their commission on the sale of the warranty. They try to sell you all kind of overpriced options like key loss, tire and wheel insurance etc. It is all very overpriced and if like the warranty refund, they are ripping you off. MY SUGGESTION IS THAT IF YOU DO BUY A CAR THERE, DO NOT BUY ANY OF THE ADDITIONAL CRAP THEY TRY TO ADD ON. NONE OF IT IS WORTH IT. read more

I bought my BMW from Fields and have only had it serviced by their team. I have no intentions on returning. The service guy recommended replacement tires on a set of brand new tires. After I got them to remeasure the tread depth, the technician confirmed that the information he shared was inaccurate. The service guy went on to say that there are two types of tread depth measurements which is a blatant lie. Lastly, he recommended that I should always request a second opinion even when servicing at their dealership. Going forward I will take my car to BMW Tampa to avoid getting inaccurate data/recommendations and lies deflecting responsibility. This service is gas station level at best. read more

Took my car in for service too early according to them at 7000 mile mark, but was not due until 10,000miles. The service person Selina offered me a car car wash being that I had driven far. Ok that was great no service but a car wash. I get my car back from the car wash and to my surprise the the whole door handle was black with grease. I was so upset I called the service manager outside to look at it and all he could say to me is that the car wash is a separate service from the service department. All he did was have someone wipe it off. Well I can tell you this dealership I will not be going back to and the service department is horrific. This dealership has no clue on how to treat their customer. No class at all! i have been to Germain BMW in Naples fl and omg what class they have. This would have never happened at Germain BMW. Horrible, very unhelpful, warranty work, adjuster came, tech (only one apparently in the whole dealership) left home, carvana refused to send adjuster second time, fields bmw was ok with that, carvana payed two diagnostic bills and moved on, but Fields BMW rep. was "kind" enough to call me and let me know that they "topped " of Transmision fluid and i need to pay $54.04 for that , before they can release the car, never have a had that experience with Fields Mercedes across the street(the reason i choose them) in 10 years dealing with Fields but BMW was the worst, this one goes in the books and my YouTube special worst dealerships in Florida for sure. Here we go again! Second 1 star review... Car was having issues, so I had it towed back to bmw 2 months after having it fixed this time $2400 for a valve replacement. Pick up my car today after driving 1.5 hours since I live in Avon Park AND the check engine light is still on! Zachary said everything was good to go. Nathan didn't seem to give a crap and was completely unapologetic saying there isn't anything I can do today. So here we go back home with the same isues but you all got your $2400. Never again. I paid off my BMW and love the brand but the inability of BMW being able to recognize that it's not okay to give you your car still broke is beyond me. Additionally, according to Nathan the check engine light wouldn't have still been on if it was due to the valve. Do better BMW. read more

Ok so I don't normally rate anything other than restaurant's it attractions. But this experience has to be told. Moving to the Davenport area we needed some work on our BMW and decided to yo local to Field's BMW been there twice and each time had to bring our car back for re-due work. Now our BMW is in for re-due work an intermittently squeal on the belt. We scheduled an appointment for 1:30 and dropped off our car the night before. So around 4:30 I get the attached random text letting me know some others were more important or should I say the service advisor Albert was going to get more commission then a non commission re-due mess up work, decided to put money above customer service. Then when I call yes I used this crazy thing called a phone to reach out, reach out and touch someone, okay showing my age. Albert proceeded to tell me that no one had bothered to look at my car, it could be tomorrow. What really tomorrow maybe. I think maybe tomorrow you Albert may be employed or not. This is by no means how other BMW dealership operate but I guess Albert at Fields thinks he owns the company. Albert without having a factory trained tech look at my car, says maybe you need a new belt or tensioner, funny how less than 20k miles ago it was done correctly at Tom Bush in Jacksonville. I don't know if this is something that happens often. But after speaking to few people including ex-employees. This dealership is one of the worst when it comes to service. They charge you by the hour(which is fine,they all do) and the workers be wasting time and fooling around on your clock to increase the time on your bill. ( told by your own ex-workers) I took my car in to check malfunction on my headlights. They told me they had to do a process of elimination (which I understand). They told me they had to take the bumper off and the headlights out. Few weeks later I notice that they never took the bumper off since there was a part that was not line up when I took it in and it was the same when I picked it up. If that bumper came off by a tech. That should have been installed back up properly. To conclude the experience I was charge over 1200 for a burn ground cable. read more

