Never got to get a car detailed…read more First time I tried to call them, no one answered the phone for 2 days. When I left a voice message no one called back. Their website had a form to fill for them to contact you, but no one called back from that either. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment on their website, but I had to move that to a week later because something came up. I got a confirmation email a day before the rescheduling date but no one showed up. When I called them, they said they had no record of my appointment (I still have the confirmation to prove this). I rescheduled the appointment for another day and had to cancel this time as the car needed some repairs. I cancelled ~30hrs before the meeting, but now I am told there will be a $50 cancellation charge... 1) It's extremely difficult to get them on the phone 2) Their website or emails do not clearly say that there's a 48 hour policy for cancellations. 3) The confirmation email with the cancellation link is sent 24 hours before and not 48 so what's the point of that confirmation email? EDIT: I found the email from when I signed up and it says 24 hours (I have a timestamped email) "If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may do so through www.CarBeautifulAustin.com or give us a call at 512-924-4545. Remember there's a 24 hour cancellation policy with a $50 fee on any job cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. " I got on the phone and complained about it and Andrew basically called me a liar about the #2 instance where they didn't show up and I had to call and reschedule the appointment. They are not going to send me a $50 bill. but I don't like getting called a liar, so I am leaving this review here even though I told Andrew that I would delete it. Sorry Andrew this is not how you should treat your customers.

This review is based on my direct personal experience with Jacobi Wynne of Detail Driven Auto…read moreDetail. To be fair, Jacobi does amazing detail work. I am not here to pretend he has no skill. The issue is not whether he can clean, polish, or detail a vehicle. The issue is whether he can be trusted. In my experience, the answer is no. My issue is not with someone trying to build a business, chase acting, or promote themselves. My issue is with integrity, silence, and accountability. My family treated Jacobi like family. When he was down to one car, I allowed him to use my brand-new Santa Cruz. He used it to run his family around and take care of what he needed to take care of. When I was seriously injured and unable to weight-bear or bend my leg for months, he helped me around my house, helped me get to appointments, and helped my mother. We helped him too. He told me he was dealing with issues at home and needed a way to monitor the house at night, so I bought him a $200 Reolink security camera to help him out. I was also close to letting him use my cameras and streaming gear for his business, and I am thankful I did not end up doing that too. This was not some random business contact. This was someone we trusted, helped, and opened the door for. That is what makes the betrayal worse. The biggest issue involves my mother, Shannon Spangler. On June 12, 2024, she entered into a handwritten agreement with Jacobi Wynne of Detail Driven Auto Detail. That agreement stated that she invested $1,300 with him for advertising/marketing connected to his business. It stated she was supposed to receive her initial investment back by July 12, 2024, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. It also stated she would receive 10% of all net sales created as a result of her marketing investment, with estimated net revenue from sales listed at $7,000 to $9,000, to be paid within 5 days of receiving payment for services rendered. That was not gossip. That was not a misunderstanding. That was his own handwritten agreement. My mother is a 71-year-old woman living on Social Security and retirement income. She tried to help him. He gave her his word in writing. Then, in my experience, he stopped communicating and did not honor the agreement. I gave him time. I tried to be understanding. I knew he had family issues and left for California around December. When he eventually came back and I saw him posting again, I asked about my Evolve Diablo electric skateboard that he had picked up from the fire station. I had asked multiple times for it to be returned because I had someone ready to buy it, and I needed that money to help with bills. He avoided the question. I also asked him about the contract with my mother. He avoided that too and said it was not a good time and that he would call me back. He never called back. Instead, he blocked my number and my mother's number. Then I found out my electric unicycle had ended up at a pawn shop. When I was in the hospital, I had asked Jacobi if he could unplug my electric unicycle because it was in my garage, plugged in, sitting in the Texas heat, and that is not good for the battery. Instead of simply unplugging it and leaving it at my house, he took the charger and the EUC to his house and told me it was in his closet. Later, that same EUC was spotted at a pawn shop. It has custom paint, and the electric unicycle community here is small. Someone recognized it and contacted me. I got the police involved, and the EUC was recovered. I do not care whether he personally pawned it, left it with someone else, or abandoned it somewhere after disappearing. What I know is this: it was last in his possession, he never returned it to me, and I never had the opportunity to pick it up before it ended up somewhere it never should have been. To be clear, these are the items I believe Jacobi still needs to return or account for: shop vacuum, car polisher, Evolve Diablo electric skateboard, armored motorcycle jacket he picked up after my accident, and the electric unicycle that was found at a pawn shop and recovered with police involvement. Most importantly, he needs to honor the handwritten contract he made with my mother. I have nothing to gain by posting this except telling the truth about my experience. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I want him to return the property, account for what happened to the EUC, and honor the contract he personally wrote with my mother. He has my number. He has my mother's number. He knows exactly how to make this right. The problem is not that he does not know what to do. The problem is that, for over a year, he has chosen not to do it. My beef is with his integrity. My beef is with his silence. I made two videos/tracks about this because I am an artist, and this is how I process betrayal, document my experience, and turn a private wrong into public accountability. I did not make them because I wanted drama. I made them because after a year of being
