They removed a 100+ foot tree without damaging the surrounding trees and expertly removed all of the branches, trunk and debris. We also had 3 stumps removed, one which was enormous, and you would have never known they were there. This job was completed in record time with a highly skilled crew. I highly recommend this company and will only use them for any tree service we will need in the future.

Make sure you read your estimate and question anything that looks off, I wish I did; it would have saved me hundreds of dollars! I had an estimate for the same work hundreds of dollars cheaper. Don't commit to a tree service without comparing a quote from ATS!…read more We have 7 large oak trees in our yard that needed pruning. Did the usual --asked our neighbors, compared ratings on Yelp-- and ended up with three wildly different quotes. The Arborist with Arundel Tree came across as the most genuine, told us what needed to be done and what could wait. On top of that, their pricing seemed very competitive. Day of the job, the team arrived early with shiny new equipment, did a thorough pre-job confirmation and got to work. After the post-job walk-around, they mulched every branch and left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended start to finish. My only gripe is the 3% markup on credit card payment... (At least let me earn those points!)

The person who answered the phone said I'd never confirmed, to which I replied that I had an email confirming. She said she'd never received it, which sounded like a CYA lie. Attaching a screenshot of our exchange because receipts are important. If they can't even show up or be accountable in the most preliminary stages, imagine how much worse their service would be once they had your money? I should have looked more carefully at the reviews - there are some troubling ones in the filtered section, and almost all of the 5 star ones are from new Yelp accounts with barely any reviews. Never a good sign.

It was also located at the top of a bank that leads down to a creek, so the location was tricky. We obtained four estimates before starting our project. Caliber exceeded the other tree companies in every way. Their proposal was professional, specific, and detailed, and they provided information about their licensing and insurance. Both Tim and Julian were very responsive to questions. We had some limitations about where they could go on the property with the heavy equipment, because of the location of our septic field. They put down mats and did their best to minimize the impact of their work on the yard. They used two crews so there were eight men working at once, but they coordinated their efforts so well, and every person was friendly and helpful. They chipped branches and hauled away all the huge trunk sections. I would recommend them very highly for more complicated jobs.
