"Coffee by the river", google set us up. Friendly service with coffee made to order. It's our go to place.

Stopped by this conveniently located little shop right in Howard Amon Park and it's honestly such a cute spot. They've got a variety of drinks, including some Starbucks options which was a nice surprise. I ordered the SB Caramel Macchiato and loved it! Service was super fast too. They also have a collection of books from local authors you can read while you enjoy your drink. After walking around the park on a sunny day, grabbing something cold from here was so refreshing. Definitely a handy place to cool off and chill for a bit. I would love to drop by here again!

I'm not surprised Milieu Coffeeworks has a perfect rating on Yelp because this is absolutely darling. It's one of the best businesses I've ever been to and can't say enough positive words about it. We didn't even know about this place until we stumbled upon it - and that is what I call a fortuitous event. Milieu Coffeeworks is located in the Howard Amon Park, which is where we were walking around when we heard 1930's music playing and saw it was coming from a parked silver truck, which we had to check out. And there it was, a coffee stand with the friendliest barista and shelves of books that you can read, browse and even purchase! Holy moly, I absolutely love this concept! We ordered a cortado and chatted with the owner, Ben for a while about books, coffee and the area. Milieu may just be a coffee stand at a park, but there were chairs to invite those to chill for a bit with their cup of caffeine and even a carpet to make you feel more welcomed. There was a dog bowl of water and they even give treats for the fur babies, of course. Plus, there's a cooler where they provide free water to those passing by. Freaking amazing. Ben explained that he wanted to create a space where people came, met up and mingled with one another, so you can get to know your neighbor and others. I love this. Coffee was strong and is locally made from Kennewick. They also have affogato and bananas for sale, and as mentioned, the used books on the shelves for browsing are all for sale. All books are $8. If I lived in the area, Milieu Coffeeworks is somewhere I'd frequent for coffee or just to hang out with a book and my dog, while enjoying the views of the river and park. I'm so glad we found this place during our visit to the tri-cities.

I ordered an iced white mocha & added raspberry syrup, it was the perfect blend of bitter and sweet. The coffee flavor itself is super yummy. There are books and tables where you can sit and read for free, or even purchase a book for $8, there was fresh flowers out & a dog bowl with water. Super vibey with the music he plays!

I am in awe of this place. The peaceful atmosphere includes books, coffee, and a view of the river. I ordered a black americano to test the waters before moving on to a vanilla latte, which was amazing. I enjoyed my barista, who was an amazing conversationalist.

Some of the best coffee in the TC! They know what they are doing with their joe, and they offer a lending library. Highly recommend!

Well, going through the Tri-Cities to visit family, on our way to the wine country in Walla Walla…read more We were looking for coffee and some light breakfast. We stumbled onto this place, they had really good reviews, and it was nice and close to our hotel. Upon walking in the door, the people working there were very friendly and greeted us immediately. We took a moment to see what they had, understand what the options were, and decided on a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting, and a breakfast sandwich along with a drip coffee. The cinnamon roll was our appetizer, and I'm glad that we shared it, it was cooked very nicely and tasted really good. Once we got the egg sandwich, we cut it in half, and shared it, and that was the right amount of food for a late breakfast snack. The breakfast sandwich was really good as well. We did ask for a refill on the coffee and they did offer it to us without a charge. A nice plus This was a Saturday morning, and it was kind of busy in the place, but it was nice and quiet and able to have a conversation. I would definitely go back, the food, the service, the cleanliness, we're all pluses.

I made my decision within a minute. It took the ladies with me considerably longer. We ended up with treats for after dinner and to go with our coffee in the morning. The problem was I only got 1/4 of the one I chose, their "millionaires bar." The ladies wanted it too. Fortunately there were other treats. The selection was not huge, but what we bought were all delicious! If we lived closer I would be a "frequent flyer" at Ethos. The "millionaires bar" was my favorite. Next time I need to get more than one.
