First course was galette de crabe, and steak tartare. The galette and tartare were both absolutely amazing. I think the galette de crabe was my favorite bite of the night. For our entrées, we had the filet and sea bass, followed by the crème brûlée and berry tart for dessert. The entire meal was accompanied by perfectly made dirty gin martinis. Honestly, there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we didn't love. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, but what really stood out was the service. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and welcoming. We also have to give a special shoutout to Maurice, the manager. We watched him supporting his staff all night -- checking on tables, literally moving tables, jumping in wherever he was needed, and genuinely never stopping moving. To me, that is always the sign of a great manager and a well-run restaurant. Such a wonderful birthday dinner, and we already can't wait to go back. Next time, I really want to try the entire tasting menu!

We were able to try a variety of dishes, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared and made from scratch. Standouts for us included the vol-au-vent with escargot, rosti, filet mignon, scallops, sea bass, and the rich, creamy French onion soup. The flavors were well-balanced, the presentation was colorful, and some elements even had a fun, interactive touch (like the Parmesan crisp). One thing that sets this place apart is how versatile it is. It offers a bar area with happy hour, a strong cocktail and mocktail selection, and French-inspired bar bites like mussels and steak. There's also a more formal dining room for a sit-down experience, plus a private dining space available (free Mon-Wed, fee the rest of the week). They've also recently opened a café next door, which is worth checking out on its own--great selection of pastries, macarons, crepes, and coffee, along with wines, cheeses, and other French specialties. The atmosphere is elegant but still comfortable, and the service was attentive and professional throughout our visit. Overall, a great hidden gem whether you're looking for a casual drink, a full dinner, or even just coffee and dessert. We'll definitely be back.

The team at Gunselmans had created the perfect pairing, a bar in the basement, with the perfect walkout patio or a dining room with excellent service and an even better menu. The steaks, chops and seafood are cooked perfectly, paired with incredible sides, simple butters, crab Oscar or mushrooms and onions...not to mention an incredible wine list. I opted for the lemon pasta with scallops and the lobster bisque, the bisque while pricey was worth every penny, a delicate broth full of lobster meat spiced perfectly. The scallops were seared well, full of flavor and not overdone. My husband loved his steak and garlic mashed potatoes. The ambiance was classic steakhouse without being too pretentious, the service was spectacular, great attention to detail.

Second course was a pasta dish with wagyu beef sauce that was a good bolognese, third course was sea bass with lobster sauce-- it was good. The fourth course was the flank steak with butternut squash. This was my fave because the squash made me wonder about the flavors involved. The fifth was dessert. The pic tells it all. I did not enjoy the cake as I didn't enjoy a gritty texture. Service was good. I felt sort of bad for him because he also served a challenging table. He kept his professional demeanor. Overall, I expected more for the price. I had serious food envy for those that ordered the mussels, lamb shank and scallops and some sort of tiered salad type thing-- reminded me of molded Russian salad. Wine pairing was pretty good, but I should have asked for a non oaky wine that was served with the beef. However, I enjoyed the meal and service for the most part. We will be back, next time I'll ask what neighboring tables ordered. I won't do the tasting menu again. .

My bartender Antonio was incredibly knowledgeable and had amazing recommendations before I even had to ask. I started with the fried lobster ravioli, and he suggested dipping it in the Tuscan sauce. That recommendation alone deserves five stars because... wow. It was absolutely incredible. For my entrée, I had the strawberry steak salad and it was cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I'm also very picky about my lemon drops because I make a pretty great one myself, but they absolutely nailed it. Then I ordered an espresso martini simply because I trusted the bartender's recommendations by that point. I'm usually not a fan of the creamier style, but this one came with a chocolate-covered pretzel rim and I was sold. It ended up being one of the best espresso martinis I've had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I found out they have live music on Wednesdays and a $25 T-bone special on Thursdays. Safe to say I'll be back... probably sooner rather than later!

They have their own parking lot (on both sides of the restaurant) which is a big positive given their location. The interior was much larger then I expected, I can see it being good for large parties of people. My friend and I both opted for the crab cake sandwich (I switched out the chipotle aioli for the lemon one with no issue) and a side of fries. It was a very solid sandwich with very solid crab cakes. The service was attentive without being overbearing which I appreciated. Overall would recommend! I'd like to stop by and try more things.
