The Colosseum Sandwich

Probably the best Italian hero I've ever had. It belongs in a museum, under bulletproof glass, so future generations know we got at least one thing right.

White pizza slice

Salad bar, sushi, Italian specialty food imports, pizza, chips, bottled drinks, Italian homemade cookies, homemade sauces, single serving desserts available as well. There's plenty of options. The deli style sandwiches are a great value and done well. There are daily hot food specials. Great spot for grab and go takeout. There's a small casual seating area. Friendly and helpful staff. A favorite for lunch during the week.

Stay away. They blindly overcharge you. Go down the street to Jerry's (The REAL Italian Market) where everything is made fresh there. NOTHING is made fresh here. Dry, salty, lack of overall flavor.

Chicken parmigiana with ziti

We placed an order for pick up at Bartolomeo. First time in New Year's Eve . The order was delivered to us on time. Great customer service thinking that was a crazy hours for restaurants. -The Chicken Parmigiana with Ziti was great -Tiramisu and red velvet cakes, outstanding!!! Fair prices Thank you guys! God bless you

I got to try two sandwiches at home so I'm not sure how to ambiance or service was. The food was okay. I first tried half of the chicken parm sandwich and while it was filling, the sauce was pretty sour and the chicken was dry. The ratio of meat to bread was off. There was so much meat that it was overwhelming. I then tried half of the eggplant parm and I had the same issues. While I did like that one better, it wasn't what I was expecting.

Use proper form when curling your lasagna plate to avoid injury.

I'm still trying to visually digest my lasagna, as it's a huge portion (even the cashier was astonished), while the flavor reminds me of a home cooked meal. The accompanying tomato/cucumber salad was equally good. Multiple food stations are here offering something for every craving and it all seems of high quality. Definitely worth a detour but don't forget your appetite!

Their Chicken cutlet, the worst sandwich I ever had.

Love it here - from sandwiches to salads to sushi always delicious. A little pricey but IMO worth it.

Best salads, sushi and coffee in town. They also make delicious rice balls. My favorite place for lunch in Englewood.

Best deli around. You won't be disappointed. Only criticism is the lack of snacks but I'm not a snack person anyway.

Amazing, I get a huge fresh salad everyday so cheap. They have hot food, sushi, deli, small grocery section, and a great salad bar.

So, the comfort that I didn't quite find at my hotel? I found it here -- at an Italian restaurant…read more I wasn't so much in the mood for Italian food as I was for patio/al fresco dining and something delicious to drink. The food was an afterthought (initially). At Aumm Aumm, it (the food) became the main story. My rideshare dropped me off and I thought, 'This will do.' A large patio in the late spring sun was just what I needed. I walked in and said I was a party of one and I wanted to eat outside. Done. Soon, a very chatty and kind waiter was taking good care of me and offering a glass bottle of still water.* As I am wont to do, I ate in waves: appetizer and main course (and, if I have the room/interest, dessert). A drink and a solid. A began my meal with the burrata. Rarely can you go wrong with a ball of cheese but this was a silky, milky sphere of mozzarella, served with oranges, toasted walnuts & topped with truffle honey. Truffle honey. I tried to pair every bite with cheese, citrus, nut, and honey and each time I was successful, my mouth sang. To accompany my chews, my waiter suggested Rancoli Vermentino, a dry white with a crisp finish and enough adjacency to the fruit components of the burrata to make it make sense. Lovely. I forgot that I was in Jersey. For my main, I had a GF version of the pennoni alla genovese napoletana - slow-cooked caramelized onions & diced beef pasta. Simple but incredibly flavorful (which, I've learned, is what Italian food is all about). The plate was large and I could smell it before I saw it (a very good thing). To help bring the dish to life, my waiter suggested a warm red blend (earthy, cherry/berry forward). He was correct on the type of wine but I was a bit disappointed in the price point. Believe me, I know the ins and outs of the restaurant biz, but this glass should have been (at least) a couple of dollars cheaper (knowing what I could get a bottle for). This slight faux pas lessened my rating to a 4. Not the end of the world. Just know what you're paying for before committing. I was pleasantly full so I passed on dessert/coffee. Th NJ sales tax was less than I was used to but the dreaded credit card charge fee made an appearance. I probably spent more money on dinner than I would at present but I don't regret the experience. I slept very well that night. *There was a charge. Know before you go.

Drinks kept it simple with a White sangria pitcher, nice taste good recommendation from our waitress. Also had Ginger ale & Coke, not bad. They start u off w some focaccia bread & olive oil, nice & warm very good. Warm baby spinach salad to begin our meal, nice combo w the apples, Gorgonzola & walnuts good balsamic dressing to top it off. Next up the Orecchiette pasta was very good, nice tasting sauce & good sausage & the Pizza Al Tartufo was delicious , freshly made good truffle taste w the added prosciutto nice & crispy. Nice looking place, funky decor our waitress was very nice & attentive. Price wise a bit on the high side but doable since everything we had was great they have a good menu to choose from, We enjoyed our food & time here.

However tonight I had the chicken franchise, amazing. The only problem, I missed the marinara sauce! I'm a creature of habit, don't like to try anything new, but I did try my wife's eggplant lasagna and it was delicious! The place was packed, a party of 40 and the service didn't miss a beat. Was not disappointed at all, first off 50 bucks for 4 people, where can you go and spend 50 bucks for 4 people? I spent 33 bucks at Wendy's the other day for me and my kid. So 50 bucks for 4 people for 3 courses in awesome! We got the ceasar salad, which was good and they gave us plenty of dressing and didn't skimp on the croutons or cheese. Next was rigatoni with oil and garlic and I gotta say I don't know what they did to the roasted garlic but it was amazing, like I was picking all the little pieces out of the pan it was so good. Then we got the sausage and peppers and if that wasn't enough they threw in meatballs with it as well. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us and we are big eaters. The sauce was so good and that fact that we eating at home I could soak up all the sauce in my bread without fear of being stared at by other patrons. We plan on ordering again and plan on going to dine in as well, the place looked newly remodeled and was quite cute inside. 5 out of 5!
