I wish there was one closer to me because their coffee is amazing! Definitely want to go back!

So I've been coming here for almost 3 years now but only ordering from the drive-thru. The coffee is always great! My friend and I wanted to go get coffee together and chat but somewhere in Richland that isn't too loud and crowded. I really like this place and don't understand how I've never been inside until today! Great atmosphere and I like that it's not too loud and crazy! :-) I don't feel rushed to order my drink:-) it's a smaller coffee shop but so awesome! read more

Unfortunately Barracudas is not what it used to be. It seems the only familiar and pleasant face is Krissy and she is rarely there. The new older blond lady is only friendly sometimes and by the way she treats Krissy and bad mouths others it's a surprise any employee stays. Up until a few months ago I wouldn't go anywhere else. The coffee is still good thank God but the atmosphere is typically cold and uninviting. It's sad to see a good place go down. I'll continue going for now and appreciating those few days Krissy welcomes me and others by name and a smile. read more

Not a big coffee drinker, but I like dessert type drinks, and Barracuda Coffee reigns. Have never had a bad drink, while other places I enjoy often have their ups and downs, so I appreciate the consistency on something as fickle as properly mixing a drink. read more

I have been a huge fan of Barracuda's for a long time. In the past few weeks, I have noticed a personnel change (beginning around March 2014 or so). I am not sure if they sold the place or what, but the new people seem to be lacking the customer service skills that were at Barracuda before. I usually frequent this place weekdays before 8am. In the past month, my order was wrong a few times and the drive thru workers were inattentive. I was really shocked this morning. I ordered a nonfat iced mocha and they gave me an iced latte with whole milk. I ordered my drink at the speaker and pulled forward to the window and was ignored for about 5 minutes before they even gave me my drink. A couple of workers saw me and didn't even acknowledge me at the window. In fact, my drink was waiting at the counter and then the drive thru window worker made 3 drinks for the car behind me before acknowledging me. It is sad to see customer service disappear at this place. I really like their coffee. read more

This is bar-none the best tasting coffee in the Tri Cities, better than roasters, bad andys, and sharehouse. I worry when they change staff, or that they will change in general. I almost always get a hemi. read more

Barracuda's is such a great local establishment. They make the best flat white this side of London--much better than the big northwest coffee chain that everyone raves about. They used to be pretty good, but then they went and changed the menu board at the drive through and it is VERY hard to read/find what you want. And none of the old yummy drinks are on the menu (White Angel, Killer Caramel, Hemi to name a few... all gone). The old menu is still on the website. The new menu is boring, plain, hard to read. Add on to that, I get a 16 oz iced drink for $4.25 and it is almost all ice, so within 5 minutes the drink is gone! Should get more for the money. read more

Best coffee in the tri-cities hands down

After reading great things about this place, I was excited to try it out. I'm from Portland, and am used to getting coffee from little independent cafes near my house. I am here for school - I've been slumming it going to Starbucks, but found this place a little by accident. I was a bit disappointed. The coffee is good, but the woman who took my order wasn't the friendliest, and there were no savory snacks, besides a ham and cheese croissant. When I asked the barista about other 'savory' offerings, she looked at me a little cross-eyed, like she didn't know what 'savory' meant. She asked me, 'you mean, like yogurt?'. Umm, no. Yogurt isn't savory.... Also, it's advertised here on yelp and on their website that they have a printer you can use, but when I asked the barista about it, she was like, 'uuuh' and had to go ask Jake the owner. Jake was friendly about it, and said there was this whole process, or - I could just email the doc to him and he could print it out. Maybe it isn't a good idea to advertise the use of a printer if 1) the barista knows nothing about it, and 2) it is such a headache to use. Overall, coffee good, baristas could use a little help. read more

LOVE the coffee (especially the Very Vanilla lattes). Love that they switched to Stumptown Roasters. Wonderful new remodel inside. The place is super inviting, and I'm pretty sure I could spend an entire day there. Increasing the open hours would be nice!!! read more

Great tasting coffee, good service, & great looking store. Only one problem. The coffee is crazy expensive. More expensive then Starbucks.

I'm from Seattle but moved to Tri Cities two years ago. Barracuda coffee, hands down, has the best lattes in the area. My favorite place in Seattle is Vivace and my favorite place here is Barracuda. They have very well trained baristas, they don't steam their milk too hot and the shots are always delicious. It's a great place for people who are latte / espresso snobs. read more

I love this place. I go here a couple times a week. Never had a bad experience. I like their drinks better than Starbucks. I love it when I order my kids a flavored milk and they put little gummy bears on the lid of their drink. I think that is super cute! Keep up the good work Barracuda! read more
