Everyone from the TMC crew was great to work with, we had a rather large project and we did not mind seeing the TMC crew every morning bright and early! From the very start, their team was professional. The sales process was transparent, insightful, and educational as we had to discuss what our vision was for our home while the TMC team helped us put a plan together to make it happen. As for the work and team, every member was meticulous with every detail of our project (siding, windows, and covered wrap around porch), and really took pride in their work. Special shout out to Joe and his crew who bring years of experience to the job site, Scott who helped us with estimates and working through pivots in the plan, the wonderful office staff who helped keep the project moving forward, and even the owners who came out and checked in to make sure we were happy with everything! TMC is and will be our contractor of choice for future projects.

I feel that you can tell a lot about a company by talking to the person who answers the phone. Amber quickly inspired confidence in my choice of choosing this company to contact. She answered the phone immediately, was professional and listened to me carefully. She set up an appointment when Tony could visit. And she explained Tony would text me the day of the appointment with the window of time he would be arriving. Love organized and efficient. As per his word, Tony texted me and gave me a 4 to 5:00 p.m. window and showed up on time. For the next hour Tony evaluated the situation by getting a very close look at the problem area. He then went up into the attic for a closer inspection. When he came back he had pictures on his phone and explained what was going on. As it turns out there is an open area in the roof where rain water can get in. This likely created the spot that has now formed. He said it was fixable and would send me an estimate via email. If I agreed with the estimate, I would be added to his schedule. (Luckily this is a very slow leak and the ceiling spot is small.) Tony was professional, knowledgeable, and I was very pleased with choosing him out of many other people. The estimate was received the next morning! I absolutely felt it was fair and reasonable. He is a popular guy. I have a month's wait. As an aside: My neighbor was present during Tony's visit. He was so impressed with Tony that he asked for his business card. I love supporting a local, independent, and family-owned business. Thanks, Tony and Amber. See you soon.

I emailed him the approved plans, permit, and engineering (I already had completed) the day he came out and was told it would be about a week before he could get me a quote. After 2 weeks not hearing from him, I emailed him for an update and didn't hear back from him for nearly another 2 weeks. So, after about a MONTH I finally received an estimate that was about 5x my other quotes from highly recommended, licensed and insured contractors. My suggestion is to not bother providing "free estimates" if you do not have the bandwidth to follow through.

Some of the qualities that stood out to me were their professionalism, communication, thoroughness and thoughtfulness. Sean was great at communicating to me what days they would be working and what projects they'd be working on those days. He gave me timelines for everything and always communicated if things were taking longer than expected. Sean's crew was absolutely fantastic at cleaning up at the end of the day. We were living in the house while they were working on it and I have kids so it was so nice to come home to a construction site that was clean and safe for my kids. The work that Cornell did was TOP notch. Everything in our remodel/addition is exactly how we wanted it. Sean contracted out some of the work to great local businesses who were also extremely professional and great at their jobs. Sean was also great at walking us through parts of the project and giving advice to us on parts of the project we hadn't considered. He had fantastic ideas and really helped us consider everything before making big decisions. I would highly recommend Cornell Construction to anyone looking for a contractor.

Being here was several weeks, I worked from hime to let them have access to the backyard and inside the house for their needed repairs. They all worked without issue and concern, and provided necessary updates when available. Communication with the city for permits was at issue at first, and an initial inspection was missed. As myself and the team weren't aware it was taking place at that specific time. 2nd inspection, the inspector was several hrs late and made the contractors wait all day, and no work could get done that day. Inspections after were good. Only issues I noted were a number of nails left out in my yard, all in the same area vicinity. Where my dog also goes out to walk, so that was a little concern. But there was nothing else that occured, and clean up for was good before and after. Total work - $18k+