Hands down the worst car buying experience I've ever had. They sold me a car that had been modified by the prior owner. Somehow this was not caught in the CPO inspection. In 30 days of owning the vehicle, the car was in my possession for 3. When they finally figured out what was causing the service light to come on; BMW voided the CPO and flagged the car. The GM tried to bribe me into keeping the car... like the piddle amount he was offering would ever cover repair work on a car with no warranty. They reluctantly took the car back and gave me my money back. Then the GM acted like he was doing me a favor by returning my down payment and the tax credit I had from my trade... like that wasn't already my money. When asked what they would do to compensate me for the horrific experience they said there is nothing they will do. So they get to profit off my trade (which they marked up considerably on the resale... I know who bought the car)... and totally screw me over in the process. It is impossible to reach anyone who is able to give assistance when you need it. My lease in Charlotte, NC was ending in December 2020 and I was looking for a CPO X2. I found one at a great price point with all of the amenities and low mileage that I wanted at Lakeland. I worked with Mike Henderson on the virtual purchase process. He made everything easy and was very responsive to my many questions. They addressed all of my concerns and more. They truly know what customer service is all about. My favorite part about Fields is their concierge service, where they pick up my car for service from wherever I am, and they drop off the loaner. This was my first time using this dealership's service dept, and what a disappointment it was. I scheduled an appt for two recall's to be performed on my E60, a defective "Heated PCV Valve" & "Rear Lamp bulb Carriers". I was told that this would be a good 3hr job, (not sure why as I've pulled the lamp carriers out in less than five minutes to change bulbs out myself previously), I was told by the Service advisor "Albert", I probably shouldn't wait on it which made me feel as not being welcomed to use their waiting area for some reason. I live 30 miles from the dealership and with no courtesy shuttle service for my need, I was not going to pay $70+ for taxi service due to a recall for Defective/Hazardous parts on my vehicle. Owning this car for five years and being on many of the BMW forums,I'm very meticulous and I do most of the basic maintenance on my own. That being said, I know when things are out of place or missing, which brings me to my complete disappointment and loss of trust for this service Dept. . Starting with the Engine Air Filtration Box, I was missing one of the Bolts that hold the box in place. After back and forth texting with the service advisor Promises that it would be replaced, nothing to date ! The second issue was with the 'Rear Bulb Carriers", the wires were originally wound with electrical tape keeping everything nice aesthetically in tacked. They now look like spaghetti hanging off the carrier assembly. This dealership sells luxury vehicles with which you would think that the service dept. would show that level of quality as well, not a mom & pop gas station type garage. I regret using Fields Service Dept. and should I decide to purchase another BMW in the future it will not be with this Dealership as customer service seems to be at the wayside . read more

My recent experience with BMW Lakeland sales dep probably ranks at the bottom of all of my dealings with numerous BMW sales dep throughout the country in my 15 years as a BMW owner.I have been a client of this particular BMW dealership since '15.Last week I called because I was interested in '20 X6 M50i that has been advertised on their website for the past 2 mnths.Noor Audi picked up the phone.I told her that I was checking to see if the car was still available.She was so confused that I had to provide her full VIN to find it.It took her hours to get back to me & wait for it...she sends me a link to BMW M550i xDrive Sedan, which was NOT the car I had inquired about.I sent her the link to the X6 & she then confirmed that it was available.I asked her if she could give me a ball park idea on what my '15 428i trade-in value would be.Of course,she low balled me at 1st.I then inquired about the I.R.& asked if she could provide warranty & mntn info & she said she'd do it the next morning.She then proceeded to ask if I wanted to put a deposit down...(?)on a car I haven't seen in person as well as haven't received all the info I was inquiring about.She provided me a quote the next day, but it took almost all day for me to get a couple of more answers from her.When we came to meet with her I immediately realized that we were a bother to her.She offered to test drive the car & when we got to the car I asked her if this was the same car that they've been advertising since December to which she said she "didn't know".I asked more Qs to which she said she "couldn't' remember".After T.D. we started to negotiate to which she said there was nothing she could negotiate because the X6 was "already very fairly priced".We were going back & forth for at least 40 minutes till I asked if the manager was available.Used Cars Manager came out & we were barely able to negotiate after going back & forth for about 20 more minutes.I was trading in my car, putting a larger amount of cash down and I have an exceptional credit score which all should have amounted to a very smooth & easy transaction,but smooth was noting further from the truth.I watch my credit score closely so I specifically asked not to run my credit with different lenders.She promised me that if I were to go with BMW Fin.Srvs my INT rate would be 1.49% for 60 m (0.9 % for up to 36 m)if my credit would be what I said it was.We confirmed it 3 times before I applied.They had to run my credit for OFAC & then they said they would run it again w BMW FS.I was fine with that as the promised rate seemed pretty good.I submitted an application and we left.The X6 was supposed to be delivered to me on Fri to my work place,but I offered to come to the Lakeland myself so we could finish the deal.Upon arrival we were told that the car was not ready and was still being washed.In the meantime we met with the fin.mngr who spent the first 15 minutes trying to up-sell us ceramic coating to which I already said no to the day earlier.I reviewed my printed credit app & found discrepancies which weren't explained by the fin.mngr.I was very concerned because the address of my work did not match what I input in my app 2 days earlier.She had me sign some paperwork & said she would be back within 20 minutes with the final paperwork.In the meantime we went to look at the car.When we opened the doors the water was rolling down everywhere from just being run through a simple carwash.So basically the "detailing" that I was promised did not occur as when I started opening things they were filthy.I brought it to Noor's attention & she argued that it was detailed,but after seeing it she agreed it was indeed dirty & needed addressing.We also found that the gas door was stuck and needed a repair.Soon after, the fin.manager came out to give us "not pleasant" news.We were informed that there had been a "mistake" in the I.R. we were promised.Fin.Manager informed us the rate we were promised was for 17-19 vehicles & because we were trying to buy '20, CPO, we did not quality for 1.49%.The best they could do was get us to 2.39% & agreed to keep the payments at the same price.They discounted the car by $1100.This doesn't make up the difference in .9% over the life of the loan.We were then told it won't matter if we paid it off before it matured.This's irrelevant.The major problem with the higher I.R. is that mess up on their part would cost us over $2K in INT over the life of the loan.As we tried to negotiate to repair paint chips, replace door seal as it was all scratched & throw in the ceramic coating that they tried so hard to up sell us,we were told by the GM "they weren't going to loose $2K over this mistake".I've never dealt w such terrible service at any BMW dealership & we lived in different states & have owned many BMWs throughout the years. read more

Just recently purchased a certified preowned from Fields BMW of lakeland. I was honestly just going to test drive a X5 they had there to see if i even liked it because i've never drove the x5 before. If I liked it i was going to go and purchase another X5 i was interested in at the orlando fields. Once i got to fields lakeland it was a very nice dealership and there was no usual feeling you get from car dealerships... you know what i'm talking about, that high pressure sleazy stuff some places pull. From the moment we walked in I was immediately helped by Josh. He showed me the car and let me test drive it. I was impressed but this X5 was highly optioned and the price was higher than i wanted to pay. When i returned told josh i liked it and he said then take it home... i laughed and said alright lets see what we can do... Not only did he give me the same amount for my trade in that another dealership was going to give me but he came off the price to meet the budget I was looking to spend. The whole process from start to finish was honestly the best experience i've ever had at any car dealership... and I've bought several high end cars... audi, mercedes, porsche, none of them compare to the experience i had dealing with Fields in Lakeland.
